The world-class Forza Motorsport franchise is back on its fourth installment of the best selling XBOX 360 racing game everyone love because of its world-class car selection, world-class tuning, and world-class personalization.
FM4 is a safe haven for the car enthusiasts who are willing to tackle against the modern conventions of today's industry where fuel economy reigns over performance. Here, this game provides more features than the previous three games and it is the first Forza game to feature Top Gear-related content because of the collaboration between the Forza Motorsport franchise and BBC's Top Gear franchise.
WORLD-CLASS CAR SELECTION:
Forza Motorsport 4 offers over 500 cars from over 80 manufacturers, each with their own unique exterior, interior, performance, and the pride of nations, spanning half a century of cars from North America, Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia. You can see some of your old favorites such as the Lexus LFA, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, Bugatti Veyron, Honda Civic Type-R Euro, Subaru Legacy B4 BM9, Nissan GT-R Spec V, McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Murcielago SV, and others. There's also newcomers to the game as well such as the Honda EK-9 Civic Type R, the Ford XB Falcon as seen from Mad Max, Toyota Prius, Nissan Leaf, Lexus CT 200h, and the cars from Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment such as the Suzuki Liana (known in Japan as the Aerio) sedan and the Kia c'eed.
New on this game is the AutoVista feature where players can explore different cars by the way the doors are opened, getting inside the vehicle, hear engine sounds and you can hear commentary from Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. More new cars are coming soon as DLC packs starting next month but to keep you covered, players can purchase a Season Pass that covers six months of upcoming DLC content coming soon.
WORLD-CLASS RACETRACKS:
Forza Motorsport 4 takes you around the world to race against some of the finest racers for a true globe-trotting experience unlike any other. New to this game are Bernese Alps (original track takes place at Switzerland), Hockenheimring (world circuit takes place at Germany), Indianapolis Motor Speedway (world circuit takes place at North America), Infineon Raceway (world circuit takes place at North America), and The Top Gear Test Track.
WORLD-CLASS GAMEPLAY:
Forza Motorsport 4 changes the racing gameplay with its impressive gameplay and since this is the first to allow two ways to play; one by controller and other hands-free courtesy of Kinect. The way you turn, drift, or pass is rated by four bars at the left side of the screen. The level-up system been changed and there are different benefits. For instance, if you leveled up your driver level, you can choose one of the different car bonuses varying by class and if you spend hours racing with your car, you'll gain affinity levels which is somewhat similar from Ridge Racer 7. Higher affinity levels on car brands will give you discounts or cash bonuses. Aside from racing, there are some mini-games you can find such as Car Bowling, Car Soccer, Tag Virus, and others that you can find it more enjoyable than racing.
WORLD-CLASS PERSONALIZATION:
Customization is Forza's top priority and players can customize with various engine tunes, tire setups, transmissions, body kits, drive train conversions, and other tuning essentials to make it more powerful depending on the budget. Also the top priority is decorating your ride with various decals handmade by you and others. From here, you can create versions of famous race cars, liveries, or even itashas as well. Creativity in FM4 is the biggest world-class priority.
WORLD-CLASS CONNECTIVITY:
The biggest priority of FM4 is online connectivity. The new Rivals mode is somewhat similar from Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 because you can challenge against other players' ghosts for the best record and winning against these will give you cash prizes. If you noticed that someone beats your ghost, you can issue them a revenge and try the very best you can. New to Forza 4 are "Car Clubs" where you can start your very own "owners club" on the net much like you're starting a car club in real life. Join a car club or become the admin of the car club, whatever floats your boat. This is the best way to connect with Forza Faithfuls from around the world.
WORLD-CLASS BONUSES:
The Limited Collector's Edition will give you world-class bonuses such as a special disc case made of metal, The Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 by Top Gear booklet, VIP Membership (requires online connectivity), VIP Car Pack, BMW Custom Design Car Pack, and for pre-order bonuses, Launch Bonus car pack. The new BMW F10 M5 is available at the in-game Marketplace for free and yours to keep.
