For the fun of it, let's compare how does the anime versions of Hayate Ayasaki, Nagi Sanzenin, and Maria differ from their Taiwan drama counterparts.

First off, let's compare the anime/manga version Nagi Sanzenin to its live-action drama counterpart. The real Nagi Sanzenin in the Hayate anime/manga is somewhat a "spoiled brat", loli tsundere, pigtails, blonde hair, and looks perfect. The drama counterpart looks grown up but retains its spoiled brat attitude.

Hayate Ayasaki

You've probably know the major differences of the Hayate from the anime and manga and the Hayate played by George Hu, right? Maturity doesn't slow him down but yes, we'll let you decide.

Maria

That Maria from the Hayate anime and manga looks clean but that Maria from the Hayate drama, played by Tia Li, seems to be showing off her darker side but she looks more of a "bodyguard" than being a maid. Kuha mo?

The kind of 2011 Charger is saw is the 3.6L SE variant (minus the Rallye packaging), the entry-level grade for the Charger equipped with the all new Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine. Gotta admit it that when I see a commercial for the 2011 Dodge Charger, I love the roaring sound of the 2011 Charger's V6 engine because it sounded more monstrous. What's even more monstrous is its face and yes, I love the new monster face of the 2011 Charger because of its aggressive stance.

What I also love is its rear view because it resembles like the Dodge Challenger sports car. Heh, seems it has something inherited from its "handsome brother". When Mang Ben (Jayson Gainza) gets inside his owner type jeep, the engine can't start. While opening the hood, the jeep's battery had a problem. Later, Jobert with his Ford Focus approaches and Mang Ben explained the whole problem. Jobert readies with his some kind of electric apparatus until Jobert got electrified. With Jobert unconscious because of electricity, Mang Ben tries to revive him with the apparatus Jobert used. Jobert woke up and congratulates Mang Ben but both of them got electrified!

Hayate The Combat Butler Drama hits TV screens - Like it or not?

Hayate The Combat Butler TV Drama

If there's one thing why a Taiwanese TV network raises the hand to create a drama version of my ever favorite title of the manga that was serialized by Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday and aired in TV Tokyo for two seasons (not to mention the upcoming Heaven Is A Place On Earth movie coming this late August), well don't ask why they chose Hayate The Combat Butler as their base to create a drama version of the same title.

While witnessing the very first episode, it follows the same flow from the original story found on the manga and anime but with minor changes.

The parts that I like where Hayate rushes to Nagi when she was abducted by some kidnappers. When Nagi said Hayate's name loudly, an umbrella appeared unexpectedly and the kidnappers' car hit Hayate with full impact and a bit of slow motion and later bounced back and Hayate hit the kidnappers' car, causing him unconscious and the kidnappers caught by the guards. Also, the hot springs part, it only hurts when I laughed at the part when Maria yelled at Hayate after...you know, and she hit him with something. OUCH!

With George Hu, Park Shin Hye, Tia Li, and the others, I say that this is one fine masterpiece and this Hayate the Combat Butler TV drama aired last June 19, 2011 was the best in class. We'll be waiting for more to come and let's raise a glass for the hard work and determination done to bringing this favorite come to life.

In a June 19, 2011 episode ABS-CBN's UNKABOGABLE talk show, Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice Ganda meets up with a good friend who used to be a Showtime hurado before landed a job as the villainous Gary David from the 2010 version of Mara Clara, Jhong Hilario. Heh, Vice Ganda mistaken Jhong for being Gary but still he hasn't changed a lot when Jhong showed off his "SAMPLE SAMPLE SAMPLE" moves. Well, looks like Jhong wishes Vice Ganda good luck for this new blessing! ^^

Driving Music (What is the name of the song on car commercial?) Vol. 3

Looks like I'll be giving you another top 5 driving music (car commercial songs) for this moment because of the emergency measures that I'm receiving another questions. If someone ask what was the French song played on a Spanish car commercial, sorry I don't have the answer for that! (Laugh). Also, someone asked what was that Spanish song on a 2006 Nissan Murano commercial. Sorry, I can't answer that too. Anyway, I'll be giving you another set of five Driving Musics (car commercial songs) for you to find and either play it in your car audio or set it as a Personal BGM on Gran Turismo 5. Here goes...

5) Back in December 2007, since the launch of the second-generation Daihatsu Tanto and Tanto Custom, I saw a commercial for the Daihatsu Tanto Custom starring Masami Nagasawa and Hideaki Ito. Good commercial for a good kei car. I think I know what was that song played on the Daihatsu Tanto Custom 2007 commercial. It was sung by EXILE and the song was Kawaranai Mono. I see, Kawaranai Mono is the EXILE song used on the Daihatsu Tanto commercial. Good luck finding that song and buy it too!

4) In May 2009, I watched the Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon starring Robert De Niro. For the moment you asked what was that song on this commercial, it's simple. The answer is "Walking In The Sun" by Travis. Find it on Travis' album titled Singles!

3) Last year, I watched a Japanese commercial for the Toyo Tires Garit G5 studless tire. If you see the ad with the Audi A4 Avant driving on the snow, well that's the ad for the Toyo Tires Garit G5. You want to know what was that song? The title is RIDE AWAY〜雪の降る街から〜 by Hi-Fi CAMP. Find it on the album titled 2nd Best.

2) Years ago, I watched a commercial for "Petron Treats" in the Philippines. For those Filipinos who are actually avid Petron Treats customers waiting for the answer for the most asked question "What was that song?", well, the answer is Come Together by The Beatles.

1) Hey, remember the Citroen DS3 Anti-Retro commercial that has either Marilyn Monroe or John Lennon at the beginning? When the word "ANTI-RETRO" appears, you heard the song and asking others what was that song for the DS3 Anti-Retro advert. Simple, the answer for this question is W.A.R.R.I.O.R. by Ebony Bones. Try finding that song!

Prius α vs. Fit Shuttle Hybrid

Well, it all goes to this. The Toyota Prius α (Alpha) was launched since May 13, 2011 and the Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid was launched since June 16, 2011. Both of them are hybrid MPV (multipurpose passenger vehicle) but which of these hybrid MPVs are fresh to be "my pick" and how are these two differ? Let's find out....

CASE ONE:

Toyota's Prius α (Alpha) is the MPV spin-off to the third-generation Prius hybrid car. As a hybrid car, the Prius α provides the fuel economy of 31.0km/L in 10-15 Mode and 26.2 in JC08 Mode. Once more, the 2ZR-FXE engine provides a power output of 99PS in standard and it can be boosted up to 136PS if the 60kW 3JM electric motor is active. On the styling cues, the Prius α matches the same Prius DNA because of its triangular silhouette and the interior design is somewhat a technological breakthrough. The new One-dial Air Conditional Control takes control of the Prius α's room temperature. The Prius α comes in either a 5-seater or 7-seater. The Prius α 5-seater is packed with the nickel metal hydride battery while the 7-seater is packed with the new Lithium Ion (Li-ion battery). What surprises me on the 7-seater variant of the Prius α is the panoramic roof called Skylight Roof, available exclusively on the Li-ion battery-powered Prius α 7-seater. Because of the trouble caused by the March 11 disaster and the curious case of "parts shortages", delivery time for the Prius α takes about one year, so you might need to wait a longer more time to get your own Prius α.

CASE TWO:

The Honda Fit Shuttle was the replacement of the axed Honda Airwave MPV and this is the MPV spin-off to the second-generation Honda Fit. I'm talking more about the Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid MPV because we're dealing with the rivalry between the Toyota Prius α (Alpha) and the Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid. Unlike the Toyota Prius α soon to be exported worldwide as the Prius V (5-seater) and Prius Plus (7-seater), the Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid is not intended for export purposes and it's available only in Japan. Unlike the Prius α's one year delivery, the Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid's delivery time takes about two months, that's 10 months short so there's a chance for buyers to get their own Fit Shuttle since orders reached to about 7000 customers. On the stats, the Fit Shuttle Hybrid gets a fuel economy of 30km/L, which is 1 km/L short than the Toyota Prius α. The Fit Shuttle Hybrid is available only in 5-seater and it comes with the nickel metal hydride battery. No 7-seater, no Li-ion battery just how the Toyota Prius α had. Besides, the styling on the Fit Shuttle Hybrid is just too bulgy and obese.

In my verdict, I prefer the Prius α rather than the bulging Fit Shuttle Hybrid because it is economical, stylish, and comfortable, but I have to wait until next year to get it. In the meantime, I have to make do with the bulging and obese Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid. What do you think?
