2018 Ssangyong Tivoli

Of course, the new Tivoli Armour is designed for individuality for new owners looking for something that will suit their style and apart from that redesigned front bumper and some new alloys, customers can personalize their Tivoli Armour just they way they like. In the new GEAR EDITION variant, customers can personalize their Tivoli by the exterior paint, roof paint, outside mirror, hood decals, roof decals, emblems, and a choice of 17 and 18-inch alloys.

Nothing's new about the interior of the Tivoli, except that it now offers two interior colors such as brown and black. The instrumental panel can be change to up to six different colors while the room temperature can be cool or warm thanks to its climate control, the multimedia system serves more than just music and navigation, the rear seats can be folded for more cargo space, there's so much you can do with it.

It still comes with the same e-XGi160 1.6L petrol engine that develops 126PS of power and 16kg-m of torque but now a 1.6L XDi diesel engine is added but it produces 11ps less than the petrol model, 115PS compared to the previous model's 126PS but torque's 30.6kg-m of torque. The choice of either a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic remains but the diesel model comes only with an automatic gearbox.

Amazingly, a Smart 4WD System is added on the Tivoli, which can adapt on any road conditions at ease and that's a good thing in case of summer storms.

For safety, the Tivoli Armour now comes with autonomous emergency brake that can brake by itself in an event of a near-collision scenario and apart from this, it also comes with Daytime Running Lamps, Electronic Stability Program, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and seven airbags.

The facelifted Tivoli starts at 16,510,000 KRW for the petrol and 20,600,000 for the diesel.

FH3 Hot Wheels: The Big Finish!

If you get up to 100 medals during your Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels adventure, you'll have access to the biggest Hot Wheels experience ever witnessed, which is none other than the Hot Wheels Goliath event. This event serves as the ultimate challenge where their insane driving experience they felt at the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia will be heavily tested in this ultimate rollercoaster ride where one single mistake will spell disaster for the driver.

For this final challenge at the Thrilltopia, I've selected FH3 Hot Wheel's hero car, the legendary Twin Mill, one of the most iconic Hot Wheels toy cars ever made, and because this is the hero car of FH3 Hot Wheels, there's a saying; Where it all began, where it all will end.

Of course, most of you saying there is no way your Twin Mill hero will survive Hot Wheels Goliath because this is an S2-class race and this car's S1-class and even if it tweaked to meet its regulations, there's no way it can take on powerful opponents. There will be Regeras, FXXKs, and Huayra BCs hounding on my backs like thieves at night and I understand that but this is the hero car so let the hero car win just once, ok? Let heroes finish what they started and that's my point.

Some folks are right though because even though it possesses almost a thousand and a half horses from its twin engines bolted at the front, it feels very heavy to handle and in this extreme circuit event, there is an extremely high chance that the Twin Mill will end up on a major slippage or fall on the ramp because of some jerk doing big miscalculations on where he will launch his favorite hero car at. But no matter the risk, I want to do this for the honor of Hot Wheels and nothing's going to stop me from giving a proper sendoff to the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia.

Without further ado, here goes...

After so much mud, sweat, and gears later, I finally did it! I finally owned the HW Goliath with the hero car and man, looks like I don't want to do that thing again unless I need a much suitable fast car for this task.

So, I finally conquered some of the extreme tracks on the rest of Horizon Australia. In the main campaign, I took down the Goliath Circuit with the Centenario. In Blizzard Mountain, I won the Kingmaker to claim the Ford Focus RX from Gymkhana 9, and now, I have beaten the Hot Wheels Goliath with the Twin Mill. It's all in the heroes' line of duty; finish what they have started.

Now that I finished the extremes, what's next? Well, we got a lot of mess to clean this up after all these tough challenges because even though I braved through the toughest, the journey's not yet over because there are plenty of leftovers around Horizon Australia, Blizzard Mountain, and Thrilltopia that need to be cleaned. I guess it's all up to me now but if I have some impressions about the cars I'm driving, I'm free to do so, but in the meantime, the journey continues...

PokeMon The Movie: I Choose You!

It's been two decades since the TV anime adaptation of the PokeMon video game franchise was aired in TV Tokyo since the Spring of 1997 and to commemorate the anime series' 20th anniversary, this year's PokeMon film is a retelling of the original saga, which is named after the very first episode of the show, titled "Pokemon, I Choose You!"

PokeMon The Movie:
I Choose You!

Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You (日本名:劇場版ポケットモンスターキミにきめた!), revisits the beginning of an epic journey of Ash Ketchum (Satoshi) and his Pokemon partner Pikachu. Those who saw the first episode of the PokeMon TV series don't mean a darn thing to them but for those who didn't, it's about Ash who is finally old enough to begin his journey as a PokeMon trainer when suddenly, he was too late to get one of the first three PokeMons and instead, he gets an Electric-type Pikachu. Following their disastrous first impressions, the two realized it became the start of their blooming friendship.

Although this film is a retelling of the Indigo League saga, there has been some major changes happened to the tale to put a fresh new twist on the beginning of the tale and while this film features some familiar PokeMons such as Lucario, Piplup, and Ho-oh, as well as new ones such as Sun and Moon's Incineroar and the brand new mythical Pokemon Marshadow but more on that later on.

Because this is the epic retelling of Ash's first adventure as a PokeMon trainer, it's a welcoming feast for fans and newcomers alike and it doesn't matter if you know the anime series or not because while this film serves as a quick refresher like every anime compilation films do, this film is the ideal introduction to anyone who never watched the first PokeMon episode as well as the whole series. This is important work but for the 90's kids like us, it brings back memories of when we watch the anime show since childhood and this is one of the main reason why we love watching anime shows thanks to this. Whether if its catching PokeMon, battle against Gym Leaders, drive away Team Rocket's dastardly schemes to separate these two, or a nice stroll through new and exciting places, this film is by no means the best fragment of our childhood memories.

Although the retelling of the Indigo League saga is abruptly ruined by some cast changes and others because we want this film to retell just like what the anime series does, this film is one of the best reasons we are fans of Pokemon since two decades ago.

So, now that I explained everything about that film, time to talk about the brand new mythical Pokemon Marshadow and how you can get one. From now until the end of September, a movie ticket grants you a special code to obtain Marshadow for use in Pokemon Sun and Moon games. Capped at Level 50, Marshadow bears the Technician ability which boosts the power of moves with the power rate of 60 and below and features a signature move called Spectral Thief, which allows Marshadow to steal the opponent's stat changes while delivering massive damage to it. With the Marshadium Z crystal, Marshadow can unleash its signature Z-move called Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike. This is a wonderful Pokemon that bears Fighting-and-Ghost type, meaning it can cover up its weaknesses while unleashing some terrifying moves on hapless opponents.

My rating: 4.7 out of 5.

AlDub - Two Years on...

Photo: Official Eat Bulaga Facebook

It all began in the 16th of July, 2015, when Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza made her first impression with Alden Richards during the Problem Solving segment of Eat Bulaga via split screen and a few moments later, Kalyeserye was born much to the jubilee of the public, which became later known as the AlDub Nation.

As an AlDub Nation, named for the legion of AlDub fans from all corners of the globe, everyone forget about what's going on around here and they only focus on the AlDub antics in Eat Bulaga. Whether from their Dabarkads Pa More performance, the kidnappings, dates, treasure hunting, copycats, a visit to Enchanted Kingdom, post-war romance flashback, their Lenten Specials' performance, any AlDub moment you can think of, as well as their Philippine Arena performance since October 24th, 2015, the phenomenal love team has been shattering so many records, our heads are spinning endlessly.

It's not just their EB antics that the phenomenal love team are good at, it's the other stuff outside EB is what made them great. They appeared in two films such as My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore and last year's Imagine You and Me. After that, they once had a TV series of their own titled Destined To Be Yours. which lasted from March to May of this year. Easier done than said.

Now, here we are, two years later, and despite things getting uglier, our love for AlDub is still stronger than ever and when our minds still stuck over AlDub, we forget our worries and stay happy, no matter the odds.

Happy 2nd anniversary to AlDub and let's hope that forever stays FOREVER.
