BMW Concept i8 and BMW Concept i3

BMW Concept i8 and BMW Concept i3 previews the newest electric cars from BMW under the BMW i Brand, which provides zero emissions and good for the environment. Both the i8 and the i3 will be produced and on sale in the year 2013 worldwide.

The i3 is more of a city compact electric car while the i8 is an electric sportscar. Never realized that BMW renamed this concept from Vision EfficientDynamics Concept to BMW Concept i8.

They'll be making a world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.

Hungary meets the UNEXPECTED

We never knew with all the suspense happened at the Formula One, the Hungary GP is much more different than the past races. In Hungary, Jenson Button from McLaren-Mercedes gets his first win. S. Vettel placed 2nd place and Fernando Alonso placed 3rd. Never seen that thing coming right?

With all the commotion, Sebastian Vettel from RBR-Renault still leads at the Driver Standings at 234 points while Mark Webber from RBR-Renault still at 2nd place at 149 points and Lewis Hamilton from McLaren-Mercedes stays in 3rd place at 146 points. So far, Red Bull's still in the lead.

PGA Cars Inc., official Audi distributor in the Philippines, began its operations at the new Audi Global City showroom located at Taguig City. If that wasn't enough for them, PGA Cars launched the all new 2012 Audi A6 sedan as well. What a great way to start business at a new dealership!

The real beauty outshines all compacts

Back in 2007, the 21st Century Fiat 500 (Cinquecento) was released and the design really paid tribute to the Dante Giacosa's 1957 original rear-engined Fiat 500 and also inspired from the 2004 Fiat Trepiuno Concept car from the 74th Geneva Motor Show. It was the world's most trendiest compact cars because of its cute design, performance, value, and fuel economy. The model featured in Gran Turismo 5 is the Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS and it is known to be the flagship model of the Fiat 500 lineup.

The Fiat 500 outshines the night

This Fiat 500 Lounge is listed as a Premium Tier car and it can be obtainable for 23,300 Credits if your A-Spec or B-Spec Level is 1. It's not quite hard to obtain that kind of Italian casual compact car but let's look at how it goes; it was powered with a 1.2L 8-valve engine that produces 68HP/5500rpm of power and 75.22ft-lb/3000rpm of torque. Overall, the normal 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS weighs in 1010kg. In the hands of the owner, he/she can tune it to the maximum power of 263HP/7300rpm, 197ft-lb/6100rpm of torque, and weighs 858kg (853 with the added Carbon Fiber Hood). With that stats, it provides a go-kart like agility to the Fiat 500.

It will take moments to master the Nuova 500's potential but with a little practice, it will be your responsible partner on the racetracks. Above all else, it was a fun-to-drive compact car. Maybe drifting with the 500 is not a good idea because it might end up falling down the 500 or also ended up going in two wheels like I did. Well, it depends on the suspension settings but plan your suspension settings carefully!

Be sure to find the right settings for your 500! Timing is necessary to ease out the disadvantages and a little practice with the 500 goes a long long way. After all, the new Fiat 500 featured in GT5 really taste like the real-life new Fiat 500.

So, the SBS action drama, City Hunter, ended that week with a bang, made it the most successful Korean dramas aired in SBS. The ending was highly successful thanks to its high ratings because most of them got hooked all the way to the very end.

And to think that whoever says "What was the car used in City Hunter", well how many times I said, that car was the Hyundai Veloster, the hatchback coupe which was the first of Hyundai's new Premium Youth Lab sub-brand and it was limited up to 18,000 units in South Korea. Better don't ask that question again or else!

Anyway, there is a special interview with Lee Min Ho, about his progress between being a main character from City Hunter and his impressions on the new Hyundai Veloster. I'm sure he loved the Veloster because of such agility and style. We weren't surprised to see the progress of Lee Min Ho and the Hyundai Veloster all the way to the very end.

The debut of the BMW 1-Series M Coupe and the BMW 6-Series Cabrio's full model change really sparked BMW fans from the Philippines everywhere. With distributor Asian Carmakers behind this, we were surprised to see these two new stars arrived in our shores.

For power, we would recommend the new BMW 1-Series M Coupe but act fast because it's a limited edition model. This latest M car is powered with the new 3.0L 6-cylinder M TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 340HP of power, 450Nm of torque and 0-100kph in 4.9 seconds. It costs 5,540,000 Philippine Pesos.

For the grand-touring experience, we recommend seeing the BMW 6-Series Convertible F12. The new BMW F12 is available in two engine types such as the N55B30 3.0L L6 TwinPower TurboValvetronic engine for the 640i and a N63B44 4.4L TwinPower Turbo direct injection engine for the 650i. The BMW 640i Cabrio equipped with the N55B30 3.0L L6 TwinPower Turbo Valvetronic engine is equipped with the idling stop function courtesy of BMW EfficientDynamics. Both of them are powered with the 8-speed sports automatic gearbox. The 640i Cabrio's price is 8,780,000 Philippine Pesos while the 650i Cabrio's price starts at 10,780,000 Philippine Pesos.

GT5 Save Data Corrupted? What you should have do...

Nissan GT-R Spec V

A certain player asked me that his GT5 data's been corrupted. We don't know what was caused this but you know what, here's something that he should have do...

Next time, you should make a backup copy of your GT5 Save Data. First exit GT5, then select Saved Data Utility (PS3) on the Game section. Find the "GRAN TURISMO 5" save data and press the Triangle button. After that, select "Copy". At the select the destination, either your USB devices or your Online Storage (once if you're a Playstation Plus subscriber) are your best friends to backup your GT5 save data.

According to the GT5's in-game manual, a save data created when signed in to the PSN cannot be loaded to another PS3 unless the system is signed in to the same PSN account. Be aware when doing this.

It might be best to back-up your GT5 save file annually so when the data corruption strikes, you're fully prepared.

That's my advice...

Explorer EcoBoost

2011 Ford Explorer

It's finally here. For the 2012 Model Year, the Ford Explorer finally receives the turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost engine! The new 2.0L EcoBoost engine provides 240HP of power, 270lb-ft of torque, and fuel economy of 28MPG highway. It was more fuel efficient than the V6 variant! Unfortunately, it was available only in FF variants. It will be available in late summer 2011.

My verdict: Like what FGP said, the Explorer Ecoboost will be in the Philippines next year because the new Explorer V6 will be available first starting late 2011.
