Forza Motorsport (2023 game)

Cars, community, and creativity. These are the three pillars that made the Forza franchise one of the best racing games in the history of Xbox and with the arrival of an all-new Forza Motorsport, the world of motorsports has entered its new home; the Xbox Series line of consoles and Windows PCs.

Forza Motorsport (2023 game)
Forza Motorsport (2023 game)

Forza Motorsport is reborn for the Xbox Series line of consoles and Windows PCs and it's going to change the landscape of racing simulation games since the original one back in 2005. This is no longer the Forza Motorsport we all know. It's been turned.

The all-new Forza Motorsport features noticeably new ways and means to enjoy this racing game to the deepest, beginning with the solo-player Builders Cup. The Builders Cup is the ultimate challenge where you and your car will tackle the competition by tuning and racing to become the champion in various disciplines.

Pitting behind the wheel of over 500 drivable cars at launch such as the hero cars of the game; the first-ever Chevrolet Corvette C8 E-Ray and the #1 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R GTP-class racing machine, the all-new Forza Motorsport pushes you to the limit by driving and tuning your car to gain the upper hand. Morphing with RPG-like elements, players can level up their cars to unlock tuning parts and accessories in order to prepare for the next race.

Nicking the idea from a certain racing game from a bygone era, there are two ways to experience one of 20 completely rebuilt tracks from real-world circuits to original circuits. First is the practice race, where you will familiarize the track layout within a set number of laps. After taking some practice, you will head to the main race where you will engage its risk-reward system that allows you to win additional cash depending on which position you will start. As for the difficulty settings, it now depends on the AI level, fuel and tire conditions, and the race regulations that can penalize you for intended collision and going off-track. They can be adjustable before starting the race, giving you plenty of challenges to take on while never worrying about the assist settings.

The multiplayer system's evolved and is now stringent than ever because apart from the rule regulations, a grading system is implemented to encourage a safe and competitive racing experience. Any un-sportsmanship manner such as crashing into other players, going off-course, or quitting while in the middle of a race will result in degrading your safety rating and skill rating so behave or else.

Being a Forza game, the all-new Forza Motorsport features community-friendly features worth showing to the world such as sharing tuning setups, vinyl groups, liveries, photos, and even replays. You can even compete for the fastest times in Rivals events as well. With an assurance of post-launch content such as new cars and tracks, the all-new Forza Motorsport is going to be an ever-evolving game and the last thing you'll play on your Series X|S consoles.

The all-new Forza Motorsport showcased the new era of the Forza franchise with its revamped career mode, multiplayer, community-friendly features, and an ever-expanding lineup of vehicles and tracks post-launch. Make no mistake that whether you like it or not, it really is the new standard of Xbox racing games and in the case of the Xbox Series X|S era, this is the first and last thing you'll ever play in this generation.

Welcome to the new generation of Forza.

The Crew MOTORFEST

Ubisoft's hit racing game series, The Crew, returns and this time, the stage is set at one of the most beautiful places in the world; Hawaii. Say aloha to Motorfest!

The Crew Motorfest (PS5)
The Crew Motorfest (PS5)

The Crew Motorfest is the newest installment of Ubisoft's The Crew franchise where new and returning players set sail to Hawaii, which is of course a US state not covered in The Crew 2.

The Motorfest is a celebration of car culture for everyone and you're invited to take part in this high-octane extravaganza where speed and power are the biggest fun factor to this celebration. Players take part in this Hawaiian escapade by tackling through Motorfest-sanctioned playlists where each theme tackles a certain car culture or challenge. From 60 years of the Porsche 911 to 60 years of Lamborghini, from battling against a group of street racers with Japanese sports cars to becoming a drift king, from exploring Hawaii to tackling crazy challenges set up by Donut Media, and above all, conquering the Alpha Grand Prix, there's so much you can do in Motorfest.

The fun doesn't stop there because Motorfest features a wide variety of challenges to take on after winning playlists where you can unlock outfits and vanity items to personalize your rides. You can also take on weekly and monthly challenges to unlock special items unattainable through normal gameplay as well as big money and Legend Points which you can use to improve your abilities such as improved pay rate, better loot quality, improved nitro refill, improved ability to drive through water, and so on. It's an ever-evolving world out there so make the most out of it.

Motorfest features a wide variety of vehicles from new and returning favorites, especially specially customized cars. From the off-road-ready Ford Bronco, the timeless classic Shelby Cobra, the fast and furious JZA80 Toyota Supra, to the rampaging performance of the all-new Lamborghini Revuelto, there's no fighting which vehicle is the favorite. Just like TC2, the fun is not limited to cars because you can ride on motorcycles, powerboats, and planes, meaning you can fully explore Hawaii by land, air, and sea, whichever floats your boat. You can take advantage of the Fast Fav feature to switch various vehicles off the bat while on the go.

Almost all vehicles can be tuned and personalized to suit your fancies. In tuning terms, you can collect tuning parts by clearing race events, completing feats, or opening hidden treasure boxes. Depending on the rarity, some parts not only boost performances but also grant special attributes as well. In personalization terms, you can style your ride with some wheels, bumpers, and interior colors, or even slap it with liveries as well. Great if you want to rack some votes at the car show.

Also, TC2 players can import most but not all of their hard-earned car collection to Motorfest, which is essential because there are some challenges that require your imported cars to take part in.

Although this installment is not as big as TC2, Motorfest is proof that The Crew is here to stay, and with so many exciting surprises in store for this game, there's no doubt it's one of the most addicting racing games of 2023. Once you play with it, you'll get hooked not just by the wonders of Hawaii but by the motoring challenges you can't get enough of, more than enough to curate yourself some wonderful adventures.

Enjoy your stay at Motorfest and Aloha!
