2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Hollywood Casino 400

With 12 playoff contenders remaining, the fight for the final 8 is now on as the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continue with Hollywood Casino 400 Presented by ESPN Bet in Kansas Speedway.

As the green flag waved, the fight for the final 8 is officially on. The first stage saw Kyle Larson blow a right rear tire and crash on Lap 20. As William Byron won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Erik Jones spinning on Lap 99 followed by Daniel Hemric's Lap 145 disaster, a Lap 149 trouble for both John Hunter Nemechek and Justin Haley, and a Lap 158 disaster when Austin Cindric got spun following his clash with Kyle Busch. As Alex Bowman won Stage 2, the final stage saw Kyle Busch spinning on Lap 237 following his clash with Chase Briscoe followed by Todd Gilliand sent Carson Hocevar spinning on Lap 244.

Sadly, another non-playoff driver spoiled the playoff fight as Ross Chastain won the Hollywood Casino 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series.

The fight for the final 8 continues in Talladega Superspeedway for the YellaWood 500 this October 6th, 2024.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Bass Pro Shops Night Race

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continue with the Bass Pro Shops Night Race in Bristol. Who will make it to the Final 12? Who will be eliminated? It's time to find out who rises and who falls.

As the green flag waved, the first playoff elimination round is underway. The first stage saw Johh Hunter Nemechek spin with a flat tire on Lap 5. As Kyle Larson wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Harrison Burton behind the wall with a power steering issue on Lap 236 followed by Joey Logano spinning on Turn 2 during Lap 243. As Kyle Larson wins Stage 2, the final stage saw Corey LaJoie's accident on the backstretch after being hit by Josh Berry on Lap 329.

After a night in Bristol, Kyle Larson wins the Bass Pro Shops Night Race of the NASCAR Cup Series! Ty Gibbs, Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., and Harrison Burton are officially eliminated from the playoffs.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Go Bowling at The Glen

The fight for the Final 12 in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continues this weekend at Watkins Glen International in New York for the Go Bowling at The Glen. Joey Logano earned his spot in the playoffs at Atlanta. Who will be next to qualify?

As the green flag waved, Part 2 of 3 of the fight for the Final 12 in New York begins with a disaster when Kyle Busch spins in the inner loop after contact with Corey LaJoie. As Martin Truex Jr. won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Daniel Suarez spinning in turn 6 on Lap 38, and with Ross Chastain winning Stage 2, the final stage saw Denny Hamlin crash on Lap 47 following a NASCAR sandwich with Kyle Larson and Brad Keselowski, debris from Harrison Burton on Lap 80, and four laps later, disaster for Brad Keselowski and William Byron, triggering overtime.

Sadly, no playoff contender secured a spot in the playoffs after the Go Bowling at The Glen race. The winner was Chris Buescher, who is not a playoff contender.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Quaker State 400

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs are underway, with the first round kicking off at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Quaker State 400. The Final 16 drivers will clash to advance to the Final 12.

As the green flag waved, the first playoff match of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series has officially begun. The first stage saw a fiery incident on Lap 57 when Kyle Larson got loose and hit the outside wall, collecting Chase Briscoe into the mess. 

As Ryan Blaney wins Stage 1 under caution, Stage 2 gets even messy with the caution-triggering debris on Lap 115 followed by Justin Haley getting penalized for blocking and forcing Tyler Reddick below the double white line. 

As Austin Cindric wins Stage 2, the final stage saw John Hunter Nemechek spinning on Lap 176, a multi-car incident on Lap 206 that got Chris Buescher, Ryan Blaney, and Martin Truex Jr. involved, a sign falls off the fence onto the track on Lap 251, and a collision mess between Noah Gragson and playoff contender Harrison Burton on Lap 260 that triggered the overtime.

After a chaotic first fight for the playoffs, Joey Logano earned his spot in the Final 12 as he won the Quaker State 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The fight for the Final 12 continues with the Go Bowling at The Glen this September 15th, 2024.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Cook Out Southern 500

It's the last race of the regular season as the Cook Out Southern 500 race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series will decide who will enter the playoffs. Let's find out!

As the green flag waved at Darlington Raceway, the final race of the regular season began. As Kyle Larson won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Tyler Reddick get sick but couldn't take any medicine from his pit crew, followed by Todd Gilliand colliding with the wall on Lap 129, and Denny Hamlin making contact with William Byron on Lap 224. As Larson nabbed Stage 2, and Martin Truex Jr. was playoffs-bound, the final stage saw Carson Hocevar spinning on Lap 314. followed by a Lap 322 disaster for Chris Buescher and Todd Gilliand, and The Big One on Lap 344.

After a chaotic fight for the playoffs, Chase Briscoe wins the Cook Out Southern 500 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The list of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoff contenders is complete. Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, William Byron, Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Austin Cindric, Daniel Suarez, Alex Bowman, Chase Briscoe, Harrison Burton, Ty Gibbs, and Martin Truex Jr. are locked in for the fight to Phoenix.

The Round of 16 kicks off with the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway this September 8th, 2024.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Coke Zero Sugar 400

It's the penultimate race of the regular season as the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series returns to Daytona for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 where chaotic moments led to the unexpected ending no one saw it coming.

Shortly before the race began, it was announced that Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen, who made his name in NASCAR by winning the Chicago street race last season, is now officially on the roster for the 2025 season, representing the Trackhouse team.

Long story short but anyway, the race. As Josh Berry won Stage 1, Stage 2 witnessed The Big One on Lap 61 when Ross Chastain got turned in front of the field in 8th and triggered a multi-car mishap followed by Austin Cindric sent Kyle Larson spinning on Lap 78. As Joey Logano won Stage 2, the finale saw John Hunter Nemechek spinning, another Big One on Lap 153, and the red flag-triggering incident where Josh Berry flipped his car. As the overtime triggered, the unexpected happened.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - FireKeepers Casino 400

Michigan is the next stop for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series with the FireKeepers Casino 400 and this race replaced the carnage in Richmond with even more chaos.

After Ryan Blaney won Stage 1, the race was interrupted by a red flag due to inclement weather, and was forced to continue the next day. On Monday, the race continued with Todd Gilliland blowing a right-rear tire in turn 3 on Lap 107, followed by The Big One on Lap 115. Kyle Busch won Stage 2, and the climax came when Martin Truex Jr spun out on Lap 194, triggering overtime.

After the chaos in Michigan, Tyler Reddick wins the Firekeepers Casino 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The next race is Daytona for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on August 24, 2024. It's the penultimate battle before the playoffs.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Cook Out 400

The Olympics are over, and that can only mean one thing: NASCAR is back! The summer of NASCAR racing action continues in Richmond for the Cook Out 400.

As the green flag waved, NASCAR is back in business at Richmond. As Christopher Bell wins Stage 1, Daniel Suarez wins Stage 2. All is well until the climax that turns the tables for the drivers. Ryan Preece spun by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. with the race only having two laps to go, triggering the most dramatic overtime in NASCAR history.

In the final lap during overtime, Austin Dillon pushed away Joey Logano and shoved Denny Hamlin off to win the Cook Out 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series. That's NASCAR to you, folks.

The next race is at Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400 this August 18th, 2024.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Brickyard 400

NASCAR invades Indy with the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Defying the recent IT crisis, this race decides which NASCAR driver will have a chance to kiss the legendary brickyard.

Beginning with Stage 1, Chase Elliott got slapped with a pass-through penalty and forced to come down pit road. As Denny Hamlin won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw debris coming out from the #15 car followed by a series of disasters with the last got William Byron, AJ Allmendinger, and Harrison Burton involved. With Stage 2 going to Bubba Wallace, the final stage saw Martin Truex Jr. getting into the wall, a collision course for Josh Berry, a restart disaster that caught Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano in it, and a near-climax chaos that caught Daniel Hemric, Alex Bowman, and John Hunter Nemechek in it.

After the chaos-packed action in the Brickyard, Kyle Larson wins the Brickyard 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The next NASCAR race is at Richmond for the Cook Out 400 on August 11. It's a long break coming up for the Paris Olympics, but the summer racing action will resume next month. Stay tuned!

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - The Great American Getaway 400

The Tricky Triangle is up next on the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule. The Great American Getaway 400 Presented by VisitPA.com is set to take place at the treacherous Pocono Raceway. Will any driver be able to tame the chaos that seems to follow any race at Pocono?

The action in Pocono begins with Stage one saw Noah Gragson spinning and backing into the turn 1 wall on Lap 14. As Martin Truex Jr. wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Ross Chastain on Lap 52 sliding sideways in turn 3 and making hard contact with the right rear of the car, slowing him down and the caution is out. With Stage 2 going to Denny Hamlin, the final stage saw Todd Gilliland into the wall in turn 1 on Lap 115 after a mechanical failure in the right front on the front stretch.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Grant Park 165

NASCAR returns to the streets of Chicago for the Grant Park 165 and with last year's winner Shane Van Gisbergen back for more alongside a few special guest drivers, NASCAR goes "unbound" with this street race.

The first stage saw Corey LaJoie spin from the 29th in turn 11 exit and hit the wall bringing out the caution on Lap 17 and with rainfall on Chicago roads, Shane Van Gisbergen won the first stage. Lap 26 saw the whole Chicago race placed on Red Flag due to rainfall for 1 hour 43 minutes. As the race resumed on Lap 30, they were facing a time limit. Per NASCAR Rule Book Section 8.5.7.6.C, if this race cannot reach the advertised race distance, the race ends at 2120 hours Eastern Time. With the time limit in place, the drivers are going all out.

As the time limit was reached, Alex Bowman won the Grant Park 165 of the NASCAR Cup Series! At last, a real NASCAR driver won the Chicago Street Race!

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Ally 400

Nashville is the next stop for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series with the Ally 400, wrapping up the month of June with intense oval racing action at the heart of Music City.

Beginning with Denny Hamlin's pole position. Hamlin secured the pole position by setting the fastest lap during the qualifiers. His #11 Joe Gibbs Racing Camry led the field to the green flag. The race featured intense three-wide battles on the track with drivers jockeying for position. A sudden rainfall caused a delay during the race but thankfully, it didn't come to a premature end. The green flag was back out after the rain delay and the action resumed.

In the end, Joey Logano wins the Ally 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series! NASCAR races are full of unpredictable moments, and the Ally 400 was no exception!

The next race at the streets of Chicago, Illinois for the Grant Park 165 this July 7th.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - USA Today 301

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series rang out the first Sunday of Summer 2024 with the USA Today 301 race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire had a lot of wild moments. It started off with the green flag waving and quickly transitioned into Christopher Bell winning Stage 1. Stage 2 saw chaos unfold with Daniel Hemric spinning out followed by smoke spewing onto Alex Bowman’s car. As if that weren’t enough, Noah Gragson and Kyle Busch became involved in a wreck on Lap 154. Denny Hamlin then won Stage 2. The last stage saw a crash on Lap 194 due to Joey Logano’s locked tire. This was followed by a series of other wrecks. The race was put on pause due to rainfall, but when it started back up, Brad Keselowski spun and put the race into overtime. The excitement was endless!

Braving through the weather and the chaos involved in NHMS, Christopher Bell wins the USA TODAY 301 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

It was a wild race filled with crashes and other dramatic moments. We saw Christopher Bell take the lead in the first stage, and Denny Hamlin came out on top in the second stage. The last stage had yet another crash, and then the race was paused due to rain. Ultimately, Bell won the race. 

We’re looking forward to the next race at Nashville for the Ally 400 on June 30th.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Iowa Speedway for the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol. It's the first time a NASCAR Cup race was held in Iowa, the first of the 2024 season, and the drivers are going all-out.

As the green flag waved, the action in Iowa is underway. The first stage saw Christopher Bell nearly spun out in turn 2 at the start of the race, and then Corey LaJoie spun in Lap 4 after Carson Hocevar got loose and tagged Zane Smith, who tagged LaJoie. AJ Allmendinger also got into trouble on Lap 52, losing a tire and hitting the wall.

As Ryan Blaney won Stage 1, Stage 2 and the final stage had crashes aplenty. On Lap 80, Noah Gragson was nearly taken out by John Hunter Nemechek. Then, on Lap 182, Daniel Hemric hit the wall. The wild racing continued when Kyle Larson won Stage 2 and then sent Daniel Suarez into a spin on Lap 220, which was followed by Denny Hamlin crashing into Larson. After that, Chris Buescher was the victim of a blown tire that had him hit the wall on Lap 260, and Kyle Busch also hit the wall on Lap 269.

After a wild Father's Day race night in Iowa, Ryan Blaney wins the Iowa Corn 350 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Toyota/Save Mart 350

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Sonoma Raceway for another road course action of the season with the Toyota/Save Mart 350.

As the green flag waved, the action in Sonoma began with the first stage where Denny Hamlin's engine failure led to an oil spill on Lap 4. Martin Truex Jr went off track in turn 2 on Lap 8, William Byron went to the pits over a left rear tire,  Ty Gibbs crashed to the wall because of a flat right rear tire, and a Lap 19 disaster.

As Tyler Reddick wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw a Lap 35 chain reaction triggered by Erik Jones pushing Josh Berry out of control. As Chris Buescher wins Stage 2, the last stage saw trouble for Michael McDowell as he lost a tire in Lap 105, and a Final Lap disaster for MTJ as he ran out of fuel.

After a wild wild race day in Sonoma, Kyle Larson wins the Toyota/Save Mart 350 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The next race is at Iowa Speedway for the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol this June 16th.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Enjoy Illinois 300

Summer racing season in NASCAR has commenced as the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series continues in the World Wide Technology Raceway for the Enjoy Illinois 300.

As the green flag waved, 300 miles of oval racing action signaled the start of the NASCAR summer season. In Stage 1, Bubba Wallace and Brad Keselowski made contact. At the same time, John Hunter Nemechek and Cody Ware collided and spun two laps later, followed by a Lap 18 disaster for Cody Ware and Derek Kraus, and a suspected loose wheel that forced Brad Keselowski to pit on Lap 20. 

As Christopher Bell won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw  Martin Truex Jr. lose his left rear tire on Lap 108, Josh Berry get into the wall on Lap 113, and Kyle Larson get loose in turn 1 under Kyle Busch.

With Stage 2 in Christopher Bell's bag, the final stage witnessed the most dramatic NASCAR moment of the season as Ryan Blaney's race to victory crumbled when he ran out of gas right before the moment the final lap began.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Coca-Cola 600

The eve before Memorial Day, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Charlotte Motor Speedway for the biggest oval racing event of the season, the Coca-Cola 600. 

As Kyle Larson is busy with his Indy 500 campaign, his reserve driver, Justin Allgaier, takes over the wheel of the #5 Chevrolet Camaro stock car until he comes back, which will be a long one due to the 4-hour weather delay there.

After the traditional pre-race ceremony saluting the troops, the Memorial Day racing event in the NASCAR calendar is on. The first stage saw a slow start for Larson's reserve driver Allgaier but clawed through the top. As William Byron won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw disaster for Ryan Blaney as he banged through the wall followed by word from Hendrick Motorsports saying Kyle Larson was en route to Charlotte after finishing 18th at the Indy 500. As Noah Gragson slides out of the race, Christopher Bell wins Stage 2.

As the race paused for a Memorial Day tradition, Stage 3 kicked off until precipitation grounded the race to a halt. As Kyle Larson arrived and the track-drying commenced, organizers said it would take a long time to get it dried up.

Due to inclement weather, high humidity, and the likelihood of resuming the race at 0100 hours local time with the track-drying process, the race has ground to a premature end. Christopher Bell, currently leading the race, wins the Coca-Cola 600.

The next race is at World Wide Technology Raceway for the Enjoy Illinois 300 this June 2.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - NASCAR All-Star Race

One million dollars. The prize money only the winner of this year's NASCAR All-Star Race will get as drivers gathered at the legendary North Wilkesboro track for the million-dollar race.

The million-dollar race in North Wilkesboro saw Kyle Busch hitting Ricky Stenhouse Jr. into the wall in turn 1 on Lap 2, followed by a collision between Joey Logano and Bubba Wallace in Lap 88, and Kyle Busch sent Ty Gibbs spinning on Lap 118.

Joey Logano wins the million-dollar NASCAR All-Star Race in North Wilkesboro but his victory was overshadowed by a post-race brawl between Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

The next race is the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26, the same day as the Indy 500.

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - Goodyear 400

"Are you not entertained?" That is the question the adverts promoting the Goodyear 400 of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series in Darlington say as this next race will be an entertaining spectacle for NASCAR fans everywhere.

As the green flag waved, the action in Darlington was on. As Kyle Larson dominated Stage 1, Stage 2 saw John Hunter Nemechek spinning at turn 4 on Lap 121, a Lap 129 restart disaster, and a spin by Zane Smith in Lap 163. With Stage 2 belonging to Tyler Reddick, the final stage saw Kyle Busch clipping the wall, and spin by Kyle Larson.

As Chris Buescher and Tyler Reddick got involved in post-race quarreling, Brad Keselowski won the Goodyear 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

2024 NASCAR Cup Series - AdventHealth 400

As Miami got stuffed with the F1 race, it was time to head 1530 miles to Kansas City for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series with the AdventHealth 400 in Kansas Speedway.

After a lengthy delay, the green flag was waved and the action in Kansas was on. As Denny Hamlin won Stage 1, Chris Buescher won Stage 2, and the final stage saw Jimmie Johnson crash into the outside wall on Lap 176, triggering a chain reaction that caught Corey LaJoie, Austin Hill, and three others, followed by Harrison Burton spinning on the backstretch on Lap 192, and spin by Kyle Busch on Lap 261.

In the final lap, Kyle Larson and Chris Buescher clashed for the win and it ended on a dead heat at a rate of 0.001 seconds, the closest in NASCAR history. After the closest look at the closest NASCAR photo finish, it's official. Kyle Larson wins the AdventHealth400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The next race is at Darlington Raceway for the Goodyear 400 this May 12.
