WRC 2024: Rallye Monte-Carlo

The 2024 World Rally Championship has officially begun with the Rally Monte-Carlo. With tactical twists to the points structure, driver line-up shuffles, and more, this season opener is a thriller from start to finish.

As Ott Tanak topped the shakedown on his return to being a Hyundai driver, Elfyn Evans defied the freezing odds to score his lead until his drama with Sebastien Ogier gave Thierry Neuville, a Hyundai driver, a chance to slip into the lead.

In the end, Thierry Neuville drew first blood with his 20th WRC career win at the rate of 3:09.30.9, 16.1 seconds ahead of Ogier. Elfyn Evans completes the podium with a third-place finish.

The next event is the Rally Sweden from the 15th to the 18th of February, 2024.

ABB FIA Formula E S10 - Diriyah ePrix

Despite worsening clashes in the Middle East, that didn't stop the ABB Formula E from hosting a race in Saudi Arabia as its 10th-anniversary celebration continues in the streets of Riyadh for its two-parter.

In the first part of the Diriyah ePrix, Andretti's Jake Dennis defeated two-time champion Jean-Eric Vergne on a race toward victory lane while Nick Cassidy of Jaguar finished 3rd. In the final part, meanwhile, Cassidy steered his way toward his first win as a Jaguar driver. At the same time, Robin Frijns of Envision finished 2nd and Oliver Rowland of Nissan completed the podium with his third-place finish.

The next race will be in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on March 16th, 2024.

ABB FIA Formula E S10 - Mexico City ePrix

The ABB FIA Formula E's 10th-anniversary celebration has begun with the Mexico ePrix, the opening salvo of the tenth season.

Just before the first race of Formula E's 10th-anniversary celebration kicked off, word from the ERT was that Sergio Settecama pulled out from the grid due to a technical issue. As the season opener kicked off, Pascal Wehrlein stormed in while Robin Frijns collided with the wall, marking his second DNF at Mexico City for the Envision Racing driver. As the race restarts, Wehrlein maintains his lead while Sebastien Buemi and Nick Cassidy are hunting him.

After a 35-lap opening salvo, Pascal Wehrlein drew first blood by winning the Mexico ePrix while Buemi finished 2nd and Cassidy finished 3rd.

The next race will be the two-part Diriyah ePrix on January 26-27.

Extreme E S3 - Copper X Prix

The third season of EXTREME E concludes in Chile for the Copper X Prix. With Acciona Sainz and RXR now three points apart, the last two races will determine which team gets the title.

The first part saw the RXR team extend their title fight after winning the race while Acciona Sainz finished 2nd and X44 Vida Carbon finished 3rd. In the season's final race, Veloce Racing scored its third race win while RXR finished 2nd and X44 Vida Carbon finished 3rd.

As EXTREME E Season 3 wrapped up, the RXR team of Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky and Johan Kristoffersson crowned EXTREME E's first two-time champions.

Congratulations to RXR for their second EXTREME E title, and this concludes the third season of EXTREME E.

F1 2023: Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The F1 2023 season ends in Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina for the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Everything will be set to stone after the end of this exciting season where champion Max Verstappen delivered historic results from the beginning to the very end.

As the lights went off, the final 58 laps of the season kicked off with Max Verstappen leading while Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris are hunting him down and the other drivers behind them are going all-out as the opportunity arises. As the climax drew near, Lap 51 saw Sergio Perez get slapped with a five-second penalty for the contact with Lando Norris on Lap 47. So much for his effort.

The F1 2023 season ends with Max Verstappen winning the season finale in Abu Dhabi, ending the season with a historic 19th win. Due to Perez's five-second penalty, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Mercedes' George Russell got promoted to 2nd and 3rd.

19 wins per season, this is a historic record Max Verstappen set and it's officially set to stone as well as his third championship title. Red Bull's constructors championship title is also set in stone as well.

2023 Repco Supercars Championship - VAILO Adelaide 500

Who will win the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship? The answer is revealed in the season finale, the VAILO Adelaide 500, the final race weekend for the new Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro Supercars machines to shine as Brodie Kostecki is gunning for his championship title and Shane Van Gisbergen concludes his part-time Supercars campaign.

The first part saw Cam Waters score a win while David Reynolds finished 2nd and Thomas Randle finished 3rd. In the final race of the season, meanwhile, following Shane Van Gisbergen's farewell party ended in a DNF disaster, Matt Payne scored his first Supercars win while Broc Feeney finished 2nd and David Reynolds finished 3rd.

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship concludes with Brodie Kostecki crowned the champion while the team he represented, Erebus, nailed its double championship win.

WRC 2023: FORUM8 Rally Japan

The 2023 World Rally Championship returns to Japan for the season finale, the FORUM8 Rally Japan. All bets are off as the winners are going to be set to stone in this grueling finale set at the Land of the Rising Sun.

As Hyundai's Thierry Neuville performed great results at the Shakedown, he surged into the early lead while hometown hero Takamoto Katsuta, Dani Sordo, and Adrien Fourmaux faced disaster in the opening stages. As the rainy conditions took a toll on the competitors, Toyota Gazoo Racing's Elfyn Evans gave him the chance to bring Toyota's win to its home turf.

In the end, Elfyn Evans won the season finale at the rate of 3:32:08.8, 1:17.7 quicker than second placer Sebastien Ogier, while Kalle Rovanpera's world champion status was set to stone after finishing 3rd. It's a 1-2-3 finish for Toyota Gazoo Racing for the first time on its home turf.

With the 2023 season finished, Kalle Rovanpera's world champion title as well as Toyota Gazoo Racing's team champion title have been officially set in stone.

This concludes the 2023 World Rally Championship.

F1 2023: Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix

For the first time in Formula 1 history, they've held a Las Vegas race that serves as the penultimate round of the F1 23 season. No drivers are prepared for the twists and turns behind the glitz and glamour Sin City possesses.

As the lights went off, the first Formula 1 race at the streets of Las Vegas kicked off with an opening contact at turn 1 as Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, and Valtteri Bottas got impacted and dropped to the back of the grid. Meanwhile, in Lap 4, Lando Norris is out of the race following a crash and gets hospitalized for evaluation, although Norris says "I'm okay" after the crash.

Lap 7 restart, Max Verstappen leads but got slapped with a five-second time penalty for pushing Charles Leclerc off the track at the start of the Grand Prix. Come Lap 16, Charles Leclerc storms through the lead from Verstappen while a lap later, Lewis Hamilton got a punctured tire and Oscar Piastri sustained damage to his car. Lap 25 saw George Russell's front wing sustained damage following a hit by Verstappen and a safety car was triggered on Lap 27 while Leclerc remains in the lead.

As Leclerc maintains his lead at the Lap 29 restart, Piastri storms to third place while Sergio Perez is hunting Leclerc down for the top spot. As Perez leads at Lap 33, the two Alpine drivers went neck-and-neck while Leclerc retakes Perez's lead at Lap 36, and Verstappen storms to 2nd place, only to outrun Leclerc a lap later.

As the end drew near and with Nico Hulkenberg and Yuki Tsunoda thrown in the towel due to mechanical failures, it became an anti-climactic fight to the finish as Leclerc pulled a late surge to P2 in the final lap from Perez.

Max Verstappen wins the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix followed by Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez. History has been rewritten again for Verstappen with his 18th win of the season.

FIA World RX 2023: World RX of Hong Kong

Who will win the 2023 FIA World Rallycross Championship? The first-ever World RX of Hong Kong is the season finale that will decide once and for all who will be crowned this year's champion. Let's find out.

In the first part, Kevin Hansen became the first World RX driver to win the first-ever World RX of Hong Kong while Niclas Gronholm finished 2nd and Timo Scheider finished 3rd. In the final part, meanwhile, Johan Kristofferson is the winner while Ole Christian Veiby finished 2nd and Patrick O'Donovan finished 3rd.

With the 2023 FIA World Rallycross Championship officially over, Johan Kristofferson is crowned this season's champion having won five out of the seven races this season.

The 2023 season was shortened to seven races due to the fire at Brands Hatch last July that saw most of the Lancia Delta RX machines incinerated, causing a near-four-month void, but despite the worst, it did end according to plan with the first-ever World RX of Hong Kong that crowned Kristofferson the champion.

F1 2023: Rolex Grande Prêmio de São Paulo

The F1 2023 season continues with the Rolex Grande Prêmio de São Paulo at the Autodromo de Interlagos and Max Verstappen's history revisionism continues.

Charles Leclerc crashed in the middle of a formation lap because of hydraulic failure, becoming the first to retire even before the race began. As the race begins, Kevin Magnussen slips and crashes at Sector 1 with Alex Albon and gets caught in the opening accident as well. Lap 4 restart, Max Verstappen storms ahead while the competition fights back, especially McLaren's Lando Norris. Come Lap 18, Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez are fighting for 4th place.

Halfway through the race, Carlos Sainz managed to slip through the Mercedes sandwich and became 6th in Lap 43, only to advance further to 4th as the laps progressed. As the end drew near, Max Verstappen reclaimed his lead from Lando Norris and managed to stay ahead until the very end.

Max Verstappen's recent victory marked his 17th win of this season while Lando Norris finished 2nd and Fernando Alonso finished 3rd.

The next race of the F1 23 season will be the first-ever Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix this November 18.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series Championship

The clocks fell back, the crowds gathered, and the stage was set. NASCAR's 75th anniversary celebration has officially ended with the final race of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series at Phoenix Raceway. The final race of the season will mark Kevin Harvick's final NASCAR race ahead of retirement.

With Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson, and William Byron ready to settle the scores in the finale, who will be crowned this season's champion?

Beginning with the first stage, William Byron is making an early lead over Kevin Harvick while Ryan Blaney, while at 10th place, plans some bold moves ahead. As William Byron won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Kevin Harvick charging through the lead while Christopher Bell's championship hopes ended in shambles due to mechanical failures and Ross Chastain shocked the crowd by taking the lead. As Chris Buescher wins Stage 2, the finale is nothing more of an upset for the three remaining title fighters as Ross Chastain's lead did make them look easy. Even a caution-triggering spin by the #8 didn't help them stop the #1 car.

Ross Chastain spoiled the finale with a win but with Ryan Blaney leading the Championship 4 title bout, the #12 is officially the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion.

Chastain's upset win, Blaney crowned champion, and mission complete for Kevin Harvick's final NASCAR campaign. What a finale it is.

2023 CJ LOGISTICS SUPERRACE CHAMPIONSHIP FINALE

The 2023 CJ LOGISTICS SUPERRACE CHAMPIONSHIP returns to Yongin Everland Speedway for the two-part season finale and with Lee Chanjoon leading the driver's championship after winning three out of six races, will he be able to grab the title? Let's find out.

In the first part, Ecsta Racing's Lee Changwook took the win while Vollgas' Jeong Eui-Cheol finished in 2nd and Seohan GP's Kim Jung-gun finished 3rd. In the final part, meanwhile, Vollgas' Kim Jaehyun is the winner while Ecsta Racing completes the podium with Lee Changwook finishing in 2nd and Lee Chanjoon finishing 3rd.

With the 2023 season officially over, Lee Chanjoon is officially Superrace's youngest champion at the age of 21, beating the record set by Kim Jong-gyeom in the 2018 season at age 27. The Ecsta Racing team is crowned this season's team champions while Nexen Tire is officially this season's tire champions.

This concludes the 2023 CJ LOGISTICS SUPERRACE CHAMPIONSHIP. Expect a bigger and better SUPERRACE season next year with GT4-class racing making its South Korean debut.

Autobacs Super GT 2023 Series FINAL

The Autobacs Super GT 2023 Series concludes in Mobility Resort Motegi (formerly Twin Ring Motegi) for the season finale and the final race marks the end of the NC1 NSX Super GT500-class racing machines as they're set to be replaced by the Honda Civic Type R FL5-based machines for the 2024 season.

The final 63 laps of the season are packed with intense overtakes and on-track drama for the drivers making their last spurt to this season's endgame.

With the season finale ended, the #36 au TOM'S GR Supra won the season finale, cementing its status as the Super GT 2023 Series Champion, Meanwhile, the #23 MOTUL AUTECH Z finished 2nd, and the #17 Astemo NSX-GT bids farewell to the NSX-GT machines with a third-place finish. Not the fitting send-off to the NC1 NSX-GT machines as expected but it's enough.

Meanwhile, in the GT300 class, the #88 JLOC Lamborghini GT3 wins while the #65 LEON PYRAMID AMG finished 2nd and the #6 DOBOT Audi R8 LMS finished 3rd. However, the GT300 champion goes to the #52 Saitama Toyopet GB GR Supra GT.

FIA WEC S11 - 8 Hours of Bahrain

The 11th season of the FIA World Endurance Championship concludes with the 8 Hours of Bahrain and this race marks the end of the LMGTE AM class before the switch to GT3 class this season. This is the finale worth placing in the history books as Toyota and Ferrari lash at each other to determine which of their hypercars will be crowned this season's world champion.

After a dramatic 8-hour finale that rocked the motoring world, Toyota Gazoo Racing pulled a 1-2 finishing blow with the #8 GR010 the winner and the #7 finished 2nd, sealing Toyota Gazoo Racing's status as the world champions in the Hypercar class with Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryo Hirakawa taking home the gold. The #41 Team WRT wins the LMP2 class and as a send-off to the LMGTE AM Class, the all-female Iron Dames nailed their first WEC win with their #85 Porsche 911 car.

As the #8 Toyota Gazoo Racing cemented its world champion status, the #41 Team WRT is crowned the LMP2 champion with Louis Deletraz, Robert Kubicka, and Rui Andrade behind the wheel. The #33 Corvette Racing is officially the final LMGTE AM Class champion with Ben Keating, Nico Varrone, and Nicky Catsburg behind the wheel.

F1 2023: Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico

The F1 2023 season continues with the Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico and the three-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen is rewriting history yet again.

As the lights went off, the action in Mexico was on with Sergio Perez's attack on Charles Leclerc backfiring when his car went flying off the track during the opener. As Lewis Hamilton makes bold moves in Lap 11, so does Verstappen's post-Lap 20 pit stop.  However, come Lap 33, Kevin Magnussen badly crashed the car and the red flag was triggered, temporarily halting the race.

As the race restarts, Lap 49 saw disaster for Yuki Tsunoda following contact with Oscar Piastri at Sector 1 followed by Valtteri Bottas sending Lance Stroll spinning as the race nears its end.

Max Verstappen's recent victory marked his 16th win of this season, eclipsing his previous season record, while Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc saw redemption from their USGP disqualification by finishing 2nd and 3rd.

The next race will be at Interlagos for the Rolex Grande Prêmio de São Paulo this November 5.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series - Xfinity 500

At last, the fight for the Championship 4 concludes with the penultimate race of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series, the Xfinity 500 held at Martinsville Speedway.

As the green flag waved, the final fight for the Championship 4 has begun. Beginning with Stage 1, Martin Truex Jr. has an early advantage followed by Denny Hamlin taking over the lead, and an accident in front of the race leaders. As Hamlin won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Ryan Blaney slipping through the lead while MTJ got penalized for going to the pits too quick. With Blaney taking Stage 2, the final stage is now a do-or-die match for the remaining playoff contenders fighting for the Championship 4, whatever it takes.

WRC 2023 - Central European Rally

The 2023 World Rally Championship continues with the first-ever Central European Rally which spans across Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. With Kalle Rovanperä leading 31 points ahead of Elfyn Evans, the question now is, which of these two will win the title?

As Thierry Neuville delivered promising results at the Shakedown as well as the opening stages, Kalle Rovanperä is charging through his title hopes following a crash from Elfyn Evans that ended his hopes for a title, despite a major setback that cost Rovanperä's lead to Neuville.

With Thierry Neuville winning the Central European Rally, Kalle Rovanperä, who finished 2nd, was crowned the WRC champion for the second time. Ott Tanak completes the podium by finishing third.

2023 Repco Supercars Championship - Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500

The streets of Surfers Paradise became the penultimate stop for the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, the ideal battleground for the new Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro Supercars to flex their muscles in this no-holds-barred street race.

The first part of this intensely packed Supercars street race saw Cam Waters emerging victorious while Shane Van Gisbergen recorded his 500th podium finish with his second-place finish and David Reynolds finished 3rd. In the final part, David Reynolds in his #26 Penrite Racing Ford Mustang fended off Erebus driver Brodie Kostecki for the win while Waters finished 3rd.

After Surfers Paradise, Brodie Kostecki leads with 2696 points while Broc Feeney is in 2nd with 2192 points, and Shane Van Gisbergen is in 3rd with 2565. The results are too close to call.

F1 2023: Lenovo United States Grand Prix

Max Verstappen's officially the three-time Formula 1 world champion but with five races left this season, it's everybody's game now as the F1 2023 season continues with the Lenovo United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.

As the lights went off, the action in Texas was on with Lando Norris snatching Verstappen's lead, while the two Ferrari drivers and Lewis Hamilton making moves. However, come Lap 7, Esteban Ocon threw in the towel following a collision with another car that damaged the front wing while Oscar Piastri retired three laps later following mechanical issues. 

Halfway through the race, Norris and Verstappen are clashing for the lead, only to go by separate ways for pit stops, giving Lewis Hamilton the charge through the lead for a brief number of laps before Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, and Lando Norris got him through on Lap 39.

After an intense Texas campaign, Max Verstappen won the US Grand Prix. This marks Verstappen's 50th career win in F1 history and he's a win short of Alain Prost by all-time record standards. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton stripped off his 2nd-place finish due to a technical breach and therefore handed it over to third-place finisher Lando Norris of McLaren while Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz got promoted to 3rd place while his teammate Charles Leclerc got disqualified as well due to technical breaches.

The next race of the F1 23 season will be the Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico this October 29th.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series - 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1

The battle for the Championship 4 is on as the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Homestead-Miami for the 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1. No, this isn't about the fight for the Championship 4, this race is to commemorate Kevin Harvick's final NASCAR campaign as he's set to retire after the 2023 season.

As the green flag waved, the heat is on with the first stage saw some clashes between drivers and a collision spin by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. As Kyle Larson wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Ryan Blaney spoiling the party for the lead, and the finale saw Larson hitting the barriers at the pit entrance followed by the backstretch disaster, a heartbreak for Hamlin and MTJ and the fight for the Championship 4 spot.

After an intense Miami heat, Christopher Bell wins the 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1 of the NASCAR Cup Series! His spot at the Championship 4's been sealed.

There are three spots left so the fight for the Championship 4 continues this Sunday at October 29th with the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway.
