DTM 2024: Oschersleben

2024 marks the DTM's 40th anniversary and the celebration begins with a two-part season opener in Oschersleben.

For the 2024 season, McLaren enters the fray with the 720S GT3 EVO, making it the second British carmaker to challenge the DTM since Aston Martin's short-lived campaign with the now-defunct R-Motorsport.

With the world's best drivers and GT3 machines assembled, DTM's 40th anniversary celebration has officially begun.

In the first part, Emil Frey driver Jack Aitken drew first blood for the 2024 season with a win against SSR's Mirko Bortolotti, and ABT Sportsline's Ricardo Feller. In the latter part, meanwhile, Luca Engstler pinned down two Mercedes-AMG GT3 drivers Maro Engel and Luca Stolz for the win.

The next event will be in Dekra Lausitzring this May 23-26.
