Driving Music (What is the name of the song on car commercial?) Vol. 38

Okay, my blog's receiving some more attacks from cyber-assassins or those petrolheads who love car commercial musics. Multiple reports saying that they attacked my blog with words such as "infiniti jx commercial music", "acura ilx commercial song", and so on....

You've been warned. If you keep messing this up, you'll be getting a warning that goes like this...

Which means, YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT IN GOOD STANDING! This is what happened to me when I put some car commercial musics on my slideshow of cars from a certain car show. If you keep doing that, you'll be getting a strike and three strikes, you're out. Better stop asking what is the music of a new car commercial or you'll get a strike for doing that. In general YouTube rule, a strike will worn out once 6 months have elapsed.

Instead of getting yourself a strike, why not enjoy these another set of five Driving Musics (Car Commercial Songs) to enjoy before you get a strike? Here comes....

5) A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum - from the Nissan Slivia S13 Japanese Commercial

4) AQUARIUM from The Carnival of The Animals by Kryzler & Kompany - from the Nissan Silvia S13 Japanese Commercial

1) Say I Wanna Know by Nick Waterhouse - from the Acura ILX "Airport" TV Commercial

...and there we are. Another set of Five Driving Musics to enjoy so if you please, stop asking me what is the song from a new car commercial or else YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT IN GOOD STANDING, okay? All you have to do is post your comments below, simple as that or email me to leopaul_delr@hotmail.com

2013 Toyota Corolla meets Shun Oguri on this TV commercial

2013 Toyota Corolla Axio

2013 Toyota Corolla Fielder

What you're looking here is when the 2013 Toyota Corolla range meets actor Shun Oguri on this latest TV commercial. Yep. Shun Oguri does double roles on this TV commercial. For the Corolla Axio, Shun Oguri is a bit more of a business man but for the Corolla Fielder, Shun Oguri is a bit more of an adventurer, a fitting take on these two models because they suit well on these situations. The Axio is made for city driving while the Fielder is a car suited for adventurers who are looking for adventures.

Check out these TV spots with Shun Oguri and the 2013 Toyota Corolla range

Mercedes C63 Black - SOLD OUT!

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series

If you're itching to have the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, then you're out of luck because according to reports coming in from Europe, the German automaker has sold out every last example of the C63 AMG Black Series coupe.

Mercedes-Benz limits production of the C63 AMG Black up to 650 units but with high demand, it was extended to 800 units, and all of them bought one of these.

The C63 AMG Black Series is officially sold out. Sorry.

Acura ILX

Acura's new compact sedan, the ILX, is actually seems to be a decent competitor to the Buick Verano but to me it seems to be somewhat a bit too wrong because when you drive it, it feels like it would become as boring as hell when it comes to your driving pleasure. Underneath, the ILX uses a platform from derived from the Honda Civic, which is now on its ninth-generation that Japan never sold one. So, how can I care about Acura's affordable sedan in North America?

2013 Acura ILX

Jon Ikeda, head of the Acura Design Studio, said that first-time luxury buyers tend to place a high value on exterior styling, affordability and environmental issues, and that's what they have created with the new Acura ILX. Sadly for me, this is more of a car targeted to senior people because the design's a bit too boring like most Acuras. It appears that this is not the kind of car targeted for those who want to mix business with pleasure and I understand that.

2013 Acura ILX interior

Inside, you'll expect typical Acura interior on the new ILX but you can expect new, high-value features including a standard Keyless Access System with smart entry and pushbutton start, along with Pandora® internet radio interface and SMS text message function for smart connectivity with the world. If you go for the Premium Package, you could expect a host of luxury features such as leather seating surfaces, heated front seats, an upgraded 360 watt stereo system, a rear view camera and an Active Sound Cancellation system. Sounds juicy but it'll may cost you.

If you're a techie, the Technology Package best served with a Panasonic-derived, Grammy-award winning ELS Surround Premium Audio for the best sound experience, sort of. Also on this package is AcuraLink Satellite Communication System, Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition, AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting, and AcuraLink Real-Time Weather with radar image maps. It all comes with this 60GB HDD navigation system. But that's enough. Time to talk about the performance...

Expect a 2.0L and a 2.4L petrol engine available on the new ILX. First up, the Chain drive SOHC i-VTEC 16-valve 2.0L engine produces 150HP of power, 140lb-ft of torque, EPA Est. MPG of 28 combined and mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission with Sequential SportShift paddle shifters and Shift Hold Control. Then, the Chain drive DOHC i-VTEC 16-valve 2.4L engine produces 201HP of power, 170lb-ft of torque, EPA Est. MPG of 25 combined and mated with a Close-ratio 6-speed MT with magnesium case.

ILX Hybrid

The Acura ILX Hybrid is the first hybrid car offered on the Acura lineup. It makes use of a 1.5-liter inline engine and an Integrated Motor Assist electric motor. Paired with a Continuously variable with paddle shifters, the Acura ILX 1.5L Hybrid will deliver an EPA estimated city/highway fuel economy rating of 35/38 mpg. Simple as that.

Available colors are Amber Brownstone, Bellanova White Pearl, Crimson Garnet, Crystal Black Pearl, Fathom Blue Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic, and Silver Moon.

My comment:

With the pricing of just $25,900 for the ILX 5-Speed Automatic, what I'm looking here that the all new Acura ILX is $3,315 expensive than last year's Buick Verano so what do you get for a car that is made in Greensburg, Indiana but turned out to be over three thousand dollars more than the car that was made in Orion Township, Michigan? I believe it's nothing. Nothing at all. I would rather pick the Buick Verano because...2 Year Lease Offer Includes 2 Years of SiriusXM Radio. The ILX doesn't have that.

Toyota 86 makes TV appearance on 6th Toyota DORAEMON ReBORN commercial!

TOYOTA 86 starred in the 6th Toyota DORAEMON commercial!

As suspected, the TOYOTA 86 (GT86 to Europe and Scion FR-S to the North Americans) made its first TV appearance via the 6th Toyota DORAEMON ReBORN commercial starring actor Jean Reno as Doraemon, Satoshi Tsumabuki as Nobita, idol Tomohisa Yamashita as Suneo, and MMA fighter Naoya Ogawa as Gian.

You wouldn't expected to see a TOYOTA 86 appeared on Japanese televisions, right? That was the first! That was the first time to see the TOYOTA 86 on Japanese televisions!

The DEADLY 720 from Top Gear Festival in South Africa

During Father's Day weekend in Durban, South Africa, TOP GEAR FESTIVAL kicked in with the ultimate stunt that is highly impossible to attempt and that is the DEADLY 720.

Here's the article from TopGear.com:

Top Gear break a world record!
Yes, for once something we’ve done has gone right: the first ever double loop the loop in history…

Posted by: Our Man in South Africa , 16 June 2012 Back to Car News
Avid TopGear.commers will have noted a foolhardy boast appearing on the site earlier this week. During our Top Gear Live show in South Africa this weekend, we said, we're going to break a world record. Specifically, be the first people in the world, ever, to do a double loop the loop in a car.

Those familiar with the world of Top Gear no doubt assumed the whole thing would be a catastrophic failure, ending in smoke, fire and recrimination.

Jeremy was suitably impressed: “It was quite remarkable. As anyone who has seen Top Gear either live or on TV will know, we are much more famous for mucking about and breaking other things like caravans – certainly not for breaking world records! I’m just glad no one asked me to do it… ”

“We’ve pulled off some pretty outrageous stunts in the past but this was by far the most audacious yet,” Top Gear Live’s Creative Director, Rowland French, said: “We were all holding our breaths as the buggy approached the first loop knowing that there were virtually no margins for error – not least as we’d tried this stunt three times pre-event practice and failed on all three attempts. The maths, though, said it was possible to twice defy gravity… but only if we got everything exactly right. Thankfully, we proved our meticulous calculations were right and, having successfully pulled off this crazy Deadly 720, we’ve now made some more history.”

Staged in one of the venues that hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup Finals to a wildly enthusiastic capacity crowd, our stunt required pinpoint precision. To defy gravity not once but twice, the buggy had to enter each loop at between 24mph and 26mph. Too little speed and the buggy would fall out at the top of the loop, with fairly grim results. Too much speed would have resulted in an extra G of force on the driver and could have caused him to black out. Again, a fairly grim outcome.

Fortunately, none of this happened.

Here's the clip:

Verdict: CONGRATULATIONS to Top Gear for achieving that world record! You guys are ambitious and SUCCESSFUL!
