The F1 2025 season has three races left, with the last street race of this season, the Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. Due to the disqualification of both McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, because of the thickness of the rear skid on their cars, Max Verstappen's recent win places him 24 points behind Norris in the standings. As a result of this disqualification, the Mercedes drivers, George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, have been promoted to second and third place, respectively. Other finishers include Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Isack Hadjar, Nico Hulkenberg, Lewis Hamilton, Esteban Ocon, and Ollie Bearman.

Gabriel Bortoleto was slapped with a five-place penalty for the next race for his Turn 1 crash with Lance Stroll.

With only two races left this season, can Max Verstappen regain the lead to defend his Driver's Champion status, or will the two McLaren drivers fight back until one of them gets their first title?

F1's 75th anniversary celebrations continue with the penultimate race of the season, the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, this November 30, 2025.

F1 Academy 2025 - Las Vegas

The 2025 F1 Academy finale, held in the streets of Las Vegas on a rainy day, is the decisive title between Doriane Pin and Maya Weug. With all eyes on the two title contenders, which one will be crowned the champion? Time to find out.

Long before the finale, unfortunate circumstances arose when Avia Anagnostiadis was unable to participate for the second time due to surgery on her left foot. As a result, Rachel Robertson stepped in to drive her TAG Heuer Hitech TGR car for the last two rounds. For the finale, Payton Westcott was chosen as the final wild card entry of the season, representing the Las Vegas sponsorship.

The finale featured a special guest appearance by Sanrio's Hello Kitty. Additionally, some Hello Kitty x F1 Academy merchandise was sold at the venue.

In the first race, thanks to Weug's accident mid-race, Doriane Pin managed to secure a victory against Nina Gademan, pinning her title hopes. Meanwhile, Aurelia Nobels got her first F1 Academy podium after she was promoted to third place after Alisia Palmowski got disqualified due to a technical breach post-inspection.

In the finale, meanwhile, Chloe Chambers won the final race of the season, followed by Alisha Palmowski and Maya Weug.

Now that Doriane Pin has become the third F1 Academy champion, following the footsteps of previous champions Marta Garcia and Abbi Pulling, what would Pin's post-F1 Academy life look like? What's next for the other F1 Academy drivers who've reached their two-season limit, such as Maya Weug, Chloe Chambers, Lia Block, and others?

Only time will tell, but in the meantime, that's the end of the 2025 F1 Academy season. See you next year.

Audi Q3 (FJ)

The Audi Q3 is now in its third generation and aims to maintain the reputation of its predecessors as one of the best-selling Audi models. As a luxury crossover accessible to the average person, it continually seeks innovative ways to meet the needs of its customers.

Available in normal and Sportback configurations, the all-new Audi Q3 starts at a reasonable 44,600 Euros plus additional costs, a great value for money when compared to its more expensive rivals, the BMW X3 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC. A real bargain of the season, but is it any better?

At first glance, the third-generation Q3 appears to have simply copied its larger sibling, the Q5, as if using "Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V." The only distinguishing factor between the two is their size, since the Q3 is widely recognized as the smaller sibling in the Audi SUV lineup. This is a certainty.

On the driver's side, the all-new Q3 features a panoramic display with the 11.9-inch instrument cluster and the 12.8-inch MMI touch screen that controls nearly the entire vehicle inside out. Because it's powered by Google's Android OS, not only can you take advantage of its smartphone connectivity, but you can also download third-party apps such as YouTube to enjoy while being stuck in heavy traffic or while parking somewhere, waiting for someone.

Unfortunately, despite the new design, it offers less space than the previous model. The same is true for the slightly smaller Sportback due to its coupe-like silhouette, which reduces some boot space.

Under the hood, the all-new Q3 is powered by a choice of a 1.5L TFSi, 2.0L TFSi, a 1.5L TFSi e-Hybrid, and the 2.0L TDi engine. All engines are mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission. The latter is sadly a no-no in today's Europe, so best to ignore it.

Being the range-topper of the all-new Q3, the 1.5L TFSi e-hybrid with its 85kW electric motor produces a total output of 200 kW (272 PS) and 400 Nm of system torque. With the said gearbox, it does 0-100kph in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 215kph. That's faster than the plug-in variant of the Lexus NX. Apart from its 1.7l/100km fuel economy, its electric-only range is good for 119km based on WLTP standards.

Audi claims the all-new Q3 drives better than its predecessor, thanks to a new damper system that enhances comfort and performance. For quattro models, it has "offroad plus" in the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, giving it capabilities to get through uneven road conditions, even when driving through either gravel or snow.

For safety, the all-new Audi Q3 features recognizable ADAS elements too many to list, including an unprecedented emergency assistant that takes control of the vehicle if the driver becomes unconscious.

It may be less spacious than the previous model, and while suffering a bad case of copy-paste from its big brother, the all-new Audi Q3 drives better than before, thanks to its slightly improved dynamics, and the inclusion of the e-hybrid variant really means big business. In the end, it's all in the name of common sense for the junior of the Audi SUV range.
