The 2025 F1 Academy finale, held in the streets of Las Vegas on a rainy day, is the decisive title between Doriane Pin and Maya Weug. With all eyes on the two title contenders, which one will be crowned the champion? Time to find out.
Long before the finale, unfortunate circumstances arose when Avia Anagnostiadis was unable to participate for the second time due to surgery on her left foot. As a result, Rachel Robertson stepped in to drive her TAG Heuer Hitech TGR car for the last two rounds. For the finale, Payton Westcott was chosen as the final wild card entry of the season, representing the Las Vegas sponsorship.
The finale featured a special guest appearance by Sanrio's Hello Kitty. Additionally, some Hello Kitty x F1 Academy merchandise was sold at the venue.
In the first race, thanks to Weug's accident mid-race, Doriane Pin managed to secure a victory against Nina Gademan, pinning her title hopes. Meanwhile, Aurelia Nobels got her first F1 Academy podium after she was promoted to third place after Alisia Palmowski got disqualified due to a technical breach post-inspection.
In the finale, meanwhile, Chloe Chambers won the final race of the season, followed by Alisha Palmowski and Maya Weug.

Now that Doriane Pin has become the third F1 Academy champion, following the footsteps of previous champions Marta Garcia and Abbi Pulling, what would Pin's post-F1 Academy life look like? What's next for the other F1 Academy drivers who've reached their two-season limit, such as Maya Weug, Chloe Chambers, Lia Block, and others?
Only time will tell, but in the meantime, that's the end of the 2025 F1 Academy season. See you next year.
