I saw the Z34 but...

It was one hot afternoon after a short class at Seattle Central Community College when suddenly, I saw a white Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) in Version NISMO configuration. I maybe a big fan of JDM but the striking design of the Nissan Z34 looks sharp enough to wow me. Whoever owned this rare gem must have been the most popular in school, however, there's a problem...

What kind of a Z34 owner would rather put some Betty Boop decals on it? That looks more of an "OVERKILL" to me. Of course I love the Z34 but putting Betty Boop decals on it looks like this Z34 had crossed the line and much greater risk of becoming a "FASHION VICTIM", making it a perfect target for the "FASHION PULEZZZ". orz

Lesson learned from the Z34 owners. It's okay you can put anything on your Z34, but be aware and beware. Add something childish and most JDM enthusiasts will criticize you for OVERKILL. Don't say we didn't warn you....

PNoy bids farewell to his Porsche!

Check out the scoop:

It seems that our Philippine president, Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, known by others as PNoy, sold off his old Porsche 911 5 months after he bought it.

It's too controversial for our president to buy such an exotic sports car. He just have to focus on our rights instead of his own rights.

I'm glad that's over...

Ford Fiesta vs. Hyundai Accent RB

2011 Ford Fiesta

2011 Hyundai Accent

The Ford Fiesta arrived in the North American market since the Summer of 2010 while the Hyundai Accent RB arrived in South Korea before the end of 2010. What do they have in common that they are hugely popular city cars because of its perfect balance of style and performance. By interest, both the Accent RB and the Fiesta are hugely popular in the Philippines. Popularity is their main target but which one is my pick?

When I notice about the styling of the Ford Fiesta, this looks somewhat dynamic and resonating, making it more aggressive and striking at various angles. The Accent RB's design carries the brand's trademark Fluidic Sculpture and with this design philosophy, the Accent RB is somewhat swooping and smooth. As for me, I would prefer the styling of the Hyundai Accent RB because this looks more stylish than the Fiesta because the Fiesta's design looks sharp but down right boring.

It's up to you to decide which of these two mega-popular city compacts stands out the crowd...

Driving Music (What is the name of the song on car commercial?) Vol. 5

This just in, someone hacked my blog again. An unknown hacker left me with a message saying "what was that song on the Citroen DS4 advert?" and what actions I made? I'm prepared for another emergency meeting and this time, another set of five "DRIVING MUSICS" for you to put it on your car audio or use it as a Gran Turismo 5 Personal BGM. Are you ready?

5) You saw the New Citroen C4 commercial? You know, people riding bicycles following the new Citroen C4? If so, you're asking what was that song and I'll answer it for you. The song is titled Call Me The Breeze by J.J. Cale. Good song for a good commercial. Care if you can find one on iTunes?

4) Remember the latest Citroen C5 commercial where the dominoes are the roads and showing how does the C5's Hydractive Suspension work? If so, what was that song? OK, I'll tell you what was that song, it's The Answer by Unkle. Find this one too on iTunes or Amazon MP3!

3) How about the latest Citroen C4 commercial where the diver got chased by a shark and later, the diver got hit unexpectedly by a golf ball? Want to know what was that song now? It's titled California Dreamin' by The Mamas and The Papas. Don't say we didn't warn you...

2) The song "Stayin' Alive" sung by the Bee Gees was used on the Honda Odyssey commercial starring George Clooney back in October 2008, when the 4th Generation Honda Odyssey debuted in Japan. An arranged version of Stayin' Alive sung by Eldissa was used on the 2006 Nissan Moco commercial in Japan. It's easier to find the Bee Gees version of Stayin Alive but the Eldissa version of Stayin' Alive as heard in the Nissan Moco ad? Find it on SHIFT second NISSAN CM TRACKS.

1) Now for the main event! You want to know the commercial song for the Citroen DS4? We know that we can't say NO and we are always said YES. The commercial song for the Citroen DS4 advert is..... (pulls envelope)

I Love U So by Cassius!

You happy now? I repeat, I Love U So by Cassius is the song played on the Citroen DS4 advert! You heard? OK!

And that's all for now. If someone hacked my computer and left a question about what was that song played on the car commercial, I'LL BE THERE! BE AWARE AND BEWARE!

Cha Seung-Won in a 2012MY Hyundai Santa Fe commercial
