New Dodge Charger SRT8

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 interior

The all new Dodge Charger SRT8 really transform the regular Charger from a battering ram into a much powerful battering ram that can penetrate even the toughest walls in one hit. Once you meet face to face with the beast, you are guaranteed that you'll be dead because of its looks more meaner than the original Charger.

In the hands of the owner, the Charger SRT8's new interior makes them in control of the untamed V8 monster. It makes owners saying "You can run but you can't hide" or "you will respect my authoritah", depending on your road rage level is. Like most of its SRT brothers such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and the Chrysler 300 SRT8, the new Dodge Charger SRT8 comes with the Electronic Vehicle Information Center that allows owners to check real time information such as telemetry, lap times, and others. It comes with a 8.4-inch touchscreen display with Uconnect Touch that provides the best information and entertainment inside the new Charger SRT8 and the Harman Kardon 7.3 Surround Sound System with 19 High-Performance, High-Efficienct GreenEdge Loudspeakers provides the best sound experience, which makes it more perfect enough to listen to some heavy metal music while driving the new Charger SRT8 on the road.

Now, under the hood, it comes with the all new 6.4L HEMI V8 engine which produces 465bhp of power and 465lb-ft of torque. It is mated with a W5A580 five-speed paddle shift transmission that makes it more ambitious but more rubbish. Like most HEMI vehicles, the Charger SRT8 comes with the Fuel Saver Technology for variable cylinder management that promises fuel economy of 23MPG Highway. It comes with the new Adaptive Damping Suspension that allows owners to switch between Auto mode and Sport mode.

Available in five colors; Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat, Pitch Black, Redline 3-Coat Pearl, and Tungsten Metallic Clear Coat.

My comment:
The new Dodge Charger SRT8 really is a battering ram in steroids that is waiting to kill its prey in its top speed. I might think that the Charger SRT8 may end up being a Lotus Carlton but I am wrong because of the rubbish 5-speed paddle shift transmission that I might find it hard to catch up against high-speed rivals and the handling's a bit too rubbish even if you've turned off the Traction Control. I thought that this new Charger SRT8 is promised to be an instrument of terror but not as terrorizing as a vintage car called Brutus.

New Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

Chrysler's Street & Racing Technology are very adamant that this all new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is the most technologically advanced, highest performing Jeep ever made. I surely believed that this Grand Cherokee on steroids would only be fit for cowboys but it wasn't made to be more rodeo-oriented. I wasn't sure that this new model exceeds expectations against the BMW X5 M but it surely is a very difficult explanation to tell.

The exterior design looks similar as the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 but because this is the SRT8 version, it gained muscular aero kits from top to bottom in order to create a meaner sport utility vehicle with meaner looks to scare away the predators at the dark. If you see the SRT8 badge at the back, that's how it goes "Nah-Nah-Na-Na-Nah".

In the interior, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is backed by a SRT-exclusive seats, SRT-exclusive steering wheel, carbon fiber inserts, and a 6.5-inch navigation system complete with Electronic Vehicle Information Center which provides real-time information on the Grand Cherokee SRT8. It also provides telemetry and data such as 0-60 mph times, eighth- and quarter-mile times, 60-0 mph braking distances and lateral acceleration figures. For sound quality, it has a Harman Kardon 7.3 Surround Sound System with 19 High-Performance, High-Efficienct GreenEdge Loudspeakers to bring out the best sound experience inside the Grand Cherokee SRT8.

The new SRT8 Grand Cherokee is powered by the 6.4L HEMI V8 engine that creates 465 horsepower at 6,000rpm and 465lb-ft of torque at 4,200rpm. It even comes with a Fuel Saver Technology for cylinder management to provide better fuel economy and to accumulate EPA estimated MPG of 12 city/18 hwy. It is armed with a 5-speed paddle shift transmission. As a 4WD, the Grand Cherokee SRT8 comes with the Quadra-Trac SRT full-time all-wheel-drive system that tackles against various road conditions like tarmac, gravel, and snow. It comes with the Selec-Track rotary control that allows the driver to switch through five different modes such as Auto, Track, Sport, Snow, and Tow.

There is an optional Luxury Group Package to provide more luxury to the interior but it can also provide features such as adaptive cruise control, Forward Collision Warning and Blind spot Monitoring. There are 45 Safety and Security features you can find it on the new Grand Cherokee SRT8.

Available in four exterior colors such as Deep Cherry Red Pearl, Black, Bright Silver Metallic, and Mineral Gray Metallic.

My comment:
This is the best Jeep for enthusiasts but it's not as good looking as the regular Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, it's less expensive than the BMW X5 M because the Grand Cherokee SRT8 starts at $54,470 while the BMW X5 M costs $86,400.

Honestly, they messed up with this new model. Well, initially it's a thoroughbred sports utility vehicle but it doesn't. It takes moments to figure out how does the Grand Cherokee SRT8 and the result is that this SUV is not merely a 4WD thoroughbred and it's more complicated than a medium-sized woman.

New Chrysler 300 SRT8

The all new Chrysler 300 SRT8 is the next best thing to earn your respect to your Mafia family. Besides, not only your Mafia family will earn your respect, but your rival gangsters will be the envy of you, wishing them to get their very own Chrysler 300 SRT8, the ultimate 300 courtesy of Chrysler Group's Street & Racing Technology.

2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8

The new 300 SRT8's exterior design provides a muscular stance to earn respect to the crowd. From its unique front lamps, grille, front bumpers, 20-Inch x 9.0-Inch Aluminum SRT® Design Wheels, and a unique SRT8 badge to the back, we're sure to know that the well-sculpted exterior really matches up to its Mafia looks. The Godfather will surely be choked to death when he saw your ride parking near his penthouse.

Respect is everything courtesy of the Chrysler 300 SRT8's interior. At its first glance, it looks similar to the regular Chrysler 300 but because this is an SRT8 version, you should expect seeing a host of respectful interior features such as carbon fiber paneling, unique SRT steering wheel, heated and ventilated Sport Leather Bucket Seats, Power Front Driver and Passenger Seats, Driver / Passenger Power 4-Way Lumbar Adjust, and Rear 60 / 40 Folding Seat. In the middle of the instrumental panel comes the 8.4-inch Electronic Vehicle Information Center which provides real-time information on the 300 SRT8. It also provides telemetry and data such as 0-60 mph times, eighth- and quarter-mile times, 60-0 mph braking distances and lateral acceleration figures. That was also applicable to the Uconnect Touch™ 8.4N CD/DVD/MP3/NAV as well.

2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8

Does the new Chrysler 300 SRT8 have a respectful performance courtesy of Street & Racing Technology? Let's find out once and for all. The new 6.4L HEMI V8 on the 300 SRT8 makes 465 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. To provide EPA est. MPG of 16 city/25 hwy, a Fuel Saver Technology was added to provide Variable Cylinder Management, providing this V8 engine to run on fours. The flappy paddle 5-speed semi automatic gearbox sounds convincing but not too exciting because five gears aren't enough for the SRT fan to bring out more "Fear Factor" on racetracks across the USA such as Laguna Seca, Road America, Road Atlanta, and Sebring. To tackle most of America's toughest tracks, the adaptive Bilstein suspension with two driver-selectable modes tackle America's toughest jobs. Set it to Auto mode and it provides more comfort on normal roads and if you set it to Sport mode and it provides sharper handling. For stopping power, the 300 SRT8 is armed with four-piston Brembo calipers for a stronger braking at various turns.

Safety is just a low-profile for the hardcore enthusiasts and the 300 SRT8 has some of its safety features to offer such as Rain-Sensitive Windshield Wipers, Tire Pressure Monitoring Display, Anti-Lock 4-Wheel Disc Performance Brakes, and 3-Mode Electronic Stability Control. The optional SafetyTec provides more safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Sport and Cross Path Detection, Exterior Mirrors with Supplemental Signals, Exterior Mirrors with Courtesy Lamps, Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Fog Lamps. Experienced owners shouldn't rely on these when they're on the racetrack but newcomers should feel free to use these until they are ready to go on the EXTREME difficulty.

First time owners of the new 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 are feel free to participate in the SRT Track Experience, where a team of experts show the fundamentals on driving SRT vehicles. To register, go to http://drivesrt.com/srt-track-experience/

The new Chrysler 300 SRT8 offers six color variations such as Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl Coat, Gloss Black, Ivory Tri-Coat Pearl, and Tungsten Metallic Clear Coat.

My Comment:
Respect is everything for the all new Chrysler 300 SRT8 because of the aggressive features that brings respect to the driver. Your Mafia family will be very impressed to see how good is the new 300 SRT8 but the flappy-paddle 5-speed semi-automatic gearbox is not as exciting as the other super saloons. Yeah, right.
