Crafted by the minds of James Wan and Blumhouse, M3GAN is a horror movie about an AI doll that will showcase the true horrors between man and machine, which kinda reminds us of the other movies with humans vs. robots in it.

Meant to be a friend for children and parents alike, Gemma (played by Allison Williams), a roboticist working for the toy company that created M3GAN, tries to put her M3GAN prototype to good use while taking care of her orphaned niece Cady (played by Violet McGraw). However, all that good use became a living nightmare as M3GAN began acting on its own and went berserk.

Moviegoers were right about this movie being a Child's Play faux simile because M3GAN stole Chucky's spotlight as the genocidal toy the world should watch out for. Although a mild PG-13 horror movie, M3GAN behaves like a Rated R horror movie with shocking results. Such suspense, thrills, and chills made M3GAN the next big thing in horror movies and it's going to join the ranks of other horror movie monsters.

As they said, move over, Chucky. M3GAN's the new horror movie doll you don't want to make friends with.

Arrived in time before Christmas, the latest Kamen Rider crossover movie saw the Riders from the latest series facing familiar faces in a deadly battle royale fans are familiar with.

Titled Kamen Rider Geats x Revice MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE, Geats and the others are battling against the likes of Revi, Vice, Ryuki, and the other riders in a deadly battle royale where the last rider wins it all. However, this battle royale game gets a plot twist; a new rider named Kamen Rider Sicker wields the Powered Builder Buckle and Gigant Buckle in the Desire Driver.

This battle royale the riders are onto really takes the fans back because this movie saw the riders battle like it's 2002, the year Masked Rider Ryuki was aired. A fitting climax to Ryuki's 20th anniversary tribute this movie is and it reminds the world that there can only be one Kamen Rider. 

It's common sense but it's still a fun movie to watch while spending the rest of the Christmas vacation with the family and because this is a Kamen Rider movie, it's worth being the talk of the town.

It feels serene to witness the Na'vis living in peace until the clash against human enemies trying to destroy Pandora again evolved this joyful movie into an all-out thriller where they put themselves to the test.

With its storytelling evolved to perfection, stunning visuals thanks to Disney's takeover of Fox, and the moral lessons it delivers, this long-awaited sequel to the 2009 blockbuster is no doubt a worthy contender to next year's Academy Awards. Of course, this latest Shinbi's House movie took the pages from a certain superhero flick that involves alternate universes. Speaking of alternate universes, this movie gave fans the chance to see Shinbi and the gang as they've never seen before because this is a movie about the multiverse, the Shinbi's House way. Having enjoyed witnessing the heroes' alternative sides, the classic Shinbi's House moments are still in this newest movie; supernatural threats, epic fight scenes, tearful moments, and Shinbi's cute moments to stick to your face. 

Besides, the appearance of Kibi in the movie feels like she can be a welcoming addition to Team Shinbi. Let's hope fans deserve more from her in the next season just like the other one.

Drama aside, Wakanda Forever is another Marvel masterpiece that celebrates the heroines who made it possible just like other MCU movies like Captain Marvel and Black Widow, but it's more than that because the main heroines in this film are paying tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. Yes, there are hints that the MCU franchise is getting diverse but with Wakanda Forever, it's slowly tipping the scales and fans would really wish there should be more MCU flicks like this that celebrate women in action.

With sorrow, rage, and a hint of girl power, Wakanda Forever is a clear sign that the Black Panther story goes on and as hinted with the arrival of a new Black Panther in this movie, it's worth passing it on.

About time, they said, because compared to the rest of the Halloween franchise, Halloween Ends delivers the ultimate thrill that will torture even the most faint-hearted viewers with the most terrifying Michael Myers moments ever witnessed in the history of the Halloween movies. Because this is claimed to be the climax of the franchise, the villainous slasher is in his grotesque final form and the final standoff between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers is worth the wait.

Aikatsu Planet! (movie)

Aired in TV Tokyo from January to late June 2021, Aikatsu Planet is the fourth installment of Bandai Namco's Aikatsu franchise that breaks apart from the franchise traditions. It features a mix of live-action J-drama (tokusatsu, if you like to refer) and anime sequences and instead of cards, Aikatsu Planet uses the swing system where avatars use swings to tame mysterious creatures known as Dressias, possessing wonderful outfits to use on-stage battles.

The series ended last year but those who are wondering what's next for Hana and the girls wait no more because the movie version of the Aikatsu Planet has arrived in time for the Aikatsu franchise's 10th anniversary, giving fans a much-needed closure.

The Aikatsu Planet girls are back and this time they're on the big screen as the movie version of the said show picks up moments after the series finale. In this movie, Mao Otoha (played by Kahya Date) and the gang are staging an Aikatsu Planet festival on the school campus; meaning there will be more fun and games for the girls as they're getting through all sorts of misfits in the name of all things Aikatsu.

Although appreciated for the return of the STARRY PLANET girls and the classic Aikatsu moment returned in this movie, this movie didn't deliver what the fans wanted; summer uniforms, snowballs, kimonos, and a beach. What a bummer for Aikatsu fans because like the show itself, Aikatsu Planet did break the franchise norms and it's a shame fans didn't get to see what's like when our favorite Aikatsu Planet girls got soaked for summer or whatever the Aikatsu franchise showed in its glorious pasts.

Despite the movie didn't deliver what the fans want for the girls, this movie truly is a fitting start for the Aikatsu franchise's 10th anniversary, even the new songs featured in this movie are proof that it's still Aikatsu. Mind you, there's even a special Aikatsu 10th-anniversary short movie before this and we get to see the original Aikatsu anime characters returned for more.

This movie is a fitting start to the Aikatsu franchise's 10th anniversary and despite lacking the fanservice, their big-screen antics have shown that this is the true ending to the Aikatsu Planet saga...although it hurts saying it this is the peak of the saga has reached. Well done, STARRY PLANET girls.

From start to finish, Buzz Lightyear's first mission really is a spectacle that families will enjoy. Dramatic moments, thrilling moments, funny moments, this movie has it all in a Disney-Pixar way and this is by no means one of the must-watch films of the summer season.

Cruise reprises the role of Pete Mitchell, TAC Name: Maverick, as he's training a detachment of graduates for a specialized mission that will push them to the limit. With the fateful encounter of pilots named Rooster and Goose, Maverick prepares for the ultimate mission of his life.

The Tomcats and Hornets have finally soared into theaters after a two-year delay that shocked fans of the classic Top Gun movie into waiting. Now that it's here, this is something those who've watched the first Top Gun movie won't have their word on it. Like the first one, Top Gun: Maverick lets the jets do the talking more than the actors in this movie because the sky is their stage and the jets are the stars of the film, not the actors themselves. Although more flying than dogfights, which is a bit of a drama for this sequel, it's more than enough to deliver the closure Top Gun needs.

Whether you are familiar with the original Top Gun movie or not, the sequel is a must-watch, especially for those who want to be like Maverick and the other Top Gun pilots. It's great to be back in the danger zone for one last time.

After having a blast on reimagined versions of iconic classics such as Shin Godzilla and Shin Evangelion, a gigantic Japanese superhero is getting the "shin" treatment as part of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe.

Created in honor of five-and-a-half decades of Ultraman, this reimaging of the classic Japanese superhero brings fans a bold and dramatic new take on the giant superhero the world loves.

Because this is a bold new take on Ultraman, this movie has nothing in common with the iconic 1966 TV series. The SSSP you'll see in this movie has nothing in common with the SSSP from the TV show because the producers wanted to deliver the drama and the nonsense this movie delivers. 

With almost no gimmicks involved in the making of this serious reimagining, Shin Ultraman is explosive force majeure fans and newcomers to the Ultraman franchise should check it out for themselves...although some may find that the Ultraman appeared in this reimagining looks skinny compared to the real thing, giving suspicions that our favorite giant went on a workout before filming.

Despite its odd undertones, Shin Ultraman is the no-nonsense reimagining that deserves to follow the footsteps of Shin Godzilla and Shin Evangelion. Like it or not, this movie is not really a show-off and it sure knows how to be taken very seriously.
