Ultraman Blazar The Movie: Dai Kaiju Shuto Gekitotsu

Ultraman Blazar, Gento Hiruma, and SKaRD are back for their final mission as they are on a race against time to avert armageddon, whatever it takes.

Ultraman Blazar The Movie:
Dai Kaiju Shuto Gekitotsu

Ultraman Blazar The Movie: Dai Kaiju Shuto Gekitotsu (Giant Monster Clash in the Capital) is set moments after the series finale, and in this true final mission for Blazar and SKaRD, a powerful monster Gongilgan is causing havoc across downtown Tokyo. With lives at stake, Gento Hiruma and the entire SKaRD task force are facing the inevitable, and as time runs out, they are throwing whatever means necessary to prevent an all-out armageddon.

Packed with suspense, thrills, action, drama, plot twists, and the usual Blazar shenanigans that speak louder than his now-famous battle cries, it is the proper sendoff to Blazar's story. Although it was jammed with mixed reactions since last year's TV series, it's more than enough to Plus Ultra to the very end.

With this movie, it's officially case closed for Ultraman Blazar, but the Ultraman New Generation universe will continue. We don't know who and what but watch for it.

Ultraman Decker Saishusho: Tabidachi no Kanata he

The true end of Ultraman Decker's mission has finally arrived on the Tsuburaya Imagination service, in select cinemas across Japan, and worldwide via Ultraman Connection. All hands on deck as Decker's final mission is worth a turning point too impossible to ignore.

Ultraman Decker Saishusho:
Tabidachi no Kanata he

Ultraman Decker Saishusho: Tabidachi no Kanata he (Ultraman Decker Finale: Journey to Beyond) is a movie that serves as the true end to Ultraman Decker's mission. Set moments after the series finale, Kanata Asumi and the GUTS-SELECT team are teaming up with a runaway alien named Dinas, who happens to possess the same power as Decker. Together, they are battling against a rogue alien scientist named Gibellus and his minions plotting to destroy humanity.

Dinas's appearance in the movie feels unorthodox by Ultraman standards, judging by the fact that it can battle just like Decker, but this movie is all suspense and drama until the climax hits and everything's going full circle. The truth about Decker has finally been unveiled.

Although this movie feels like solo work with none of the predecessors joining in the fun compared to past Ultraman New Generation movies, it's the closure fans needed after enjoying the TV series from the beginning to the end, and as Decker's story has finally completed, the next phase begins. After all, the end of Ultraman Decker's story is a sign of things to come as the Ultraman New Generation Heroes universe celebrates its 10th year.

From Ginga to Decker - A quick list of Ultraman shows aired on TV Tokyo

The newest installment of the Ultraman franchise, Ultraman Decker, is here and this marks the 10th Ultraman TV series aired on TV Tokyo since 2013's Ultraman Ginga. In honor of the Ultraman Decker series premiere, it's time to have a quick trip to memory lane with the quick list of Ultraman shows aired on TV Tokyo.

Ultraman Ginga (2013) - The Ultraman series marked its return to the TV screens on its new home network, TV Tokyo, and the first Ultraman series aired on TV Tokyo is Ultraman Ginga. The series centers on a young man named Hikaru Raido. After returning from overseas, he and his friend Misuzu venture to their childhood school until Hikaru's encounter with an Ultraman Taro doll turned into a struggle between good vs. evil. Granted with the power of the Ginga Spark, Hikaru becomes Ultraman Ginga to defend the school against the forces of evil.

Ultraman Ginga S (2014) - The sequel is set two years after the finale of the first series. In this series, Hikaru Raido returns and this time, he's joined by the special forces unit called the Ultra Party Guardians as well as Sho, a Victorian warrior who wields the Victory Lancer to become Ultraman Victory.

Ultraman X (2015) - The third installment of the New Generation Heroes saga, this series centers on Daiichi Ozora, a young man who is part of the special forces unit called Xio. Caught in a crossfire against a kaiju, Daiichi encountered a mysterious Ultraman and join forces with him. With the power of the Xdevizer, Daiichi becomes Ultraman X, and by harnessing the power of the cyber monsters, X protects the city against monsters.

Ultraman Orb (2016) - Served as an ultimate present for the Ultraman franchise's 50th anniversary, Ultraman Orb, the fourth Ultraman TV show of the New Generation Heroes universe, centers on a mysterious man named Gai who lost his powers following a certain incident several years ago. Armed with the Orb Ring and a deck of Fusion Cards, Gai transforms into Ultraman Orb and battles against terrifying monsters as well as his arch-nemesis, Jugglus Juggler.

Ultraman Geed (2017) - In this fifth installment of the New Generation Heroes saga, this show centers on a young man named Riku Asakura, who tries to cope with his dark past and the fact that he's the descendant of Belial, the evil Ultraman who threatened to destroy the universe. Using the power of the Geed Riser and the Ultra Capsules, Riku becomes Ultraman Geed, protects the world against the monsters, and in due course, put an end Belial's evil plans.

Ultraman R/B (2018) - The sixth installment of the New Generation Heroes features, for the first time, brothers becoming Ultra Heroes. The quiet lives of the Minato brothers, Katsumi and Isami, are forever changed when a kaiju attacked the city of Ayaka-shi and they were caught in the attack. Granted with the R/B Gyro and R/B crystals, the Minato brothers become Ultraman Rosso and Ultraman Blu. It takes two to save the day, right?

Ultraman Taiga (2019) - The first Ultraman series of the Reiwa era and the first to have the main character transform into three Ultra Heroes. Hiroyuki Kudo, a young man who works for EGIS, harnesses the power of the Taiga Spark to become Ultraman Taiga, the descendant of the legendary Ultraman Taro. Hiroyuki and Taiga are later joined by Titas and Fuma, and together, they must do whatever means necessary to foil Tregear's evil plot to destroy the universe.

Ultraman Z (2020) - In this series, two underdogs, STORAGE member Haruki Natsukawa and Ultraman Z, join forces to save the city from kaiju attacks as well as Celebro's sadistic attempts to destroy the world. Popular characters from the Ultraman universe such as Jugglus Juggler from Ultraman Orb, Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Zero, and Ultraman Ace made their appearances in this series.

Ultraman Trigger (2021) - Made to commemorate the Ultraman franchise's 55th anniversary and the Tiga-Dyna-Gaia universe's 25th anniversary, this landmark series centers on a young man named Kengo Manaka. Caught in a battle against Carmeara, one of the Giants of Darkness, Kengo wields the power of the GUTS Spark Lence and the Hyper Key to become Ultraman Trigger, the ancient hero of light. With Trigger and the entire GUTS-SELECT team, they will do by all means necessary to save the world from monster attacks as well as the Giants of Darkness while uncovering a mysterious prophecy surrounding Trigger.

Ultraman Decker (2022) - The latest series, which is part of the Neo Frontier Spirits, is made in honor of Ultraman Dyna's 25th anniversary, continuing the Tiga-Dyna-Gaia universe's 25th-anniversary celebration. In this new series, set nine years after Trigger's final battle, a humble young man named Kanata Asumi got caught in a crossfire against a malevolent force known as the Sphere. Wielding the power of the Ultra D-Flasher and the Ultra Dimension cards, Kanata becomes Ultraman Decker, humanity's last hope. With the new GUTS-SELECT team alongside, Decker will use all means necessary to save the world from Sphere threats.

A decade of Ultraman TV shows aired on TV Tokyo from Ginga to Decker, it's an ultra milestone in the making. This is the future of Ultraman and with Decker's arrival, the future of the Ultraman franchise never felt so ultra.

Shin Ultraman

After having a blast on reimagined versions of iconic classics such as Shin Godzilla and Shin Evangelion, a gigantic Japanese superhero is getting the "shin" treatment as part of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe.

Shin Ultraman
Shin Ultraman

Created in honor of five-and-a-half decades of Ultraman, this reimaging of the classic Japanese superhero brings fans a bold and dramatic new take on the giant superhero the world loves.

Because this is a bold new take on Ultraman, this movie has nothing in common with the iconic 1966 TV series. The SSSP you'll see in this movie has nothing in common with the SSSP from the TV show because the producers wanted to deliver the drama and the nonsense this movie delivers.

With almost no gimmicks involved in the making of this serious reimagining, Shin Ultraman is explosive force majeure fans and newcomers to the Ultraman franchise should check it out for themselves...although some may find that the Ultraman appeared in this reimagining looks skinny compared to the real thing, giving suspicions that our favorite giant went on a workout before filming.

Despite its odd undertones, Shin Ultraman is the no-nonsense reimagining that deserves to follow the footsteps of Shin Godzilla and Shin Evangelion. Like it or not, this movie is not really a show-off and it sure knows how to be taken very seriously.

Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z

Ultraman Trigger returns for the true final chapter of his story now streaming on the Tsuburaya Imagination service and showing in select cinemas across Japan. The shot that will end all shots in Trigger's story has been fired and fans of the Ultraman franchise are in for a wild ride.

Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z
Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z

Episode Z is set two years after the series finale and in this Tsuburaya Imagination original movie, set in honor of the service's first anniversary, the GUTS-SELECT team faced a daunting new challenge; a swarm of threats. When a crisis looms; a savior has been returned; Kengo Manaka, also known as Trigger. However, Trigger faces a more terrifying challenge. The arrival of Tokioka in GUTS-SELECT, Tatsumi's new purpose, the wrath of Evil Trigger, and whatever happened to Z, this is the ultimate challenge Trigger ever faced.

This movie is the closure fans have waited for since the series finale two months ago and as most fans are heavily delighted with the suspense and thrills Episode Z delivers, as well as the long-awaited arrival of Evil Trigger, a terrifying monster reminiscent of Evil Tiga from a certain episode of Ultraman Tiga 25 years ago, some are feeling envy over this because...argh that GUTS Spark Lence thingy. We do want one as well Ignis's Black Spark Lence.

Anyway, Episode Z truly marks the end of Trigger's story and it truly is the ultimate shot fired at the heads of fans who enjoyed Ultraman Trigger from start to finish. It's the biggest bang delivered on the highest note, almost. With Trigger's story truly done, the New Generation Heroes universe is ushering to a new start after a decade of saving the universe. With one story done, a new legacy begins.

Why 2021 is an ultra year for the Ultraman series?

July 10, 2021, marks the 55th anniversary of the Ultraman franchise since the first Ultraman TV series went on air and the producers are very blessed why they've launched their newest installment, Ultraman Trigger, on this very day where fans from around the world are honoring 55 years of everyone's favorite giant alien saving the world, the galaxy rather, from terrifying monsters. From the first Ultraman to the recent Trigger, we are blessed with 51 Ultra Heroes (52 if you add Ribut from the Ultra Galaxy Fight web series) that appeared throughout the franchise and still counting!

So, why 2021 is definitely an Ultra year for the Ultraman series, you may ask? Let's begin.

Ultraman

55 years ago, Ultraman is aired on TV - Aired on MBS and its affiliated channels on the 10th of July, 1966, the Ultraman TV series is meant to be a spin-off of the Ultra Q mystery series but because it spawned into a full-blown franchise, Ultraman is Tsuburaya Productions' success story. The TV series is about Shin Hayata, a member of the special ops team called the SSSP, who got involved in a plane crash and his unknown encounter with Ultraman gave him a Beta Capsule, a device that allows Shin Hayata to transform into Ultraman and battle against monsters in as little as three minutes because of the Earth's atmosphere. Hence the signature color timer, huh?

50 years ago, Return of Ultraman is aired on TV - Five years after the success of the first Ultraman TV series, as well as its successor show, Ultraseven, the producers from Tsuburaya Productions have created a follow-up of the original Ultraman TV series, titled Return of Ultraman. Aired on MBS and its affiliates in 1971, the Return of Ultraman brings back Ultraman and Ultraseven as they team up with the Monster Attack Team against terrifying aliens and monsters. The series welcomes one of the Ultra brothers, Jack.

25 years ago, we have...Zearth? - I know it sounds odd but the weird-looking Ultraman named Ultraman Zearth is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year since the film popped up in 1996. Known to be a lighter take on the Ultraman franchise, it's about your average employee at MYDO who uses a mysterious toothbrush that allows him to transform into Zearth, your not-so-average Ultra Hero with some not-so-average powers.

25 years ago, Tiga is here - Ultraman Tiga marks the Ultraman series' return to Japanese TV after a long hiatus. Aired on CBC and its affiliates in 1996, the TV series involves Daigo, a young man who is part of the TPU's special forces unit, GUTS, who got caught in a crossfire against a kaiju until he was chosen to be the ancient warrior, Ultraman Tiga.

20 years ago, we met Cosmos - The year 2001 welcomes the first Ultra Hero of the 21st century, Ultraman Cosmos. It's also the first of the second Heisei Ultra Heroes as well. The TV series is about a young man who is part of the special forces unit called TEAM EYES, named Musashi Haruno, who was granted the Cosmo Pluck which allows him to transform into Ultraman Cosmos, the champion of peace. Using its pacifist powers, Cosmos can calm down even the most stubborn monsters on rampage.

Mebius arrived 15 years ago - With the success of 2001's Ultraman Cosmos, 2004's Ultraman Nexus, and 2005's Ultraman Max, the year 2006 welcomed Ultraman Mebius, which is oddly the last Ultraman TV series aired on TV before Tsuburaya Productions went under new ownership by a certain advertising agency. Long story short but anyway, the TV series is about CREW GUYS member Mirai Hibino, who is armed with the Mebius Brace that allows him to transform into Ultraman Mebius.

5 years ago, Ultraman Orb's here - Aired on TV Tokyo on July 9th, 2016, and served as an ultimate present for the Ultraman franchise's 50th anniversary, Ultraman Orb, the fourth Ultraman TV show of the New Generation Heroes universe, centers on a mysterious man named Gai who lost his powers following a certain incident several years ago. Armed with the Orb Ring and a deck of Fusion Cards, Gai transforms into Ultraman Orb and battles against terrifying monsters as well as his arch-nemesis, Jugglus Juggler.

Today, Trigger is here! - 2021 marked the 55th anniversary of the Ultraman franchise and its ultimate birthday present has arrived; the recently aired TV show titled Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga. It is the third Reiwa era Ultraman TV show aired on TV Tokyo since 2019's Ultraman Taiga and last year's Ultraman Z, and the ninth of the New Generation Heroes universe. In the newest installment of the Ultraman franchise, it's about a young man named Kengo Manaka who witnessed a dream about a mysterious giant. Armed with the GUTS Spark Lens, Kengo becomes Ultraman Trigger. Although it is still unclear if it's the reincarnation of the ancient warrior, Trigger utilizes his powers against terrifying monsters while battling against the reincarnations of the three evil giants.

...and that is why 2021 is an ultra year for the Ultraman series. From the first Ultraman TV series to the recent Ultraman Trigger, the world experienced 55 years of monster-slaying giants guarding the galaxy against the forces of evil. How will the galaxy be without them?

Happy 55th anniversary to the Ultraman franchise!

Ultraman Taiga: New Generation Climax

After a five-month delay due to the pandemic that broke everyone's hearts, the movie version of 2019's Ultraman TV series, titled Ultraman Taiga, has arrived and at long last, fans will be able to witness Taiga and the Tri Squad's final adventure where they will team up with their predecessors and put a stop to Tregear's sinister plot once and for all.

Ultraman Taiga: New Generation Climax

Set moments after the series finale, New Generation Climax sees Hiroyuki Kudo, Taiga, Titas, and Fuma, come face to face with the legendary Ultra Hero, Ultraman Taro. However, Taro got possessed by the power of darkness and began attacking Taiga, his son. Who's pulling the strings to this father-son conflict? One answer; Tregear. The arch nemesis they thought he's defeated, resurfaced and he's got Taro under his menacing strings.

For the biggest kicker of the film, Hiroyuki, Taiga, and friends join forces with their predecessors; Hikaru Raido (Ginga), Sho (Victory), Daichi Ozora (X), Kurenai Gai (Orb), Riku Asakura (Geed), and the Minato brothers (Rosso and Blu). Joining forces, the New Generation Heroes will do by all means necessary to free Taro from the darkness and ultimately put an end to Tregear once and for all.

In addition to New Generation Heroes joining forces, this film features the two biggest points; a powerful enemy and the ultimate hero. First off, there's the kaiju named Grimd, which is known to be Tregear's ultimate trump card to reign down havoc to our heroes, and lastly, with the New Generation Eye under Hiroyuki Kudo's hands, the New Generation Heroes (consisting of Ginga, Victory, X, Orb, Geed, Rosso, Blu, Grigio, Taiga, Titas, and Fuma) fused together as the ultimate Ultra Hero; Ultraman Reiga.

After five heartbreaking months, this is the victory bell fans have been waiting for because with Taiga and friends join forces with their predecessors, New Generation Climax delivered the biggest thrills, the biggest chills, and the biggest explosion compared to past Ultraman films. You had never seen an Ultraman film that is as enjoyable to watch as the others but although it feels a bit less and a bit above average, New Generation Climax served as the ultimate sendoff to the New Generation Heroes, the universe that has been around since Ultraman Ginga.

Just because it has the "Climax" word on the title, doesn't mean it's the end of the New Generation Heroes universe because like every final episode that ends with the word "To Be Continued", the New Generation Heroes universe ushered on its next phase as demonstrated on this year's installment but nevertheless, this film will never be forgotten because this will make fans raise their fists, celebrating the New Generation Heroes' biggest adventure. It's worth the PLUS ULTRA endgame.

My rating: 3.9 out of 5

Ultraman R/B: Select! Kizuna no Crystal

Last Summer, fans of the Ultraman franchise strapped themselves to the story of the Minato brothers in last year's installment, Ultraman R/B, and watched as the bond of brothers pushed beyond their limits as Ultraman Rosso and Ultraman Blu as they master their elemental powers and save Ayaka-shi from kaiju attacks and evil forces. Having missed them for almost three months since the final episode, the Minato brothers return for their final hurrah in the movie adaptation of the series, which served presumably as the last of the Ultraman New Generation era.

Ultraman R/B: Select! Kizuna no Crystal

Ultraman R/B: Select! Kizuna no Crystal served as the final chapter of the Ultraman R/B saga which was set after the dramatic events of the TV series. The siblings, well for one, had their decisions about their futures made with Isami said that he decides to study overseas. Katsumi, meanwhile, remains unsure what will his future be. However, the peace and tranquility in Ayaka-shi has been shattered once again, this time by the wrath of the most powerful foe ever faced; a villainous Ultraman named Tregear wrecks havoc in the city and the Minato siblings are not only the ones who will be fighting against this new threat. They were joined by Riku Asakura, known as Ultraman Geed, and together, they will risk everything to end Tregear's reign of terror.

With Rosso, Blu, and Geed back in action, the new film features new Ultra Heroes such as the new favorite, Ultrawoman Grigio. Yes, little sister Asahi Minato gets her Ultra Heroine named after Mitsurugi's real name. Focused solely on support, Grigio uses her defensive powers to help her brothers. And lastly, there's Ultraman GRooB; the result of the Minato siblings' unity coming into this ultra-powerful Ultra Hero. Paired alongside Geed's Ultimate Final form and this results to an epic battle between good vs. evil. The perfect endgame.

Although there will be some surprises and easter eggs in store, this film doesn't feel like any of the New Generation era films where multiple heroes are banded against powerful new enemies because it lacks that special someone. You know who's that special someone? Anyway, while this is nothing ordinary compared to any other New Generation era films, this movie really is a proper sendoff to this era that started with Ginga and ended with R/B.

The Ultraman New Generation era comes to a complete finish and this film really is the icing of the cake that leaves a lasting impression to fans of all ages. It's hard to miss such a wonderful generation of Ultra Heroes but fans who witnessed the film from start to finish will have their thoughts saying that they loved this era since the beginning and with the Heisei era nearing its completion, this film really is the last sprint for the franchise as it ushers to the next bold era with new and exciting ways we can't wait. This film really is the swan song of the Ultraman New Generation era and it's time to give them the ultra thanks it needs.

My eating: 3.7 out of 5.

My ten favorite Ultraman New Generation moments

In honor of today's finale of Ultraman R/B, let's slow things down as I'm showcasing your my ten favorite Ultraman moments from the New Generation Heroes era which began from Ginga of 2013 to R/B of 2018.

Take note that you'd better not read this unless you've binge-watched the rest of the Ultraman New Generation era shows (save for R/B). I can wait.

Are you finished binge-watching the New Generation shows? Let's go.

Ultraman R/B

10) In Episode 6 of Ultraman Ginga, just as Ginga's about to be beaten by the wrath of Alien Valky and Dark Tiga, the once arch nemesis Tomoya Ichijouji comes to the rescue. He was unknowingly given a Gun-Pad and the Jean-Killer Tomoya piloted was re-named Jean-Nine. Together, Ginga and Jean-Nine vanquished Alien Valky and Dark Tiga. Did you know that Jean-Nine was one of Zero's friends as part of his Ultimate Force Zero? Oh, that young Ultraman, letting one of his friends slipping by.

9) In episode 10 of Ultraman Ginga S, the kaiju guardian of the underground world Shepardon sacrifice itself to protect Victory (Show) from the attacks of the two kaijus summoned by Alien Guts Vorst. Following Shepardon's sacrifice, it became a Spark Doll and to ensure that all of its efforts will not go in vain, Show Ult-Lances the Shepardon Spark Doll and unleashed Ultraman Victory's powerful weapon, the Shepardon Saber.

8) Chigusa Kuno, one of Hikaru Raido's childhood friends, fulfills her dream of being an idol in episode 12 of Ultraman Ginga S where an Alien Metron becomes so devoted to Chigusa, he turned away his role from being one of Exceller's henchmen to being a passionate fan. As Vorst attacks his former colleague, Ginga and Victory goes all-out to save a very special fan and with Vorst got distracted by Chigusa's performance (that's how idols roll in this universe), he got defeated by the two Ultra Heroes, saving an Alien Metron's life to get back at what he does best; cheering for his favorite idol.

7) Daiichi Ozora and Ultraman X are revived thanks to Asuna in the finale of Ultraman X and in the finale, to stop the fully formed Greeza, Daiichi and X combined all of the powers of the cards they've obtained to unleash X's Hybrid Armor. Thanks to X's Hybrid Armor, Daiichi and X successfully defeated Greeza once and for all.

6) In episode 15 of Ultraman R/B, as the Grgio King kaiju, which was controlled by Makoto Aizen, awakened by Saki Mitsurugi following it defeating the Minato brothers from a previous episode, the brothers are going all-out to defeat the monster. In there, the powers of the Ultraman crystal and the Belial crystal they've picked up have awakened and using all of the powers from the crystals in possession, the Kiwami Crystal has formed and with this crystal, the powers of Rosso (Katsumi Minato) and Blu (Isami Minato) have combined to become Ultraman R/B. Using the powerful R/B Kourin weapon, the brothers successfully finished off the kaiju with Aizen in it.

5) In episode 17 of Ultraman Geed, as Riku escapes from Belial's illusions thanks to his companion Laiha Toba because of the Little Star she possesses, Geed goes all-out to defeat Belial with the whole crowd cheering for our Ultra Hero. With Laiha's Little Star passed to Geed after that epic fight scene between Geed and Belial (in his Chimeraberos form) Riku obtained the King Capsule. With the power of the Belial capsule and the King capsule comes the King Sword and with this sword, Ultraman Geed Royal Mega Master awakens and his divine powers more than enough to blow Belial into smithereens.

4) In Episode 8 of Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Zero comes back to life following his sacrifice from a previous episode and fights alongside Leito Igaguri once again. As Zero and Geed teams up against not one but two Galactrons summoned by Kei Fukuide, a strange light approaches Zero. It turns out that Ultraman Hikari appeared to give Zero the Riser and the New Generation capsules. With the Riser equipped with the Ultra Zero Eye NEO and the powers of the New Generation capsules, Ultraman Zero becomes Ultraman Zero Beyond, a more powerful version with powerful moves such as Quattro Slugger and Bulky Chorus.

3) In the finale of Ultraman Geed, as Geed's about to be beaten by his father, Belial Atrocious, the combined might of the Ultra Heroes prompted to summon all of Geed's variants from Solid Burning, Acro Smasher, Magnificent, and Royal Mega Master. As Geed and all of his variants destroyed Belial's Atrocious form, Geed zaps his father to the wormhole formed by Zegan, under the control of Alien Shadow Zena of the AIB before Belial crushed him. In that wormhole, after witnessing Belial's flashbacks, Geed (Riku Asakura) ultimately eliminate his father once and for all.

2) Near the climax of the finale of Ultraman Orb, Orb (Kurenai Gai) got unexpectedly teamed up with his arch nemesis Jugglus Juggler to defeat Magata no Orochi. As Juggler gets grabbed by Magata no Orochi while exposing its weak point, Juggler told Orb to finish him off along with the Great King Demon Beast with it. It's a risky sacrifice but Orb pulled an ultra-explosive finale by using all of the cards to summon his ancestors and put an end to the great monstrosity once and for all. BOOOOM!!!

1) The explosive team-up between X, Ginga, and Victory from episode 14 of Ultraman X is hands down the best New Generation moment I've ever saw. That episode sees Daiichi Ozora, Hikaru Raido, and Show team up to defeat Mold Spectre once and for all and the combined might of Exceed X and Ginga Victory is too awesome to miss.

HONORABLE MENTION: Rem's human form in episode 19 of Ultraman Geed. In that episode where Kei raided our heroes' Nebula House to restore his organs, Sturm organs, and rein terror once more, prompting our heroes to escape, they've encountered a young woman who turned out to be Rem, the artificial intelligence supporting Riku during his adventures. Suzuko Mimori's appearance in a tokusatsu show really shocked the fans, including Love Live fans.

ANOTHER HONORABLE MENTION: Kaiju Booska in episode 17 of Ultraman R/B. The lovable classic kaiju of Tsuburaya Productions made its appearance in a Halloween episode where Asahi, Mitsurugi, and the girls following Pigmon, which lured them to a haunted house with Dada in it.

The Ultraman R/B finale airs today at 9:00 AM Japan Standard Time on TV Tokyo and other affiliates. Check local listings. Also, see the real end of the Minato brothers' journey on Ultraman R/B Select! Kizuna no Crystal, in theaters March 8th, 2019.

Also, to see the best moments from the New Generation Heroes from Ginga to R/B, don't miss the Ultraman New Generation Chronicle series, hosted by Kaiju Booska and Pega, airing this January 5th at 9:00 AM Japan Standard Time on TV Tokyo and other affiliates. Check local listings.
