F1 2023: Grand Prix de Monaco

Last weekend, the F1 2023 season got its Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix dropped due to flooding in Northern Italy. Aware of the situation, Formula 1 did community outreach to those affected by the floods. With their good deeds done, it's back to business with the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix which was set hours before the biggest IndyCar event of the year, the Indy 500.

As the lights went out, the Monaco Grand Prix is on with Max Verstappen making his first strike with his pole position. 11 laps later, Carlos Sainz tries a move but sustained damage on the front wing of the car. As Verstappen continues to dominate, the weather turned gloomy in Lap 52 and things get wet for the drivers. As the race nears its climax, there's no stopping Verstappen now, especially Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon maintaining their podium positions.

In the end, it's another Monaco Grand Prix win for Max Verstappen while Alonso finished 2nd and the Alpine driver Ocon made headlines with his third-place finish. Other finishers include Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, and Pierre Gasly.

After Monaco, Verstappen maintains his lead by 144 points, 39 points ahead of Sergio Perez, while Alonso's in third with 93 points.

The next race is Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the AWS Gran Premio De Espana this June 4th.

F1 2023: Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix

The F1 drivers are feeling the heat in the streets of Miami for the next leg of the F1 23 season, the Miami Grand Prix.

As the lights went out, the street racing action in Miami is on with Max Verstappen making bold moves for the lead and engaged in a heated battle with his fellow Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez. 

In Lap 19, Carlos Sainz pits from P3 because he's unable to get past Fernando Alonso. Unfortunately, he was slapped with a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane.

Halfway through the race, Verstappen's not stopping until he pits in Lap 46, coming out behind Perez in P2. As the end draws near, Verstappen regained the lead from Perez and stayed on until the very end.

Max Verstappen wins the Miami Grand Prix, beating Sergio Perez towards victory lane. It's another 1-2 finish for Red Bull. Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso completes the podium with a third-place finish.

After Miami, the two Red Bull drivers are now 14 points apart, Verstappen's 119 vs. Perez's 105. Alonso's in third with 75 points.

The next race of the F1 23 season will be at Imola for the Qatar Airways Gran Premio del Made In Italy e Dell'Emilia Romagna this May 21st.

F1 2023: Azerbaijan Grand Prix

The streets of Baku, Azerbaijan, come alive with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix of the F1 2023 season as drivers are dishing out in an epic street race.

As the lights went off, the street racing action in Baku is underway with Charles Leclerc getting Max Verstappen on his crosshairs and engaged in a heated battle. As the race intensifies, Nyck De Vries went off track and surrendered, triggering a safety car.

As the race resumed at Lap 14, Fernando Alonso came out of nowhere and swoop down Carlos Sainz at Turn 6.

Halfway through the race, the two Red Bull drivers; Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen, are in the top spots, desperately fighting each other while the other drivers behind them are making bold moves of their own, and as the end draws near, only one of the Red Bull drivers came on top.

In the end, Sergio Perez has successfully fended Max Verstappen off in this Azerbaijani street race of the F1 2023 season while Charles Leclerc completes the podium with a third-place finish. Other finishers include Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, and Lance Stroll.

After Azerbaijan, the two Red Bull drivers now had a six-point gap between them, Verstappen's 93 vs. Perez's 87, while Fernando Alonso's third with 60 points.

The next race of the F1 2023 season will be the Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix this May 7th.

F1 2023: Rolex Australian Grand Prix

The F1 2023 season continues in Melbourne for the Rolex Australian Grand Prix and it's a definite madness from start to finish. A real force majeure in the early stages of the latest F1 season.

As the lights went off, the action in Melbourne is underway with Charles Leclerc spinning out of the race. Come Lap 7, Alex Albon crashed out of the race and a red flag was triggered. 

As the race restarts, Lewis Hamilton is in the lead until Max Verstappen snags it on Lap 12. However, on Lap 18, George Russell surrenders as his car caught fire. Halfway through the race, the three world champions are locked in for a podium fight as Verstappen leads while Hamilton and Fernando Alonso fend each other off. With ten laps to go, Verstappen made a mistake at the last corner and he lost four seconds to Hamilton in P2. As the race nears its end, Kevin Magnussen lost a right rear tire and another red flag was triggered. 

As the race restarted with two laps to go, chaos erupted with a multi-car crash with four cars out of the race since the race restart. Carlos Sainz was slapped with a five-second penalty for his incident with Alonso at the prior restart.

After a chaotic Australian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen is the winner, followed by Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. Other finishers include Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez, Lando Norris, Nico Hulkenberg, Oscar Piastri, and Zhou Guanyu.

After Melbourne, the two Red Bull drivers are leading with a 15-point gap between them, Verstappen's 69 vs. Perez's 54. Alonso's in 3rd with 45 points.

The next race of the F1 '23 season will be the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this April 30th.

F1 2023: STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The F1 2023 season continues on the streets of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for the STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and looks like the drivers are still sweating bullets following the season opener in Bahrain.

As the lights went off, the action in Jeddah is underway with some dramatic chases in store for this race as Lap 21 saw Sergio Perez getting chased by the pack while the following lap saw Lewis Hamilton sneaking through Carlos Sainz of 5th place, and more. Halfway through the race, Alex Albon surrenders following mechanical failures with his car. As the race nears its climax, it's Red Bull's time to shine in Jeddah.

Red Bull delivered a 1-2 finish with Sergio Perez beating Max Verstappen to win the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso, who finished 3rd, got slapped with a 10-second penalty for incorrectly serving his five-second penalty for lining up outside his grid slot. However, following a review submitted by Aston Martin to the FIA, Alonso's third-place finish has been reinstated.

The next race of the F1 2023 season will be in Melbourne for the Rolex Australian Grand Prix this March 31 to April 2.

F1 2023: Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix

The long wait is over. Formula 1 returns for its dramatic 2023 season with some movers and newcomers igniting the flames of the ultimate racing competition. The 2023 season kicked off in Sakhir for the Bahrain Grand Prix. 

As the lights went off, the first race of the season was on with Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso making contact in the opening lap and as Max Verstappen continued his lead, George Russell and Alonso were locked in for a heated battle. In Lap 15, newcomer Oscar Piastri surrendered in his first F1 race due to an electrical failure.

Halfway through the race, Esteban Ocon was penalized for not positioning his car correctly on the grid. With 16 laps left in the race, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is out of the race due to an electrical failure.

In the end, Red Bull delivered a 1-2 finish with Max Verstappen the winner and Sergio Perez finished 2nd while Fernando Alonso scored his 99th career podium after finishing 3rd, his first with the Aston Martin team.

The next race of the F1 2023 season will be at Jeddah for the STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on the 19th of March, 2023.

F1 2022 FINAL

Abu Dhabi is the final stop of the F1 2022 season for the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and this race will mark Sebastian Vettel's 299th and final race of his F1 career. With the whole Brazil drama behind them, especially for champion-elect Max Verstappen, the final race of the F1 season is going to be a memorable one.

As the lights went off, the final race of the 2022 Formula 1 season is on. The opening lap saw Lewis Hamilton lifting his car off after tussling with Carlos Sainz at turn 6 as the Mercedes driver runs wide and cuts the corner at Turn 7. With Verstappen leading the race, plenty of action comes into play as George Russell collides with Lando Norris at the pits, causing the former to be imposed with a five-second penalty. In Lap 28, Fernando Alonso's mechanical issues forced him to retire.

Halfway through the race, the two Red Bull drivers are edging things up in Abu Dhabi. Come lap 39, Mick Schumacher tapped Nicolas Latifi, sending both drivers spinning off, causing Schumacher to be imposed a five-second penalty.

As the race nears its end, Lewis Hamilton suddenly slows down and loses places with just two laps to go, causing him to retire from the race.

In the end, Max Verstappen wins the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix while Charles Leclerc finished 2nd and Sergio Perez finished 3rd. Other finishers include Carlos Sainz, George Russell, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Daniel Ricciardo, and for the final time, Sebastian Vettel.

As the season ended, Max Verstappen is officially this season's champion with 454 points while Charles Leclerc finished this season in 2nd place with 308 points and Sergio Perez in third with 305 points. Red Bull's constructors' championship status has been verified after accumulating 759 points this season while Ferrari ends the season in 2nd with 554 points, and Mercedes-AMG's in third with 515 points.

F1 2022: Heineken Grande Premio de Sao Paulo

Interlagos is the penultimate stop of the F1 22 season with the Heineken Grande Premio de Sao Paulo and following George Russell's win at the F1 Sprint segment, looks like the Mercedes newcomer's showing his full potential in Brazil.

As the lights went off, the penultimate race of the season is on with Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussen colliding in the middle sector during the opening lap. As the race restarted on Lap 7, Lewis Hamilton made contact with champion-elect Max Verstappen, forcing the latter to pit in for repairs, while Lando Norris caused Charles Leclerc to hit the wall. With Verstappen and Norris getting slapped with a five-second penalty, it's everybody's game now.

As the race draws nearer to its climax, Lando Norris threw in the towel at Lap 53 after his car suffered mechanical failures. As the race resumes, the two Mercedes drivers are on the verge of pulling off their first win of the season with George Russell in the lead.

In the end, George Russell nailed his first-ever F1 win and a first for Mercedes after a 1-2 finish with Lewis Hamilton finishing second. Carlos Sainz finished 3rd.

F1 2022: Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico

Max Verstappen and the Red Bull team may be crowned this season's champions but there's still more action left in the F1 2022 season with the Mexico City Grand Prix.

As the lights went out, the action in Mexico is underway with Verstappen off to a great start while Lewis Hamilton is hunting the champion's rear. As the race reaches its 14th lap, Pierre Gasly was penalized for pushing Lance Stroll off the track. After several laps of close action between Verstappen and Hamilton, Lap 51 saw Daniel Ricciardo crash Yuki Tsunoda out of the race, causing the McLaren driver to be slapped with a 10-second penalty. With six laps to go, engine failures prompted Fernando Alonso out of the race, triggering a virtual safety car.

After a 71-lap drama, champion-elect Max Verstappen nailed his 14th win of the season, breaking the record for the most wins in a season. Lewis Hamilton finished 2nd and Sergio Perez finished 3rd. Other finishers include Geroge Russell, Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon, Lando Norris, and Valtteri Bottas.

The next race of the F1 2022 season will be at Interlagos for the Heineken Grande Premio de Sao Paulo this November 13th.

F1 2022: Aramco United States Grand Prix

The Lone Star State roars again as the F1 2022 season continues with the Aramco United States Grand Prix. Following Max Verstappen's championship title win, all eyes are on the constructor's championship as Red Bull is preparing to claim their constructor's championship title for the first time after nearly a decade.

As the lights went off, the action in COTA is on with Carlos Sainz the first to be retired from the race following an opening lap crash with George Russell, which was later slapped with a five-second penalty. Come Lap 18, Valtteri Bottas was beached and the safety car was triggered. As the safety car is still circulating, Lap 21 saw contact between Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso at the restart but they're fine.

As the race restarted on Lap 26, Max Verstappen is fending off Lewis Hamilton while Sergio Perez is close behind in third. As both Verstappen and Hamilton did their pit stops, with the former facing pit troubles, the action continues to heat things up while Sebastian Vettel faced drama at the pit stop that caused his position to drop drastically.

As the climax draws near, Verstappen is hunting down Hamilton and then swats him down.

World champion Verstappen's at it again. His recent win against Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc prompted Red Bull to win the constructor's championship title for the first time after nearly a decade. This is a fitting tribute to the late Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz, who died ahead of the race at the age of 78.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be the Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico this October 30th.

F1 2022: Honda Japanese Grand Prix

After two years, the Japanese Grand Prix returns in the F1 22 season and this race could be the one Max Verstappen's gunning for his second world champion title.

Due to the rainy weather that caused the race to be interrupted and then resumed after a lengthy delay, the Japanese Grand Prix became a timed race, an all-out blitz play for the drivers in the wet, including Verstappen, who is gunning for the world champion title for sure.

At long last, Max Verstappen wins the Japanese Grand Prix and he's now a two-time Formula 1 world champion. Sergio Perez was promoted to 2nd place after Charles Leclerc was penalized for cutting the chicane at the end, dropping the Ferrari driver to 3rd.

Max Verstappen has claimed his second world championship title but the F1 22 season is far from over as the next race will be the Aramco United States Grand Prix at COTA this October 23rd.

F1 2022: Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix

After two years, F1 racing in Asia is back with the Singapore Grand Prix as all eyes are on Max Verstappen's title hunt under city lights.

As the lights went out, the night racing action in Singapore is back. Verstappen's title hunt hits a snag when he was dropped to 12th place from 8th on the opening lap. Come Lap 4, Lewis Hamilton's experiencing grip problems on his car while Lap 7 saw Zhou Guanyu crash out of the race after a collision course with Nicolas Latifi, only to be out a lap later.

With the Safety Car gone on Lap 11, the action continues with Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc on the top, clashing at each other while Max Verstappen's struggling to fight back. On Lap 22, Fernando Alonso's historic 350th race ended in shambles when his car experiences engine failure, triggering a virtual safety car. Also, on Lap 26, Alex Albon crashed into the barriers and triggered the virtual safety car so he can rush to the pits for repairs. Sadly, it was too late and he was out of the race. With Alonso and Albon out while triggering the Virtual Safety Car, Esteban Ocon's the next victim to trigger the virtual safety car.

Moments after Hamilton's disaster on track, Yuki Tsunoda crashed out of the race on Lap 36, triggering the safety car. After a lengthy safety car deployment following a disaster-packed first half, the race resume and it's a disaster for Verstappen as the lock-up made him run wide but gets going again but has to pit for new tires. As the climax draws near, Perez and Leclerc are locked in for a no-holds-barred fight to the finished.

After a disaster-packed night race, Sergio Perez wins the Singapore Grand Prix, beating the two Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in the process. Best of all, Perez wasn't penalized over his safety car drama. Other finishers include Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo, Lance Stroll, Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, and Pierre Gasly.

Looks like Verstappen's title hunt will have to wait but the next race, the Honda Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka this October 8th, he's going to, so stick around.

F1 2022: Pirelli Gran Premio D'Italia

The F1 22 season continues in Monza for the Italian Grand Prix where a familiar face in motorsport gets to be the transfer of the day. Following Alex Albon's appendicitis diagnosis, a Formula E driver named Nyck De Vries takes his place as a Williams driver for the day, marking his F1 debut.

Long before the start of the race, everyone in Monza is taking a moment of silence in memoriam of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

As the lights went off, the action in Monza is on and Max Verstappen is off for some quick gains. With six laps down, Charles Leclerc is leading while Verstappen's chasing Leclerc's six. However, come lap 12, Sebastian Vettel's last day in Monza is done when smoke is poured into his car and pulled out, triggering a virtual safety car. As the race restarts, Verstappen kicks in until he went to the pits on Lap 26. On Lap 33, Fernando Alonso's 349th race ended in tears when the team told him to surrender.

With 43 laps down, Verstappen is now 18 seconds ahead of Leclerc and things are getting more intense when Daniel Ricciardo's experiencing problems, triggering a safety car in the process.

In the end, Max Verstappen wins the Italian Grand Prix while Charles Leclerc finished 2nd and George Russell finished 3rd. Other finishers include Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Perez, Lando Norris, Pierre Gasly, Nyck De Vries, and Zhou Guanyu.

After Monza, Verstappen remains in the lead with 335 points while Charles Leclerc's in 2nd place with 219 points, and Sergio Perez is in third place with 210 points.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be the Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix this October 2.

F1 2022: Heineken Dutch Grand Prix

The F1 22 season continues in Zandvoort for the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix and Max Verstappen is still continuing his winning spree in his homeland.

As the lights went off, the action in Holland is on and Verstappen is charging to the lead while Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, and Lewis Hamilton are hunting him. With one lap down, Kevin Magnussen bumped the barriers but went back fighting. On Lap 15, Carlos Sainz is having trouble in the pits while Leclerc pits first on Lap 18 and followed by Verstappen on the next lap. 20 laps have passed and Hamilton's in the lead but Verstappen is hunting down the two Mercedes drivers.

Midway through the race, Verstappen leads but he's pitting again and, as it stands, he would come out behind Hamilton. Come Lap 45, here's trouble for Yuki Tsunoda as his tire troubles triggered a Safety Car. As the race restarts on Lap 49, Verstappen leads by 13 seconds from Hamilton, and at Lap 54, the gap between them is closing.  Lap 55 saw Valtteri Bottas pull up just before Turn 1 and triggered a Safety Car again. 

With 12 laps to go and the race restarted, Hamilton is in the lead but that doesn't stop Verstappen from crunching him down to the lead and as the end draws near, George Russell overtook Hamilton and moved up to 2nd place.

In the end, Max Verstappen wins the Dutch Grand Prix while George Russell finished 2nd and Charles Leclerc finished 3rd. Other finishers include Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso, Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, Esteban Ocon, and Lance Stroll.

After Holland, Verstappen is still in the lead with 310 points, 9 points ahead of Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be the Pirelli Gran Premio D'Italia this September 11th.

F1 2022: Rolex Belgian Grand Prix

After a summer break, the F1 22 season returns with the Rolex Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps.

As the lights went out, the action begins with Carlos Sainz getting a good start until Lewis Hamilton got flung out of the race following a collision with Fernando Alonso while the next lap saw Nicolas Latifi and Valtteri Bottas involved in the collision that triggered the Safety Car. As the race resumed on Lap 5, Sainz is still leading the race while Max Verstappen is surging through every driver to hunt Sainz. As Sainz pits in on Lap 12, Verstappen leads the race until he went to the pits on Lap 16. Halfway through the race, looks like another busy day for both Verstappen and Sainz until the very end.

In the end, it's a 1-2 finish for Red Bull with Max Verstappen the winner and Sergio Perez the second placer while Ferrari's Carlos Sainz finished 3rd. Other finishers include George Russell, Fernando Alonso, Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, Sebastian Vettel, Pierre Gasly, and Alex Albon.

After Spa, Verstappen remains in the lead with 284 points while Sergio Perez jumped to 2nd place and he's now five points ahead of Charles Leclerc.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be at Zandvoort for the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix this September 4.

F1 2022: Aramco Magyar Nagydij

The Hungaroring is the next stop for the F1 22 season with the Aramco Magyar Nagydij as Max Verstappen continues to fill his victory-laden resume with another intense race.

The race kicked off with Alex Albon sustaining damage after contact in the opening few corners, triggering a yellow flag in the process. As the race restarts on Lap 4, Max Verstappen's charging to the top has begun while George Russell keeps his cool while in the lead. Come Lap 25, Danny Ricciardo's getting serious as he slips through the two Alpine drivers for 10th place while Charles Leclerc's hunting down Russell. In Lap 35, Yuki Tsunoda spins while coming out of the chicane but he's returned to the fight. 

Halfway through the race, Leclerc is leading until he went to the pits on Lap 40 and returned to the race to have some unfinished business against Verstappen. Despite getting spun in a middle of a fight against Leclerc, Verstappen's coming back for more. In Lap 48, Ricciardo was slapped with a five-second penalty following his clash with Lance Stroll. 

20 laps remaining, Lewis Hamilton leads but has to pit again before the finish. As Max Verstappen regains the lead on Lap 56, the race couldn't get even more thrilling until a yellow flag was triggered with just two laps to go when Valtteri Bottas experienced a power failure on his car.

Starting 10th, spun in a middle of a race against Leclerc, Max Verstappen wins the Hungarian Grand Prix of the F1 22 season, beating the two Mercedes drivers in the top spot.

After Hungary, Verstappen leads with 258 points while Charles Leclerc's in 2nd with 178 points and Sergio Perez is in 3rd with 173 points.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be at Spa-Francorchamps for the Rolex Belgian Grand Prix this August 28th.

F1 2022: Lenovo Grand Prix de France

The Paul Ricard racetrack is the next stop for the F1 22 season with the Lenovo Grand Prix de France.

As the lights went out, the French Grand Prix is underway with Fernando Alonso surging through the competition while Yuki Tsunoda made contact with Esteban Ocon and then spun. With Charles Leclerc leading after Lap 3, Max Verstappen is on the hunt for Leclerc. As Verstappen's hunt for Leclerc continues, Lewis Hamilton's making great strides in 3rd. As the race heats up, Charles Leclerc sadly crashed at Lap 18 and surrendered heartbrokenly. As the race restarted at Lap 21, Verstappen is in the lead with Hamilton and Sergio Perez chasing him. Lap 24 saw Carlos Sainz Jr. slapped with a 5-second penalty for an unsafe release on Lap 19. As the race reached its 37th lap, Nicolas Latifi and Kevin Magnussen made contact but returned to the circuit while Lap 42 saw George Russell and Sergio Perez making contact. With three laps left, Zhou Guanyu retires.

F1 2022: Rolex Grosser Preis von Osterreich

Spielberg's Red Bull Ring is the next stop for the F1 22 season with the Rolex Grosser Preis von Osterreich.

With the lights out, the Austrian Grand Prix kicked off...with Sergio Perez spinning off into the Turn 4 gravel after contact with George Russell but he returned to the race in last place. As the race reached its 12th lap, George Russel was slapped with a 5-second penalty for the incident with Perez. 30 laps have passed and Max Verstappen's in the lead while Charles Leclerc continues to hunt him down. As the two clash each other for the lead, Lap 58 saw Carlos Sainz Jr. throw in the towel due to engine failure. With Leclerc leading after Lap 60, the climax is where he's cashing out for the win.

In the end, Charles Leclerc wins the Austrian Grand Prix while Verstappen finished 2nd and Lewis Hamilton finished 3rd. Other finishers include George Russell, Esteban Ocon, Mick Schumacher, Lando Norris, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo, and Fernando Alonso.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be at Paul Ricard track for the Lenovo Grand Prix de France on July 24.

F1 2022: Lenovo British Grand Prix

Silverstone is the next stop for the F1 22 season with the Lenovo British Grand Prix.

As the lights went off, the race begins with a tragic twist. Rookie driver Zhou Guanyu tragically crashed at the start of the race and was hospitalized. Thankfully, he survived and he's undergoing treatment. As the race restarts, it's an all-out gamble for Carlos Sainz Jr. as he's fighting against the opposition to turn his pole position into a win. As the race reached Lap 21, Valtteri Bottas retires after his car experienced gearbox failures. In addition, Lap 39 saw Esteban Ocon experiencing problems, triggering a safety car. As the race resumes, Sainz goes all-out.

Carlos Sainz Jr. claimed his first F1 win in Silverstone while Sergio Perez finished 2nd and Lewis Hamilton finished 3rd. Other finishers include Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, Mick Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, and Kevin Magnussen.

After Silverstone, Max Verstappen remains in the lead with 181 points, 34 points ahead of Sergio Perez, while Charles Leclerc stays 3rd with 138 points.

F1 2022: AWS Grand Prix du Canada

Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve is the next stop of the F1 22 season with the AWS Grand Prix du Canada. Father's Day couldn't get even more exciting than this intense racing action in the heart of Montreal.

As the lights went off, the battle royale in Montreal is on with Kevin Magnussen experiencing problems with the front wing following an opening lap clash with Lewis Hamilton, therefore resulting in him going to the pits. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez was pulled out of the race following gearbox failures that triggered a virtual safety car. As the race resumed with Verstappen going all out, Lap 20 saw Mick Schumacher out of the race. Halfway through the race, Verstappen tries to outgun Hamilton in the lead until Lap 49 saw Yuki Tsunoda crashing to the wall and therefore out of the race. As the climax draws near, Verstappen got what he wants; a lead.

In the end, Max Verstappen delivered his pole-to-win feat in Canadian Grand Prix for the first time while Carlos Sainz finished 2nd and Lewis Hamilton finished 3rd.

After Canada, Verstappen's in the lead with 175 points while Sergio Perez is 46 points behind and Charles Leclerc's in 3rd with 126 points.

The next race of the F1 22 season will be the Lenovo British Grand Prix in Silverstone this July 3rd.
