F1 2023: STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The F1 2023 season continues on the streets of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for the STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and looks like the drivers are still sweating bullets following the season opener in Bahrain.

As the lights went off, the action in Jeddah is underway with some dramatic chases in store for this race as Lap 21 saw Sergio Perez getting chased by the pack while the following lap saw Lewis Hamilton sneaking through Carlos Sainz of 5th place, and more. Halfway through the race, Alex Albon surrenders following mechanical failures with his car. As the race nears its climax, it's Red Bull's time to shine in Jeddah.

Red Bull delivered a 1-2 finish with Sergio Perez beating Max Verstappen to win the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso, who finished 3rd, got slapped with a 10-second penalty for incorrectly serving his five-second penalty for lining up outside his grid slot. However, following a review submitted by Aston Martin to the FIA, Alonso's third-place finish has been reinstated.

The next race of the F1 2023 season will be in Melbourne for the Rolex Australian Grand Prix this March 31 to April 2.
