WALWAL

The term "walwal" is just a synonym for the popular phrase "YOLO", meaning You Only Live Once and in this month's offering from Star Cinema, a four young men are trying to live their lives to the fullest as they've reached the critical stage of their adulthood.

WALWAL

Starring Elmo Magalona, Jerome Ponce, Kiko Estrada, Donny Pangilingan, Kisses Delavin, Devon Seron, Jane De Leon, and Sofia Senoron, WALWAL is about four young men who've known each other since high school and now college sophomores as they tag themselves to face the biggest changes of their lives, no matter how good, bad, and rough things are going to be.

This latest offering reminded us of all the youth films from the past such as TRIP, JOLOGS, GIMIK The Reunion, The Reunion, and many others because while this is basically a youth-focused film that brings WALWAL to a whole new meaning, there's so much to get accommodated with this film. With a blend of laughter, sadness, and anger in store for them, this film really is a mixed bag of emotions that won't go unnoticed and such emotions really portray the millennials of today because this is how you, I, and the rest do most of the time.

While this film can be utterly described as above average, WALWAL is the ideal barkada film that you can spend your weekends with your pals and discover what real friendship is all about.

Kasal (2018 film)

As the summer season in the Philippines is drawing nearer to its end, Star Cinema presents moviegoers this month's offering in the form in a very though-provoking drama film that stars three of the most highly respected stars in Philippine showbizness.

Kasal

Directed by Ruel S. Bayani and it stars, Bea Alonzo, Paulo Avelino, and Derek Ramsay, Kasal is a film about a young woman set to marry Cebu's most eligible bachelor and mayoral candidate until her ex-boyfriend works for a project that will help him win the elections. Torn between two men, how can a woman like choose which destiny she'll end up with?

As the film points out, it really is a thought-provoking film that blurs the line between relationships and politics as pointed out by the characters and the storyline and while it seems average by such standards, moviegoers can really hang themselves to this film until the bitter end to witness the intense drama that really grips them like a primetime teleserye in so many ways and as the film progresses, the drama gets intense by the minute until how the film unfolds in a way too hard to describe.

Gripping it maybe, this film, despite being too average, is definitely a must watch for the tearjerkers in them and one of the ideal ways to spend the last days of your summer vacation by watching this film.

My rating: 3.5 out 5.

Torchwood: Believe

After a decade of parting ways, the original Torchwood cast are reunited for their very special installment of Big Finish Productions' Torchwood audio drama CD range and this special installment brings back memories to Torchwood fans new and old about how the original five members tag along each other right until the inevitable as demonstrated from the TV series' season two finale.

Torchwood: Believe

This is Torchwood: Believe and this special installment brings back the original cast with John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper, Naoko Mori as Toshiko Sato, Gareth David-Lloyd as Ianto Jones, and Burn Gorman as Dr. Owen Harper. Talk about a reunion in the making after a decade of separation from the TV series, eh? Brings back memories.

Anyway, the Torchwood Cardiff team are on a race-against-time scenario as a fanatical cult claimed that mankind has evolved to reach through the stars above and working against the clock, the team must uncover the truth behind The Church of the Outsiders' self-proclaimed prophecy and put a stop to it once and for all.

Listening them all together is like reliving the golden days of how the original Torchwood cast get along each other through good times and bad times and Believe is a tour de force in all of the untold missions unearthed from the ruins of the Torchwood archives by blending every classic Torchwood moment like clockwork with all the action, suspense, thrills, and a few laughs in between, making it a must have for those who can't get enough of Torchwood or those who are welcomed to Torchwood for the first time. Following the success of its Torchwood special releases like Outbreak, Believe is one of the great reasons why we are fans of Torchwood and this helluva reunion of the main characters really made us wish we want to be with them for the rest of our lives.

Torchwood: The Last Beacon

Unearthed from the ruins of the Torchwood archives, this latest installment of the long line of the Torchwood drama CDs provided by Big Finish Productions is a first of its kind because in an unexpected matter, one of the cast members took the liberty to pen this installment's storyline for the fans to listen to.

Torchwood: The Last Beacon

Titled The Last Beacon, Gareth David-Lloyd, who plays Ianto Jones in the Torchwood series, has been given free rein to write this installment's storyline where he and Burn Gorman, who plays Dr. Owen Harper, are starred in this untold mission where they race against time to get through the Welsh mountains to shut down a mysterious beacon that summons a legendary alien race threatening Earth, only to found out that this mission became a camping trip for our tea boy.

The tea boy's been the favorite character in Torchwood since the very beginning and with Gareth David-Lloyd penned this very storyline, listeners can really hear the very progress he has done to deliver this latest untold mission the master stroke it delivers, showing the world what the untold glory days of Torchwood are made of or capable of. Blending horror, thriller, and a little bit of sense of humor in classic Torchwood tradition, there's no arguing this installment fits perfect to your Torchwood collection, whether if you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the Doctor Who spinoff.

Look forward for more in the Torchwood collection soon from Big Finish Productions!

My 2 Mommies

What happens if you have been given opportunity to become the mother of a certain child, even if you're not expected to be? As a Mother's Day offering, Regal Entertainment presents them "My 2 Mommies", a different kind of comedy-drama about two different people accepting the inevitable task to become the mother of a certain child.

My 2 Mommies

Starring Eat Bulaga presenter Paolo Ballesteros, actress Solenn Heussaff, and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano, with Joem Bascon, Dianne Medina and Marcus Cabais,  this film is about a man who becomes a stepdad to a certain kid but because of his homosexual antics, he's not fit to be a stepdad but instead, bracing his feminine side while maintaining bonds with his new stepson.

Although this film is downright crazy and oddball it may be, this film does have a heart and showcases the true meaning of parenthood, no matter who you really are, and it really is worth something to watch in the eve of Mother's Day. It maybe absurd to watch if you're not sort of interested in homosexual people portrayed in this film but by bringing together some of the most colorful yet suggestive themes to this film, which is decent for comedy-drama standards, My 2 Mommies is worth the catch to watch and there's a lot less to argue about it, whether you like it or not.

Torchwood: The Death of Captain Jack

Captain John Hart (played by James Marsters), a wild ex-time agent who lives by his own rules, lives to tell the tale on the final moments of Captain Jack Harkness (played by John Barrowman) in the first of the Torchwood audio drama CDs rolling out for the year 2018 and expect madness in store for this latest mission full of dark humor.

Torchwood: The Death of Captain Jack

Written by David Llewellyn and directed by Scott Handcock, this latest Torchwood mission not only brings back the ones mentioned about but also familiar faces such as Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper, Gareth David-Lloyd as Ianto Jones, Kai Owen as Rhys Williams, and Tom Price as Sgt. Andy Davidson, among many others. In this mission, the death kneel of Captain Jack is nigh and in his deathbed comes a wild ex-time agent to tell the tale about something he should have had.

This is all about the madness Captain John Hart unleashed throughout the pages of history and and in typical Torchwood fashion, you can really feel the madness plunging through the atmosphere as you follow along with this deranged by unique storytelling only Captain John could ever imagined and while this is downright crazy and downright vile, it fits right perfectly to one of our favorite villains ever mentioned from the Torchwood archives.

Fans of the Doctor Who spinoff series are very pleased about the return of Captain John Hart ever since his madness spills from the first and the last episode of the second series and with this audio drama, his madness forever plagues through the hearts of many because fans surely missed that wild attitude of his. This is a must-listen for every Torchwood fan, even if they are on a mood to listen to some of the forgotten archives from the history of Torchwood and looks like we have to give the hardworking folks from Big Finish a paralyzing kiss. Literally. Like Captain John does.

My Perfect You

My Perfect You
As the summer season draws near in the Philippines, Star Cinema's offering for the month of March pits two of the most high profile celebrities for the very first time as actor Gerald Anderson pairs up with former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach for a rom-com film about an odd couple living in two different lives until fate brought them together.

The film is titled My Perfect You and it was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, well known for her works on romantic films you are familiar with. In this film, Wurtzbach plays the role of a woman who runs a hostel, and Anderson plays a role of man who tries to lost his job because of his bitter heartbreak. When one fateful day brought them together, it's hard to guess the possible outcome between the two and how the film unfolds is also worth the guessing.

We know that this is the second time we saw Wurtzbach starring a film ever since she appeared at last Christmas' The Revenger Squad, but the film is downright regular by the feel of it. It maybe too decent and too average by rom-com standards but this film is as smooth as a nut and it takes time to get used to the backdrop of the film about two different people living in a quiet place for a second shot of love. It may not be exciting to look at but it's worth relaxing to watch this film from start to finish with no questions asked.

My rating: 3.8 out of 5.

The La Luna Sangre finale

La Luna Sangre is the third chapter of the saga that started it all with Lobo since 2008 and then Imortal two years later. It's about Malia, the daughter of the main characters from Imortal, and Tristan, a wise-cracking young chap, who are separated by a curse while trying to show their love to themselves while dealing with a powerful vampire named Sandrino, who is the son of Magnus, who was slain by Lia and the La Liga Unida as seen in the Imortal finale years ago. Throughout the series, within separate ways, the two are trying to expose the Supreme One's weaknesses and now, it all comes to this; the Apocalypse as Sandrino's plot for mass slaughter comes into fruition.

Previously, as Jethro predicts that millions will die in the middle of blood moon, Tristan wants Malia to work together to put a stop to Sandrino's heinous plot for global genocide. Now, in the finale, Tristan arrives on the scene to face off against Sandrino for one last time as the two blood brothers engage on a do-or-die duel while millions of humans had their minds controlled by Sandrino's powers.

As the battle continues, Tristan tries to persuade Sandrino to put a stop to it until the cursed ink split Sandrino and the Supreme One apart, knowing that Sandrino prepares to atone for his sins. However, the Supreme One returns to Sandrino's body and the battle continues. Meanwhile, the Moonchasers and the La Liga Unida are trying to put a stop to this mass hypnotism.

As Sandrino critically damaged Tristan, Malia steps in and the battle rages on. As the battle rages on, Sandrino killed Malia but because of the love between Malia and Tristan, they gave their last inch of power to kill Sandrino once and for all. With the Supreme One killed, Sandrino said his final words, thanking them from freeing him from his inner demon before his demise.

With Tristan, Malia, and the rest finally saved the world, things are back to normal and that concludes the story of La Luna Sangre.

Sin Island

What we have here is something we, the movie-loving Filipinos, never had for several years, a steamy, sexy, and savage bold movie from Star Cinema that wants to capture the heydays of our Seiko Films fantasy. Well, you get the point but since Sin Island is Star Cinema's offering for the month of February, it's hard to describe what their first bold movie in decades feels like.

Sin Island

Starring Coleen Garcia, Nathalie Hart, and Xian Lim, Sin Island highlights on the story of David and Kanika who are happily married until Kanika's adultery ruined their relationship, causing David to make an affair with a woman named Tasha.

Being a typical Pinoy bold movie, it kind of feels like you're in a middle of a Seiko Films bold movie but this isn't a Seiko Film junk, this is a Star Cinema creation and it's directed by Gino M. Santos and because this film is as steamy, sexy, and savage as a Seiko Film movie, looking away might be the ideal bet because the scenes on this film are too intense even for mature viewing audiences. All that sexual depictions, all that savagery, and all that boldness, it's hard to fathom why they resurrect the Pinoy bold movie genre with Sin Island and that's just the bottom of the story.

The 15:17 to Paris

It was the late summer of 2015 in France, which became the hotbed for terrorist attacks ever since the Charlie Hebdo attack, when a noteworthy of Americans managed to subdue a gunman while the train arrives from Amsterdam to Paris. They were rewarded for their bravery with the Legion d'Honneur from the then-President Francois Hollande. That story became memorable in these darkest of times and this biopic explains the untold story of the men who became heroes in times like these.

The 15:17 to Paris

The 15:17 to Paris is an intriguing but powerful biopic film that centers on the lives of three men; an off-duty US airman, Spencer Stone, a US National Guard Alek Skarlatos, and a student named Anthony Sadler, whose efforts to foiled a terrorist attack on a Paris-bound train became known the world over. This film gives viewers a glimpse of who are these men from the struggles of their childhood and leads up to that fateful moment they've became heroes. It centers on the theme of friendship, which is their greatest weapon that trumped against all odds and this biopic is something worth watching for and we can all learn something from the heroes depicted on this film.

Watching this film gives viewers a clear perspective on who are these three men are even though they are familiar with those names from the news a few years ago and it's been an honor for someone to make a biopic about these three just so they can get to know about them from a whole new approach. Learning from this film, The 15:17 to Paris puts cooperation first before themselves and by working together, we can accomplish everything as demonstrated by this powerful film about three heroes who stopped an attacker from attempting a terrorist attack. This is something the whole world should be watching.

My rating: 3.9 out of 5.

Fifty Shades Freed

The steamy saga that rocked millions of readers worldwide has reached its fiery conclusion as Fifty Shades Freed is the gripping conclusion that delivers a pulse-pounding suspense to the life and times of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Fifty Shades Freed

Set after the events from the last two installments of the Fifty Shades trilogy, this steamy and scandalous finale to the trilogy highlights Christian and Ana (played by Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson), now a married couple, as they had everything they need in their world; love, passion, intimacy, and wealth. They should have get the happily ever after they truly deserve but that's not what was supposed to be because all of their successes come with a hefty price to pay as Ana and Christian's deepest darkest fears turn into reality.

The conclusion really is a steamy and scandalous experience for those who had enough for those cheesy romantic flicks this Valentines season and with all that intense, erotic psychological thrills in store, it really is the ideal film for the quiet movie date night even for couples and those who are catching up to the Fifty Shades saga. If by catching up, you should because before you see the conclusion, you need to see the first two first before setting off to watch the intense finale to the story of Ana and Christian. If you do, you are ready to give in to temptation of something blue or the forbidden fruit that spirals them out of control.

The conclusion of the Fifty Shades saga really is as savage as a spinout and as sexy as the previous two so if you got the urge for something steamy, sexy, and savage, you should witness the finale to see how the two unfolds.

My rating: 4.1 out of 5.

Torchwood: Aliens Among Us 3

Here we are, the final installment of the Aliens Among Us saga that promises listeners an edge-of-their-seat thrills and unexpected plot twits compared to the previous installments as the Torchwood team struggles to uncover the truth while being under fire from the conspiracies too hot to handle.

Torchwood: Aliens Among Us 3
In this gripping finale to the Aliens Among Us saga, we are welcomed with the last four thrilling episodes that will shock the fans of Torchwood with plot twists no one saw it coming. One of them is the shocking return of the woman who thought she was killed in the battle of the Canary Wharf a decade ago, Yvonne Hartman (played by Tracy-Ann Oberman, who reprises her Doctor Who role in the Torchwood One audio drama series). While the shocking reappearance of Yvonne Hartman is something fans are worrying about, there could be more happening later on in the final installment such as Captain Jack's involvement with the terrorists, wave of vigilante crime, and an impending armageddon only the Torchwood team can take a crack at.

It's been quite a wild ride for fans of the legendary Doctor Who spinoff about a former time agent investigating alien threats while dealing with  world affairs and this final installment of the Aliens Among Us saga really hits us where it goes thanks to its unpredictable storytelling, memorable cast of characters, and the plot twists that keeps on going like clockwork. If you're catching up, buy the final installment on the Big Finish website or if you're new, buy the whole bundle so you can experience the Aliens Among Us saga from start to finish and watch out for the next wave of Torchwood audio dramas coming soon.

Unexpectedly Yours

Unexpectedly Yours
Megastar Sharon Cuneta and action star Robin Padilla returns on the big screen but this time they star in a rather unusual rom-com about a fateful reunion after so many years have passed in a rather unexpected way they never saw it coming.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the film Unexpectedly Yours stars Sharon and Robin as former high school friends reunited but only this time, they're neighbors and their kids are starting to turn their lives around. It also stars Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, among many others.

A rom-com with some values...that is very unheard of compared to every Filipino rom-coms you are familiar with and such values shouldn't be overlooked upon and this film really onto something here. Sure it has some above average bits that is rather typical in Filipino rom-coms but Unexpectedly Yours really does it rather nicely to give cinemagoers a value they will cherish it once the film ends.

Although nothing special to expect from a film that brings back two of the best stars in the industry, this rom-com is worth relaxing to watch and above all, it's rather good in so much ways.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Fall Back (2017 film)

Fall Back

It's the hump of November and we have another rom-com movie on our sights now at the end of our work day as Star Cinema and CINEKO brings them a new rom-com film starring Zanjoe Marudo, Rhian Ramos, and Daniel Matsunaga, among many others. It's called Fall Back and it's directed by Jason Paul Laxamana.

This film is all about a woman who was feared of getting herself hurt in love but she's always prepared with whatever means necessary in her encounter with her present boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend. Like most rom-com films, it never really hooks the viewers because it can be a tad above average or decent if you may but despite its flaws, this film is a decent view for everyone and they can watch it until the end of the movie, even when they're sleep-deprived or not looking, as long as you have a knowing that watching movie is fun, not for talking about serious stuff because while this movie is not as serious as any Pinoy rom-com movies you are familiar with, it's a good watch and you can really feel some hugot vibes on this movie because being a hugot movie, it really pulls your heart off like a cold comfort in a dark room.

Still, this film has some positivity throughout this hugot-prone rom-com because while it's somewhat above average, it can be somewhat rather nice.

My rating: 3.4 out of 5.

Murder on the Orient Express

If you are a big fan of the Agatha Christie novels, you may have heard that one of her famous works has adapted to a movie and this mystery suspense movie keeps moviegoers guessing to the very end while answering the most complicating question of all; who's behind the Murder on the Orient Express?

Murder on the Orient Express
This movie adaptation of one of Agatha Christie's famous novels stays true to the one it's based upon and in this story, it's about a train ride through Europe turned into a murder mystery where everyone is a suspect. With thirteen passengers stranded on a train where everyone's a suspect, one man races against time to solve the puzzle before one of them gets murdered. This film features a powerhouse cast that brings life to this suspense flick such as Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad.

The film is pretty much pleasant at first, meaning there's nothing special about it, but when the suspense kicks in right in the middle of the film, Murder on the Orient Express is starting to unravel its frightening pace as a murder mystery flick that stresses the moviegoers into thinking who's behind it and suspense aside, this is probably worth a ride to experience the tense moments of the film to the very end where everything's come full circle. Start guess what you want because when this film progresses, you are one close away to know the truth and if you had enjoyed it, you'd probably start talking about what you like the most about this film.

My rating: 3.8 out of 5.

Torchwood: Aliens Among Us 2

Torchwood: Aliens Among Us, the true sequel of the Torchwood saga set after the dramatic events of Miracle Day, sees Captain Jack and Gwen revived Torchwood from the ground up while dealing with a brand new threat emerging through the streets of Cardiff. In the previous installment, listeners witnessed the newest Torchwood mission from Tyler's arrival in Cardiff, the Ro-Jedda conspiracy, a mysterious agreement between a contractor and an alien race in question, and the lines between the rich and poor have been blurred out of the question. Now it's time for the second installment of the Aliens Among Us saga.

Torchwood: Aliens Among US 2

In the second installment of the Aliens Among Us saga, Torchwood has been reborn but Cardiff's changed much like today's world affairs and as the world keeps getting darker and darker, how can the newly revived Torchwood deal with today's harsh scenarios. Fans can expect what's next in four additional new missions that will keep them hanging through the cliffhanger. The first one sees the sudden disappearance of Captain Jack while Torchwood deals with the new mayor of Cardiff as well as an extremist group wreaking havoc throughout the Welsh metropolis. The second one sees the team solving the mystery of the Ritz Towers and the return of a familiar foe. The third one sees the Deliverables conspiracy, and finally, this is where it gets even interesting, the extrajudicial killings of refugees on the streets of Cardiff.

Every chapter packs more suspense compared to the first installment and because Aliens Among Us draws some inspiration from today's world affairs, you can really tell that you can relate the moments you've witnessed on these new missions to what's happening in the world today, giving a parallel taste between fact and fiction at the same pace. This is classic Torchwood at its very finest, even in its terrifying pace because of the highly relatable storyline that blends what's real with what's not in a typical Torchwood fashion.

Catch up on the first volume before getting your hands on the second volume of Aliens Among Us and don't miss the third installment of this new Torchwood saga coming this early 2018!

Seven Sundays

Veteran director Cathy Garcia-Molina is back for her latest masterpiece from Star Cinema; a family-valued drama movie that centers on a group of siblings trying to patch things up because of the inevitable occurred on their everyday lives.

Seven Sundays

Starring Ronaldo Valdez, Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil, and many other well-known celebrities in the industry, Seven Sundays is about the Bonifacio children who are reunited when they heard the news that their father is diagnosed with cancer. While being aware with their father's fatal condition, the children must learn to put their bitter differences aside and reconcile with each other before its too late.

At long last, after months of too much raunchy hot girls, absurd horror, redundant rom-coms, and other stuff we saw throughout 2017, they finally given us a very sensual family-oriented movie with sensual family values that is very ethical for the modern Filipino families. Because of the values this film has, Seven Sundays really warms the hearts of many moviegoers with some common sense and life lessons we can all learn from this movie. Just by watching this movie, you will realize that all the family values you will learn from this film are all part of your slice of life for the rest of your life and this film really sums it up to show the real value of family values for everyone to witness.

My rating: 4 out of 5.

THE IDOLM@STER.KR finale

THE IDOLM@STER.KR, a South Korean TV drama inspired by Bandai Namco's hit video game franchise, THE IDOLM@STER, revolves on the life and times of ten girls; Suji, Youngjoo, Yukika, Sori, Jane, JeeWon, JiSeul, HaSeo, YeEun, and Mint, on their road to become K-Pop superstars from the comfort of their talent agency they called home; the 825 ENTERTAINMENT.

THE IDOLM@STER.KR

Since the beginning, their lives went out of control ever since the death of a member of a successful girl group and in the case of Producer Shin Hyuk Kang (played by Sung Hoon) who witnessed her death, well, you get the idea. With the advent of 825 ENTERTAINMENT, the girls are adapting to their new lives while the producer tries to move on from the tragic moment upon the fateful encounter of Suji, who happens to be the twin sister of the late popstar he had an affair with.

For six months, the whole world witness how the Real Girls Project rose, fell to their knees, and then risen again after numerous odds that come across, including the scandal that plagued the agency and HaSeo's secret to her family was blown and locked her up at her home for good.

Now, the finale. How did it turned out? Following the producer's resignation from the agency because of the scandal, Suji and Youngjoo came up with a brilliant plan that will save their ruined reputations and that meant going around town with a surprise show to spread the word. Meanwhile, Producer Kang and his boss are remembering the time when he will settle the loans to him on a due notice.

Suji, meanwhile, met up with the reporter behind the scandal she leaked throughout the world. When Suji tries to give the reporter an invitation to their "final mission", the reporter disagrees and they made arguments about how Suah died because of that producer. But in the end, the reporter decided to watch their concert as long as Suji tells the truth.

After Suji left the invitation to Suah's wake, the producer suddenly arrives and picked the invitation, and then he rushes off to the park where the two encountered themselves and Suji gave him a shoelace that he gave it to her in an earlier episode.

After a day of publicity stunts, the time has come for the girls to shine at the Hanggang Outdoor Court. The girls are feeling hopeful everyone will watch, including HaSeo who tries to sneak her way out until she was caught off-guard by her brother and her grandfather. However, her grandfather let HaSeo go to the concert. Change of heart, isn't it?

When HaSeo arrives, a sudden downpour occurs, leaving them no choice but cower in agony when their concert's going to be postponed. Their boss said he's going to cancel the event because the stage is too slippery after the rainfall and there aren't enough audiences in the venue. Just as we thought all is lost, the producer makes his grand comeback, saying the concert will proceed as planned. Despite the slippery stage and the lack of audience, the Real Girls Project proceed as planned for their first and last concert onstage.

Day after the concert, Suji's back to her normal life...only this time, she's a commercial model. Not only that, the whole country witnessed a viral video about the Real Girls Project's "slip and slide stage" concert and because of their sudden popularity, the RGP''s dream to perform at a mass audience came true. Youngjoo, on the other hand, held a jamming session alongside her sister. Everything's gone well for these two. The reporter, meanwhile, rewrote the whole truth about what happened to Suah and things are back to the way things were. The finale ends with the Real Girls Project performing onstage with the show's theme song, DREAM.

And that is the end of THE IDOLM@STER.KR. When the project began last year, many girls from across the globe wanted to vie for the spot to be in the show and thanks to numerous supporters, Suji, Youngjoo, and all the other girls became honorary part of THE IDOLM@STER franchise as the Real Girls Project. We watched them mature through six months, 24 episodes, meet and greets across South Korea and Japan, and digital singles, and thanks to their new kind of fanbase, the whole world will remember who are the REAL GIRLS PROJECT. The show maybe over but who knows what's in store for them next.

As part of saying thanks for watching THE IDOLM@STER.KR, the REAL GIRLS PROJECT are holding two fan meetings this November. They'll be in Japan on the 3rd of November and then in South Korea on the 11th of November.

RGP FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

Last Night (film)

Imagine having your stay in a hotel for a night, you'd encounter someone having his stay at the same hotel and has the same fate as yours. Sharing common ground, you'd became fast friends with that someone. So, what happens next? In this film made by Star Cinema, Spring Films, and N2, we find out more about the two strangers who ended up became fast friends because of that certain fate that brought them together.

Last Night

Last Night is a romantic drama film that stars Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga and this is all about two different strangers residing at the hotel while sharing the same fate that involves committing suicide because of their bitter pasts. That fateful encounter between two different strangers coping with their painful backstories became a wonderful moment they would remember forever.

In typical rom-com style, this film is tad decent and there's nothing special about a film that only featured two characters that revolve the storyline like clockwork. In fact, this film is somewhat regular for its own good but in terms of chemistry, seeing the two of them can be an above average experience for the moviegoers, especially those who are big fans of either Piolo, Toni, or both. Come to think of it, there's nothing wrong with it but as a whole, I guess this is how a rom-com like this film is capable of, blocking every distraction and get the film along very smoothly with almost no excitement whatsoever. Only romance and romance is what Last Night goes like clockwork.

My rating: 3 out of 5.
