Getting to know Milo Murphy's Law!

There's a new show airing on Disney XD this October. It's about this smart teenage boy and he gets into all sorts of trouble while having the "best day ever". It's called Milo Nurphy's Law and there are a few reasons why you should like this new cartoon.

At first glance, you can imagine that this new Disney cartoon looks and feels like our longtime favorite Disney cartoon, Phineas and Ferb, and that's true because this new show is made by the same people behind Phineas and Ferb. Yep, the blokes behind the new show, Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh were responsible for it and while the two shows are different, they both share the same mantra; making your boring day very exciting with a little imagination...and obviously, some thrills.

Just like Phineas and Ferb, the new show features two 15-minute episodes every week (and rarely a full 30-minute episode mix in with them) and every episode; Milo Murphy (voiced by comedian Wierd Al Yankovic) and pals get through all sorts of trouble; be it runaway train, falling debris, natural calamities, even getting abducted by aliens.

Yes, I witnessed the first two adventures of Milo and pals; Zack and Melissa, and with everything falling on them, this new show packs some good vibes and there's a reason to smile about it. For a walking disaster like Milo, this show got our excitement flowing through our veins and we really wish our life is as thrilling as Milo's, if we're prepared for the worst because the worst things to come could be our best day ever and this new show means a lot.

Milo Murphy's Law is airing on Disney XD on the 3rd of October. Check local listings. For those with the WATCH Disney XD app can watch the pilot episode anytime.

My favorite Star vs. the Forces of Evil moments

The new season of Disney XD's hit TV show, Star vs. the Forces of Evil kicks off tomorrow morning and it's great to see the universe's ridiculously ugly (but downright funny) magical girl from the Kingdom of Mewni, Star Butterfly, and her best friend from Earth, Marco Diaz, back for more adventures. In honor of the show's new season tomorrow, time to jot down my favorite Star moments; the good, the bad, and the downright ugly (just like Star herself).

1) Star Butterfly is a wayward princess from the Kingdom of Mewni who loves adventures and kicking monsters' butts. On her 14th birthday, her parents, the king and queen of Mewni, gave her the magic wand and promised her to take full responsibility...which she didn't. Because of the fiasco, her parents exiled her to the Earth dimension...which she find this dimension rather amusing. Upon encountering with a high school boy named Marco, things get spiraled out of control until an evil baddie named Ludo and his henchmen plotting to steal Star's magic wand to take control of the universe. Can't say whatever the heck's going on but we had fun watching the first episode where a partnership between a mischief-making princess and a buttkicking Earth boy are forged for many endeavors to come.

2) To compensate from Star's poor grade from the exams, she plays matchmaker to Ms. Skullnick, until she turned her into a monstrous troll, which wowed the crowd. Unknown by them, Ludo and his henchmen take advantage of the situation and attack Star for the wand. While the gang busy buttkicking Ludo's henchmen, one of them fell in love with Ms. Skullnick. Well, you get the idea but it's ridiculously funny to see, especially when we want to "feel the love".

3) Afraid that when Star's magic wand loses all her power, all of the wand's magic will be disappeared forever, she and Marco warped to a dimensional shop called Quest Buy to buy a new charger for her wand. However, they've been tailed by Ludo and the chase is on for the wand's new charger. Wow, for a magical girl like her, she can be very absent-minded when she realized that her wand's charger got sucked by a vacuum cleaner that Marco used at the end of the episode.

4) It's Marco's parents' anniversary and the gang tries to find a perfect present for them. Despite Star's parents warned that she should not leave Earth indefinitely, she took the whole Diaz family to a trip to her home kingdom, Mewni. During their little tour, Star didn't realized that her dad is here and she had to keep themselves down or else her dad catches her red-handed. As the Diaz family vacation's getting more and more risky, it's up to the gang to save the day until she got caught by her dad, who embraces his wild side. What the two didn't realized that they're both have monster butt-kicking genes and decided to keep it a secret between them. Talk about parental bond, if you know what I mean?

5) The Mewberty episode takes the puberty to a whole new meaning as when Star undergoes "Mewberty", she goes boy-crazy, even Marco. Unable to cope up with Star's uncontrollable situation, Marco tries to find her book of spells and negotiates with Glossaryck of Terms on how to deal with Star's uncontrollable situation. Sadly, Glossaryck's not helping and Marco's bracing the aftermath of Star's Mewberty. Looks like the ugly one gets even more uglier for Star.

6) After one interdimensional prank call, Star found out that her magic mirror's out of credits and the only way to reload her mirror is to enter Pixtopia to pay the bill. Unprepared, Star and the gang got caught up on a one-sided battle against pixies until one of them fell in love with...the pixie queen. Pixies...they're so aggressive on humans, especially other-dimensional ones like Star.

7) The Blood Moon Ball episode is the turning point of the show and when Star's demon ex-boyfriend, Tom, invites her to the Blood Moon Ball, Marco's unaware that this once-in-667-years-phenomenon was a moment that was destined for each other. Desperate, Marco rushes to the Underworld in his Dia de los Muertos costume, stealing Star on the floor, and when the blood moon (or total lunar eclipse) shines, the two dance each other until the secret's out for Star. Are Star and Marco destined to be each other? Sounds romantic by best to keep it to the viewers themselves.

8) It's Pony Head's birthday and with Star and Marco heard that Pony Head's life is in danger, the two are entering their biggest fear of their lives, St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses. As Star disguised as one of the guards and Marco disguised as a wayward princess, the two infiltrated the reform school to save Pony Head...only to realized they were too late. With Pony Head getting all "mannered", the two are trying to bring her waywardness back while still on the run by the reform school guards and the headmistress,

9) When Star heard about a commercial for a "banagic wand", she and Marco set off to "a better store" near them. Sadly, Marco has some karate lessons, meaning Star will have to set off alone to "a better store" while facing disastrous troubles all in the name to get...(whispers) the banagic wand.

10) When Marco got kidnapped by an evildoer named Toffee, Star made an unlikely alliance with her arch nemesis Ludo to "storm the castle". This season finale is definitely the biggest turning point for Star Butterfly as in order to stop Toffee, sacrifices has to be done and when she done that...whispering spell, everything starting to unfold and with Toffee defeated, Star's wand is gone until...her wand found out to be upgraded with a major twist. Half of the wand's crystal is missing and where could that be?

Looks like the race is on as the new season of Star vs. the Forces of Evil kicks off tomorrow, July 11, 2016, at 10:30 AM Pacific Time on Disney XD. Check local listings.

Disney's The BFG

Forged by the collaborative efforts of Roald Dahl, Walt Disney, and Steven Spielberg, the classic tale of "The BFG" has come to life in this whimsical mix of live-action and CGI effects that will captivate the whole family in the long summer weekend.

Disney's The BFG

Starring Mark Rylance, Ruby Barnhill, Penelope Wilton, Jemaine Clement, and Rebecca Hall, The BFG is about a little orphan girl named Sophie who had a chance encounter with a giant and then set off to an adventure that is far beyond our imagination. Throughout their adventure, their newly found friendship are tested when she heard that giants like him are flush-bunking off to her world to devour a few nice children and it's up to the unlikely duo to stop them once and for all.

Because The BFG is based on the works of children's books author Roald Dahl, the man behind other fantasy greats like James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Matilda, fantasy is the forte of this film as this film wants to capture young children with some unforgettable moments that will touch the hearts of many. It's like they're living in a fairy tale but it's beyond a grander scale for the whole family to witness it. With the combination of Disney and Steven Spielberg, this one-of-a-kind collaborative movie brings "movie magic" to a whole new meaning and The BFG never fails to impress as a family-friendly movie big enough to become one of the most heart-warming family movies of the summer. Watch this film until the very end and you will never deny just how beautiful this fantasy movie is.

Thanks to such a unique collaboration, Disney's The BFG is going to be an instant classic for those who have witnessed the story of a little girl and a big friendly giant setting off to humongous adventures big enough to be captivated by kids and by kids once upon a time.

My 10 best DCOMs aired

In honor of Adventures in Babysitting, the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie which stars Girl Meets World's Sabrina Carpenter and Descendants' Sofia Carson, it's time for me to jot down my ten best Disney Channel Original Movies out of the one hundred DCOMs aired on TV.

10) The Even Stevens Movie - This DCOM based on the hit Disney Channel TV series brings sibling rivalry to the ultimate level. Following the prank pulled at a graduation ceremony, the Stevens family are going on a vacation on a tropical island. Trouble is, this tropical vacation became a living nightmare for the Stevens, and this is where their wild side kicks in.

9) The Cheetah Girls - The Cheetah Girls is about four New York gals trying to overcome the odds to become the best girl group. Raven from That's So Raven stars alongside Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan, and true to the DCOM, it's all about the music and the grooves the girls can pull on the road to stardom. Thanks to The Cheetah Girls' success, it spawned additional two installments; The Cheetah Girls 2 and The Cheetah Girls: One World. Sadly, Raven's not present in the latter.

8) Kim Possible Movie: So The Drama - This DCOM is the turning point in Kim and Ron's crime fighting escapades. So what's the sitch? Prom night, Dr. Drakken's ultimate plot to rule the world, a handsome boy steals Kim's heart, and everything's getting desperate for the world's favorite crime-fighting spy. Apart from its dramatic storyline as well as witnessing Kim's costume upgrade, this DCOM features the song Could It Be sung by Christy Carlson Romano, the voice of KP.

7) Teen Beach Movie - Austin and Ally's Ross Lynch and The Fosters' Maia Mitchell became the stars of the summer-themed DCOM aired in 2013. It all started is a fun day at a beach until they got ended up in a turf war between bikers and surfers at a certain beach flick. It's up to the unlikely duo to alter the storyline and unite both sides, even themselves. This DCOM became a hit, a second installment came out a year later.

6) Lemonade Mouth - It all started with five high school students who are in detention formed together as the rock band called Lemonade Mouth. Their shot at fame isn't always an easy one because they have to tackle life's challenging problems, even for themselves. Dog with a Blog's Blake Michael and Good Luck Charlie's Bridgit Mendler starred in this DCOM.

5) Camp Rock - This is where Demi Lovato gets her break as one of the stars of the 2008 DCOM about a teenage girl who enters a summer camp for music lovers called Camp Rock until her encounter with a disgraced member of a famed boy band, played by the Jonas Brothers, turns her life around. Two years later, there's a sequel where the Camp Rockers are staging a battle against a rival camp in the Final Jam. Thanks to DCOM like this, the names Demi Lovato and the Jonas bros. became synonymous for fans everywhere.

4) Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure - Ashley Tisdale reprises her HSM role as Sharpay Evans in her spinoff DCOM about HSM's primadonna venturing to New York to become famous on a stage play or else she'll have to work at her dad's country club forever. However, life at the Big Apple isn't as fabulous as she wished for but her characteristics can surely turn this unfabulous situation around especially when she faces a fierce "dogfight" with a little boy, played by Bradley Steven Perry.

3) High School Musical - the DCOM of 2006 is the hit sensation for kids everywhere because of its memorable songs that made us have'em stuck in our heads as well as the love story of Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and life of being a high school student at East High. If I had my favorite song in the famed franchise, it will be "We're All In This Together". Because of HSM's success, it spawned live concerts as well as sequels, not to mention the feature-length finale HSM Senior Year. Because it's HSM's 10th anniversary, a new HSM film is in the works and thousands of youngsters have auditioned to be part of the new generation of Wildcats.

2) Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension - This DCOM is the ultimate Phineas and Ferb experience for the fans of the hit TV show that was recently concluded last year. Upon discovering Agent P's secret identity, the 2nd Dimension Doof tries to take over two dimensions of the Tri-State Area with his army of Normbots and it's up to the gang to stop other dimension Doof from executing his evil plot. With surprises aside, rock guitarist Slash made his musical guest appearance at the end of the DCOM.

1) Descendants - Imagine the world when Disney characters have kids, it would be a blast to see it coming but for the kids of iconic Disney villains, they're rotten to the core. Descendants star Liv and Maddie's Dove Cameron as Maleficent's daughter Mal, Sofia Carson as the Evil Queen's daughter Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jafar's son Jay, and Jessie's Cameron Boyce as Cruella's son Carlos. Although this DCOM tastes like High School Musical (kudos to HSM's choreographer Kenny Ortega for the production numbers), this DCOM is a success and it's so successful, a sequel is in the works as well as Wicked World animated shorts, which tastes like Sofia the First.

The 100th DCOM Adventures In Babysitting airs tomorrow on Disney Channel but you can watch it right away on the Disney Channel app or on demand.

Finding Dory

Dory is by no means one of our favorite characters in 2003's Disney-Pixar flick Finding Nemo because of her iconic dialogue to remember for, even if we had short-term memory loss. Because of her knack of comic dialogue that cheered us up, in fact, she even made her the star in the sequel film.

Finding Dory, the sequel to 2003's Finding Nemo, brings the aquatic tale we all love when you and I are young to a new direction and promises the same comic dialogue we all love. Of course, TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres reprises her role as, hers truly, Dory as well as Albert Brooks as Marlin from the first flick.

Unknown to her bittersweet past, Dory sets on an adventure to reunite with her parents after a terrible incident separated them years ago, and that meant she ends up on another side of the ocean. With the help of old pals Marlin and Nemo as well as new allies such as the octopus Hank, whale shark Destiny, and beluga whale Bailey, Dory will have to keep swimming to reunite with her long lost family, no matter the odds. Whoops, I just said that line. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...

Just for the record, the storyline feels almost the same as the original because the stuff you saw in this flick kinda reminds you of the original flick 13 years ago, but since this is Dory we're talking about, fans can venture on her secret origins and as the movie progresses, the more pieces about her are building in until they get the whole story about Dory's origins.

Storyline aside, the fun factor is what pleases the moviegoers and because of Dory's comic dialogue that made people smile. you can expect moments that are going to be iconic in the world of Disney-Pixar movies and if there's something we all learn from this flick, it made us keep swimming and be fluent in whale. What the hay, this film has the best vibe since the first one, in fact, this film has some good vibes that can make you laugh and cry.

My rating: 4.6 out of 5.

What's it about Shanghai Disney Resort?

Shanghai Disney Resort

The Shanghai Disney Resort has been recently opened to the public yesterday as guests of all ages have been eager enough to enter the wonderful world of Disney in Shanghai, China. So, what is it then, this Shanghai Disney Resort?

This $5.5 billion investment is one of Disney's most ambitious projects ever imagined and about 330 million people within a three-hour radius of Shanghai will be able to visit the park on opening day. Originally, before the opening, there should be an opening gala filled with music, acrobats, and more, until the rainy weather hampered until last night, where viewers witnessed the spectacle, which was televised on Disney Channel. In the gala, spectators witnessed the ever-changing colors of the iconic castle, musical performances by China's talented singers, acrobat performances, and many more as well as the appearance of Mickey Mouse to do the honor.

Because this new tourist destination is on Chinese soil, the Main Street has been renamed as Mickey Avenue to reduce the "American" feel while attractions include the Wandering Moon tea house, a Chinese Zodiac-themed garden, and a Tarzan musical with Chinese acrobats. There are so many attractions offered in this newly opened theme park in Shanghai and the family who are spending their summer vacation can't wait to try most of the attractions offered in Shanghai Disney Resort.

There are hotels offered such as the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel for the upper-class of guests to stay for the night and the Toy Story Hotel, which claims to be "family fun for all sizes".

Other destinations include Disneytown, where visitors can explore a shopping, dining, and entertainment district unlike any other, as well as witnessing the Mandarin-language debut of the legendary Lion King musical at the Walt Disney Grand Theatre, as well as Wishing Star Park featuring the Wishing Star Lake, Dragonfly Playground, and the Starlight Amphitheater for those who love stargazing.

Ticket prices (As of now):

1 x Standard (1.4+ M) (¥499.00 CNY/ticket)
1 x Child (1.0-1.4 M) (¥375.00 CNY/ticket)

Disney's Alice Through the Looking Glass

Six years ago, Disney gave us a live action rebirth of the legendary tale of Alice In Wonderland in collaboration with the eccentric Tim Burton. The rebirth sees a teenage Alice venturing through the fantasy world in search of her true destiny. Packed with imaginative cast of characters, the live action Alice in Wonderland was known to be one of the most fantastic family films at the start of this decade. Now, were in the mid-10's and at long last, a continuation to Alice's story is at hand.

Alice Through the Looking Glass

It's called Alice Through the Looking Glass and this film follows the same whimsical recipe as the 2010 Alice in Wonderland rebirth did and this time, it's about returning a big favor. Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen, Alan Rickman, and Stephen Fry, among many others are reprising their roles from the previous Alice in Wonderland film six years ago.

In this film, Alice returns to the Wonderland in order to save the Mad Hatter before it's too late. To do that, she has to find the Chronosphere, which allows her to turn back time. Venturing through the distant past, Alice meets up with her friends and enemies, new and old, at different timeframes and then set off to a race-against-time adventure to save the Hatter.

Compared to the 2010 rebirth of Alice in Wonderland, the Looking Glass delivers an all-original storyline while sticking true to the Wonderland fantasy the whole family would enjoy. Although, it may have a rough start, this film keeps wowing viewers with some eye-popping visuals that adds some color and zest to the once remarkable storyline we are familiar with. While the Looking Glass may be one of the most captivating family movies to watch before summer kicks in, I am fully aware that there are some people may call this film to be cute, as are the characters in the film. Well, they already saw the 2010 rebirth of Alice in Wonderland so they are fully familiar with the characters in this new chapter of Alice's tale but for those who never saw the rebirth, then it's okay. There's nothing meaningless about the film even if you never watched the first one but if you're here for the story, best to view the original first before jumping in to the latest story. Here for the story of just for the fun of it, the Looking Glass is just one of the main reasons why the collaboration between Disney and Tim Burton looks colorful and tasteful in the eyes of moviegoers.

My rating: 4.3 out of 5.

Disney's The Jungle Book (2016 film)

Disney's The Jungle Book (2016 film)

Last 2015, Disney gave us the much successful live-action rebirth of Cinderella. Now, another Disney classic has been reborn, this time a classic tale of a young boy named Mowgli in a live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book.

So, what is this rebirth of a classic Rudyard Kipling tale about? Well, The Jungle Book is about Mowgli (played by Neel Sethi) who was raised by wolves but the mighty Shere Khan threatens him because of his hatred for humans like him. Left without a home to live in, Mowgli sets off to an adventure with the help of a panther Bagheera and a friendly bear named Baloo. Together, they set off to a remarkable journey in the wilderness.

This film features a stellar all-star cast that lend their voices to the characters. Luther's Idris Elba plays as the villainous Shere Khan, Ben Kingsley as the voice of Bagheera, Bill Murray as Baloo, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Christopher Walken as King Louie, Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha, and Giancarlo Esposito as Akela.

This film is about discovering your true self while venturing through uncharted territories and thinking about the bare necessities (oops, did I said that iconic line?), this film has everything what a Disney family movie should have; the classic elements poured in with some modern touches to bring a more lively storytelling that is closely similar to the classic Jungle Book films and with this rebirth, Disney's The Jungle Book is a wonderful must-watch for families, even animal lovers, to discover new paths and the rite of passage awaits at the end.

If the film wows the viewers with its stellar all-star voices, vivid backdrops, a blend of live-action and CGI, and every Disney magic poured in, one thing that worries the viewers and that is...why would anyone call it cute? There's nothing cute about this film because if they mean the classic Jungle Book films in the last century, that's where you can put the cute term but not here. There's nothing in this live action rebirth of the Disney classic to be called cute.

Despite not being a "cute" movie, the Jungle Book rebirth is still one of the must-watch family films to see, much like any other Disney films you knew.

My rating: 4.2 out of 5

Disney's Zootopia

Disney's Zootopia

This is the latest animated film ever to be brought up by the creative minds from the wonderful world of Disney. It's called Zootopia and in the world of Zootopia, animals are behaving just like us, doing their hectic lifestyles, and enjoy whatever on their hearts' content. In this mammal metropolis, everything is possible.

So, how did the innovative people behind hit animated Disney films such as Frozen and Big Hero 6 came up with this unique environment where animals of all kinds get together in the big city? Well, for starters, the people behind the film imagine what would it be like if animals play the part of...us and do all sorts of stuff normal people would do such as shopping, going to work, exercise, politics, crimes, whatever all sort of stuff. That's where the idea of Zootopia was born.

The film centers on two protagonists; Nick Wilde, your basic city fox (who turns out to be a scam artist, by the way), and Officer Judy Hoops, a female cadet police officer who strives to fit in with her larger colleagues, and together, they can get through all sorts of Zootopia, knowing what is like to be wild in the urban jungle they're stepping on.

From the Sahara Square, Tundratown, Rainforest, Savanna Central, Little Rodentia, even straight to Mayor Lionheart's office, the world of Zootopia really is every animal lovers' fantasy come true as the movie tries to impress younger viewers the wonders of this mammal metropolis while dealing with a rather good storyline that doesn't feel much as exciting as the other Disney films. Think about it, coming up with the world where animals living like us, it's definitely possible in the world of cartoons but in terms of fandom, they should probably do better than that because getting to portray as their favorite Zootopia characters seems difficult than they ever imagine so please don't. Let the little kids dress up as their favorite Zootopia characters because little kids are better than grownups when it comes to dress as animals.

Either way, Zootopia may not be one of the best films to show this Spring season but this is the ideal family movie to watch especially those who want to get their wild side on even in this modern landscape you and I are stepping on.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Get to know about the Elite Force!

When different heroes collide, the lab doesn't get a whole lot mightier than this! Disney XD will air tonight a brand new show called Lab Rats Elite Force.

In the premiere, Chase (William Brett) and Bree (Kelli Berglund) were summoned by their creator Mr. Davenport to his penthouse, he introduced to his Lab Rats a team called the Elite Force comprising of Chase, Bree, and three others, which is none other than Kaz (Bradley Steven Perry), Oliver (Jake Short), and Skylar Storm (Paris Berelc) seeking vengeance against those who obliterated Mighty Med into pieces.

The Elite Force is a ragtag group of heroes that combines their bionic abilities and superpowers. Of course, while Chase and Bree got their bionic abilities, Kaz, Oliver, and Skylar got superpowers. Betcha we didn't realize that Kaz and Oliver are polar opposites because while Kaz can now unleash his firepower, literally, Oliver's got ice and water powers, although some of Oliver's powers needs some work. Sadly, both sides of the power don't get along very well but together, they can take down any powerful foe they may up against.

Of course, in the premiere, we can expect Descendants' Booboo Stewart making a special appearance as one of the villains who destroyed Mighty Med and trying to hunt down every superhero on the planet.

The newest show airs on Disney XD tonight at 8:30PM central and pacific and if you want to watch it right away, go to your WATCH Disney XD app. Parental approval is advised.

GSV TIZERGB UZOOH URMZOV

If you know the secret message above, it says "THE GRAVITY FALLS FINALE". So, how was it?

Gravity Falls finale

The finale episode titled "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls" sees Dipper and Mabel band the remaining residents of Gravity Falls as well as the other monsters such as the gnomes, the Man-otaurs, the golfballs, the multi-bear, even Rumble McSkirmish, to stage a resistance and save the universe from Bill Cipher's impending plot to destroy the universe, even if it means that one of the Pines will face the inevitable sacrifice.

Upon saving Great Uncle Ford in Bill's Fear-amid while Bill's eye got ruptured by the Shacktron, Ford utilized a plot to defeat the space demon and that meant utilizing the ancient prophecy that only the ten individuals bearing the significant symbols are the key to eradicate Bill.

Ford, Stan, Soos, Wendy, Dipper, Old Man McGucket, Pacifica, Mabel, Lil Gideon, and Robbie V, they're bearing the symbols prophesized to defeat Bill but due to the sibling rivalry between the two Stans, the prophecy's failed and Bill's taking them hostage along with Dipper and Mabel but Mabel sprayed Bill's eye, prompting the Mystery Twins to get away. Meanwhile, the two Stans confessed themselves about their pasts while the Mystery Twins reached the dead end.

Caught by Bill, Ford's ready to pay up the ransom (by letting Bill entering Ford's mind) and when the ransom's done, Bill entered Ford's mind when suddenly, Bill saw Stan. Bill fell for the switch glitch and with Bill trapped inside Stan's mind, Ford's firing the memory-erasing gadget (as seen from the Society of the Blind Eye) to Stan, eradicating Bill Cipher out of his existence, but sadly, Stan's memories also wiped out as well.

Following the victory against Bill Cipher, the Mystery Twins are trying to recover Stan's memories and then Mabel's scrapbook comes into mind (and so is Waddles), the key to recover Stan's memories. Nothing like a good old family bonding in the end.

Onto the climax; Gravity Falls is back to the way things were, Mayor Tyler Cutebiker passed the "Never Mind About That" Act, the Northwest family went bankrupt and all their properties now belonged to Old Man McGuckett, Lil Gideon's moved on from his bad ways and living like a regular kid (almost), and the Mystery Twins celebrated their 13th birthday. However, following Ford's decision to join Stan to his journey, Stan announced that he's shutting down the Mystery Shack for good but Soos opposes because most of the dreams, even his, are on this Shack. Thanks to this persuasion, Stan appointed Soos as the new manager of the Mystery Shack.

A day later, the Mystery Twins bid everyone at Gravity Falls farewell, even the Stans, Mabel's friends, and Wendy who swapped hats with Dipper and gave him a farewell letter. However, there's one individual too bonded to have it left and that's Mabel's pig Waddles and thanks to the Stans threatening the bus driver, Waddles is joining Dipper and Mabel on their journey home.

The finale of Disney's hit TV show Gravity Falls brings joy, sadness, anger, disgust, and fear among viewers while witnessing the Pines' final battle against the god of destruction even if noble sacrifices are meant to be made for the salvation of the universe and even though the show ended its four year run since it started last summer 2012, you, I, and the rest of the fans, will remember this instant classic show about the pre-teen twins solving mysteries in every single corner after another for generations to come. If I had my last words about this show, I would say I am thankful to have such a show like this because like what Dipper said "It's part of growing up. Everything changes. Summer ends," but even Gravity Falls is over, this show will be remembered forever by kids and kids once upon a time, even me.

Speaking of which, did you caught the glimpse of the final secret message during the final credits roll? If so, what's it said? Anyway, no time to crack what's the final secret message is but I hope everyone enjoyed the finale.

Thank You, Gravity Falls.

If you know this secret message above, that means "THE TEN BEST GRAVITY FALLS MOMENTS". Now, moving on...

Image: Disney

After a four-year run, Disney's hit animated TV show, Gravity Falls, reaches its climax on President's Day (February 15, 2016) with a one-hour finale where the Pines and the rest of the Gravity Falls residents staged a resistance to save the world from the clutches of Bill Cipher and end the Weirdmageddon once and for all. That's right, it's payback time and it's time to take back the falls.

Before witnessing the liberation of Gravity Falls this Presidents' Day, time to honor the impending liberation by listing down the ten best moments in Gravity Falls history, the moments when we saw the Mystery Twins at their very best.

1) The pilot episode will always be the most memorable moment in Gravity Falls history and this is the episode we should all deserve an awkward sibling hug at the end of the day. In the first episode, we saw Dipper and Mabel arrived at Gravity Falls to spend their summer vacation with their Grunkle Stan, only to find out that this place holds so many paranormal mysteries. The gnomes are just the start of the Mystery Twins' quest to solve the mysteries of this mysterious town and also the zombie. the hat that Dipper wore throughout the show, and the grappling hook Mabel got.

2) In the "Double Dipper" episode, Dipper has a lot to do on his list while the Mystery Shack throws a wild party. He wants to spend the night with Wendy but complicated things set them apart until Dipper encounters a mysterious copy machine that makes copies of himself but sometimes, more isn't better because the Dipper copies are having a mind of their own. Like paper, the Dipper copy can get dissolved by anything liquid, even water.

3) Who wants a Lamby Lamby Lamby? I do! I do! In the episode "The Inconveniencing", in order for Dipper to save Mabel and a bunch of teenagers, including Wendy, he has to confront against the ghosts running amok from the abandoned convenience store. Those ghosts as it turned out to be an elderly couple died from a heart attack after being attacked by teenagers after banning them from the store. To do that, the ghosts asked him to do a funny dance and that's how Dipper got to do the Lamby Lamby Dance. With the costume set, he's doing the dance to please the ghosts, setting everyone free. Still a good moment to enjoy than getting high on Smile Dip that Mabel had. THE FUTURE IS IN THE PAST! ONWARDS, AOSHIMA!

4) If you can have one video game character come to life and become your bodyguard, who will it be and why? That's the question that comes to mind when Dipper summoned a video game character named Rumble McSkirmish from Fight Fighters when he tried to use the so-called "ultimate power" combo. Originally, he wanted to have his video game character to give Robbie a good kicking but when bad things happened, it's up to Dipper to stop Rumble. Those video game references on it really got my inner geek going.

5) Their first encounter against the demon named Bill Cipher in the Dreamscaperers episode is the turning point while Dipper, Mabel, and Soos, work together to stop Bill from entering the biggest secret of Grunkle Stan's mind that would spell doom to the Mystery Shack. Because they're at the dream world, anything is possible to defeat Bill. After defeating Bill, they've succeeded to save Grunkle Stan but Gideon used force to take over the shack. In the first season finale titled "Gideon Rises", just when all hope is lost to regain the shack from Gideon, Dipper and Mabel thrown everything they got to defeat Gideon. In the end, Grunkle Stan exposed the truth that Gideon's a fraud and the shack is back in business. The biggest mystery remains is what's under the shack that Stan's working on?

6) Into the Bunker sees a much tougher Wendy while the gang is exploring under the mysterious bunker to further investigate who is the author behind the mystery journals. This is the very episode that Dipper told the truth about his feelings for Wendy and who can blame them?

7) In the episode Society of the Blind Eye, Dipper and Mabel believed that Old Man McGucket is the alleged author of the Mystery Journals and he was one of the many people whose memories wiped out by a cult known as the Society of the Blind Eye, led by Blind Ivan. With the help of Old Man McGucket, the gang investigate the mysterious cult and then take them out for good, especially when it comes to wiping out the leader's memory. It is believed that the gadget used by the cult to erase everyone's mind is an invention of McGucket himself during his youth but McGucket's not responsible for the mystery journals. Question is who?

8) This is where the biggest secret in Grunkle Stan's life is uncovered as in the episode "Not What He Seems", he was captured by government agents, trying to uncover the truth behind the anomalies surrounding Gravity Falls. As for Dipper and Mabel, they're uncovering what's under the shack, which is none other than the portal from another dimension which one of the journals claimed that it will trigger the end of space and time. In the end, the portal didn't triggered cataclysm but it unleashed a mysterious figure who looks just like Grunkle Stan.

In the episode "A Tale of Two Stans", the man in question is the real Stanford Pines, the six-fingered man behind the journals while the Grunkle Stan as we know is actually Stanley Pines. Viewers witnessed how the twins' tales unraveled to the very story we are seeing it now. With the truth uncovered, government agents surrounded the Mystery Shack but one of the real Stanford Pines' inventions managed to slip past through the agents. In the end, Ford demanded Stan that when this summer's over, he wants his name back and shut the Mystery Shack forever.

9) Dipper and Mabel's 13th birthday is drawing near and in the episode titled "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future", viewers find out that living an imminent teenage is harsh as they thought. Mabel wants to throw a big birthday party but all is grim when their birthdays will happen at the end of summer, Wendy warns that high school life is harsh, and her friends are leaving. As for Dipper, he's working alongside Great Uncle Ford to investigate a mysterious UFO which contains a special adhesive that will one day save time and space. The end of the episode is rather shocking because not only Mabel learned the truth about Dipper's, she was fooled by Bill Cipher, who used Blendin Blandin's body, and unleashed Weirdmageddon.

10) The demon known as Bill Cipher ruled Gravity Falls with an iron fist upon unleashing the ultimate terror known as Weirdmageddon and with most of the residents as well as Great Uncle Ford and Mabel held captive by Bill, only a handful of survivors such as Dipper, Wendy, and Soos must survive the nightmarish reality. The first part of the Weirdmageddon is very weird and very terrifying but the storyline keeps getting hotter and hotter as viewers witnessed how will Dipper survive the onslaught to save his sister and in due course, the world. In the second Weirdmageddon chapter, Escape from Reality, the trio entered Mabel's Bubble and while the two got succumbed into their temptations, Dipper tries to expose the truth inside this bubble and that meant going on court to reveal how much the twins bonded each other for bad times and good times. From awkward, now sincere, the bonds between the twins are stronger than ever.

Now that the twins reunite and the shack's intact along with Grunkle Stan and the handful of survivors, including the Multi-Bear, on it, will they take back the falls and win the battle against Bill?

Disney's The Good Dinosaur

For the first time, there are two Disney-Pixar films shown in the year 2015. Last summer, we've ventured to an emotional rollercoaster ride with Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear in Inside Out, and now, just in time for the holidays, there's a brand new Disney-Pixar movie adventure that retains its uniqueness, something that Pixar's done so hard for the past twenty years since the first Toy Story. It's called The Good Dinosaur.

In the alternate prehistoric time history when the asteroid that changed the world forever missed the planet, dinosaurs are taking the same path to civilization that humans did. Enter Arlo (voiced by Raymond Ochoa), the youngest and smallest of his three siblings who struggles to live with his family until a fateful tragedy where Arlo gets washed up away from his home. Struggle to find his way home, he encounters a little boy and the unlikely duo sets out on an amazing journey that they will remember forever.

Like any other Disney-Pixar films like WALL-E and UP, this film suffers the same issue in terms of storyline because some people might think that it feels so pointless to watch and it's nothing more of almost a two hour boredom fest about a little dinosaur and a little boy venturing out on fantastic places but despite its boring storyline, some might find that this movie is, what the kids would say, cute. Indeed, it's somewhat a very cute movie that requires no words to describe it and because this is a Disney-Pixar film, it still incorporates emotions very well. We can be happy, sad, scared, annoyed, or angered but The Good Dinosaur still carries out the traditional Disney-Pixar heritage that most moviegoers, even the little tykes, cherished through the years.

Although boring to watch, The Good Dinosaur is just one of the many movies you would stand up and cheer. It's also the ideal family movie to watch in time for the holidays so why not watch it with your whole family? After that, you might ask the kids if Arlo's their favorite cartoon dinosaur and if they do, they really agreed that they love this kids film.

Get to know the animal agents in The OWCA Files special

Tonight in North America, Disney XD will air a brand new Phineas and Ferb special episode titled The OWCA Files. Yes, we thought we're done with the show ever since the Last Day of Summer finale but fans want to see more platypus action and on this special, Perry's summoned by Major Monogram once again and this time he must take on an enemy from Major's past, played by Paul Reubens.

Perry's not alone though because he'll gonna need some help with his new animal operatives to finish his biggest mission yet. Let's meet the operatives!

- Harry the Hyena - He's new to OWCA but because he's a hyena, he tends to laugh most of a time. Don't think of him as a laughing stock because this big guy packs a bite!

- Karen the Cat - This feline operative is new to the Organization Without a Cool Acronym. Don't let her cute looks deceive you because deep down, she's one ferocious feline.

- Maggie the Macaw - OWCA's new operative has the sharpest beak of all as well as she's the smartest operative around.

- Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz - Ah yes, our favorite evil genius, or what we thought of him. Thing is, he once had a crack on being a good guy in one episode where Doof got permitted to OWCA since he was raised by ocelots. With Doof taking a break from his usual evil inator shenanigans, he gets tagged along with Perry for their biggest mission yet. Expect some Doof and Puss moments, though.

The OWCA Files special airs on Disney XD tonight at 7:30/6:30 central. Check local listings.

If you're a fan of Gravity Falls who can understand the secret message on this title, it says "How to dress as Dipper or Mabel Pines".

Anyway, Dipper Pines and Mabel Pines, the so-called Mystery Twins who are here to solve the supernatural phenomena lurking around the town called Gravity Falls.

We all enjoyed watching that hit Disney animated series because with a blend of horror, comedy, drama, romance, adventure, and the inevitable plot twists that keeps the viewers guessing what's next, Gravity Falls is already turning to be the next Adventure Time for all the wrong barrels.

Yes, you can dress yourself as either Dipper or Mabel, so here are some useful bits of advice that will make you become one of the Mystery Twins.

As Dipper:

- Dipper's signature hat is a white and blue cap with a pine tree on it. It's hard getting the real thing so it might best to improvise it with your own creativity.

- For his top, Dipper wears a red shirt and a dark blue outdoor vest. Those are easy to find at the shops as long at they match Dipper's.

- Dipper's shorts can be somewhat grayish or blackish. I don't know what but I belive it can be grayish so feel free to find whatever shorts you can find as long as it matches Dipper's.

As Mabel:

Now this is the difficult bit because Mabel's outfit keeps changing per episode and so are her sweater designs. Apart from the sweaters, the color of her headband and her skirt also changes per episode.

I've gone with one of my favorites for you, ladies, to consider for your Mabel cosplay;

That said, you are free to replicate whatever sweater design Mabel pulled off every episode, as long as you got the corresponding headband and skirt that well-suited for the sweater design of choice.

And that's it! You're done. Becoming one of the Mystery Twins is one way of saying you are ready to investigate the world's strangest moments just like in the show. Whether if its world-threatening prophecies, people with abnormal looks, or other paranormal activities that lurk around everyday, like what the mystery journals told, you can be sure that your outfits are ready to take on whatever the supernatural throws at you, Gravity Falls-style!

Good luck and BEWARB!

How to dress as the emotions of Inside Out

Image: Disney

We all love the latest Disney Pixar flick called Inside Out and this animated movie pull all the right emotions just like the emotions themselves. From Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear, it has been one heck of an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. Because we've enjoyed watching this animated family flick, we wonder what's like to be one of the emotions and find out how to be like them. Well, worry no more because it's time to list down the things you need to dress as your favorite emotions from Inside Out.

As Joy:

- First, your hair needs to be blue and short just like her's. If possible, shop for some short blue wigs which is essential for your Joy cosplay.

- Her outfit; she wears a lime-ish sleeveless one-piece dress. It takes luck to find a one-piece sleeveless dress similar to her's but if you shopped for one, congratulations.

- Joy doesn't wear shoes so good luck going barefoot, which is weird but this is the only way to bring out the best of your Joy cosplay.

As Sadness:

- Her hair is blue, just like Joy, but unlike Joy's, Sadness' blue hair is somewhat semi-long so it will be difficult to find a semi-long blue wig or better yet, improvise it.

- The tricky part to pull a Sadness cosplay or any other emotions that I will talk about it later is the body color. For Sadness, her body color is blue so you need is a blue body paint to cover your face and your hands.

- Sadness wears round eyeglasses but feel free to use any eyeglasses if you like.

- For the top, you need to have a white plain sweater which is similar to Sadness'. For the choice of trousers, your blue jeans straight from the closet might be your best bet.

- You can wear any shoes you like as long as the color is blue.

As Anger:

- Your head is going to be a liability for your Anger cosplay if you have hair but no matter. If you have a red body paint, you can splat it all over your head and your body. If you had hair, paint it red with a dye bought from your nearest beauty store. No worries.

- For the top, you need to wear some light red polo shirt and a necktie. You can use any necktie you want as long as their as reddish as Anger's. For the trousers, find something that is dark red.

- You can wear any kind of leather shoes as you like as long as their dark in color.

As Disgust:

- Ladies, the first step to dress as Disgust is her hairstyle and because Disgust's all green, the first thing you'll need is a green wig. Any size will do as long the color matches Disgust's.

- Yes, a green body paint really is a disgusting choice but if you want to be Disgust, there's no other way to do it. You need to have your entire body covered in green in order to bring out the best of your Disgust cosplay.

- Disgust's fashion style involves a fuschia-colored scarf to wrap on your neck, a green one-piece dress, a green waist belt to match your dress, some green trousers, and some purplish shoes. Have these in your shopping list, ladies.

As Fear:

- Like the Anger cosplay I've mentioned, the head is the tricky part for the Fear cosplay and so is the body paint because it's difficult to find a body paint that is purplish. If you can mix both the red and blue body paints, you can improvise your very own purple body paint, which is exactly what you need to paint some parts of your body purple. If you have hair, which is somewhat a problem, don't worry. Color it purple!

- Fear's outfit is somewhat intellectual ranging from a long-sleeved purple polo shirt, a black and white vest, a red bowtie, a dark purple trousers, and some dark leather shoes. Be sure to shop for one of these items if you need to dress as Fear.

And there you have it. As long as you dressed as your favorite Inside Out emotions, the key point you should need to do when it comes to dress as your favorite emotions; act according to their emotions!

That's all. Dismissed.

Disney's Inside Out

For numerous years, the Disney-Pixar films have captured the hearts and minds of every family with their heart-warming stories and fun-paced adventures that satisfy the cravings of kids and kids-at-heart alike. Now, there's a new Disney-Pixar flick that is completely unique and this could be your must-watch film for the summer.

Welcome to the world of Inside Out, Disney-Pixar's latest flick about...well, emotions controlling our minds. There are five emotions taking control of us; Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear. In this film, viewers are on an emotional rollercoaster (literally) in the mind of a young girl named Riley. When her dad gets a new job in San Francisco, she and her family moved out from her Midwest life and into a new home where life's about to change. With her emotions make sure that everything's okay in a totally new world, how would Riley and her emotions keep up?

The emotions really are the stars of the movie and because of the star-studded cast of Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, Lewis Black as Anger, and Bill Hader as Fear, it made us sprinkled with joy. However, the storyline is a bit of a disgust for us...with a little bit of anger...or fear...or sadness. It's kinda confusing about how the movie's storytelling develops but despite the rather confusing storyline that keeps us guessing what's next for the emotions, it's still a fun movie to watch and because this is a fun Disney movie to watch in the summer, you might just find out which of the emotions from the film is your personal favorite, well, I'd prefer Joy by the way because..."It's a Great Day" for those who watched the film from the start to the finish.

Overall, Inside Out may not be one of the best family films to watch but it is essentially a great Disney movie to watch in the summer and because of such originality, there's a main reason why you should watch that film again and again.

My rating: 4.2 out of 5

PAF finale really ends this great show with a bang

The finale of Disney's hit TV cartoon show, Phineas and Ferb, titled Last Day of Summer, did ended the best cartoon show with a spectacular thriller that has been one heck of an adventure for Phineas, Ferb, and the gang, as well as Perry (Agent P) and Doof.

I don't want to tell what's what, but all I can say to everyone who witnessed the finale is...I've never felt so happy upon watching the finale. Yes, I may be sad to have my ever-favorite Disney show end, but I'm very happy that the ending is worth remembering.

This epic finale to a great show deserves a toast for spoons, oranges, or capri pants (what your mom's wearing now). When I said toast, I mean cheers. Yes. We deserve a big cheers for a great finale.

I just wanna say thanks for your wonderful adventures since your rollercoaster and please stay to our hearts and minds forever!

PAF FOREVER!!!
