Driving Music (What is the name of the song on car commercial?) Vol. 36

To put an end to those cocks who are trying to find out this "mazda cx-5 commercial song", let me just say that what you heard here was actually an original commercial arrange version of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN theme song. There. That's it. Case closed. Happy now?

Now, those cocks are getting cockier as those clattering buttocks attacked my website with the words "peugeot 508 rxh commercial ask me to get higher". Those cocks! They can keep fighting me like game fowls! Well, like a game fowl, I am going to ATTACK those cocks with another set of five DRIVING MUSICS to shut them up and find.

Well, sadly, because the song heard in the commercial, "As We Get Higher", was actually an original commercial arrange version, let's look at some alternatives;

5) 想像を超える明日へ by DREAMS COME TRUE - from the latest 2013MY Toyota Estima Hybrid commercial.

4) PALM BEACH by MICHEL MAGNE - from a 1987 Honda Prelude commercial.

3) I Like To Play by Yuksek - from the latest GM Korea Chevrolet "The Perfect Cruze" TV Commercial.

2) Fascination Waltz by Hibari Misora - from the latest Honda Fit Japanese commercial.

1) We are the Champions by Queen - from a Suzuki Swift commercial.

...and there we are. Another set of five driving musics. There's more than those came from!

BMW 6er Gran Coupe (F06)

Last year, the F12/F13 BMW 6-Series Coupe and Cabriolet are becoming one of my favorite long distance cruisers of all time not only because of their style but also of their performance figures thanks to their turbocharged engines. Now, this year, they've added an addition that is surely not a fitting addition to the 6-Series range.

2013 BMW 6er Gran Coupe

2013 BMW 6er Gran Coupe

This is the new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe (codename F06), the Bavarian competitor against the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and the Audi A7. Sadly then, this new Gran Coupe is a bit too misleading because to me, coupes have two doors but this one has four doors. There is no such thing as a four-door coupe but who cares? This car was heavily influenced from the 2010 BMW Gran Coupe Concept car as seen on the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This car shows the classic features of all BMW coupes: the long wheelbase, the vaulted bonnet with forward-pointing lines, the set-back greenhouse, the flat silhouette, the coupe-style roof line and the short front overhang reflect the dynamic potential of the vehicle. I don't care what BMW said about this car but to me, this is a bit too confusing because what you're looking here is a F12/F13 6-Series with extra doors on it.

2013 BMW 6er Gran Coupe interior

A typical BMW trademark interior though but the 6-Series Gran Coupe has a distinctive driver orientation typical of all BMW vehicles and the interior features create a luxurious ambience for all passengers. The standard iDrive feature comes with a 10.2-inch on-board monitor with an exclusive flat-screen design, surrounded by a chrome frame that highlights the monitor.

Obviously, because this is a 4-door 6-Series, the rear legroom has been enhanced but I'm afraid that this car can fit only four despite the fact that BMW said that this car can fit three at the back without the armrest. Just look at the middle part of the rear. It was somewhat occupied by the rear air conditioning so it's best to lay down the armrest to rest your wearing arms.

Let me put it this way. If you have a 6-Series Coupe, accessing to the rear seats is a bit too stressful. If you have a 6-Series Cabriolet with the roof off, you can jump through the seats but that wouldn't work because of the rear legroom. With the Gran Coupe, those two idiots in business suits now have access at the back.

Oh, and I'll give you a little tip. If you have an IQ of Jeremy Clarkson's, you might even do the Back Seat Driver trick but that won't work because you could lead to serious trouble.

2013 BMW 6er Gran Coupe

At first glance, then, the BMW Gran Coupe is available in three different flavors;

BMW 640d Gran Coupe
Engine: N57D30
Power: 313 PS
Torque: 630 Nm
0-100kph time: 5.5 seconds
Combined Fuel Economy: 5,7-5,6 l/100 km
CO2-Emission kombiniert: 149-148 g/km

BMW 640i Gran Coupe
Engine: N55B30
Power: 320 PS
Torque: 450 Nm
0-100kph time: 5.4
Combined Fuel Economy: 7,9-7,8 l/100 km
CO2-Emissions: 183-181 g/km

BMW 650i Gran Coupe
Engine: N63B44
Power: 408 PS
Torque: 600 Nm
0-100kph time: 4.9 seconds
Combined Fuel Economy: 8,8-8,6 l/100 km
CO2-Emissions: 206-199 g/km

All of these models have an eight-speed Sport automatic transmission and proven BMW EfficientDynamics technology. They even come with a Driving Experience button with ECO PRO Mode and the Auto Start Stop function. Petrol variants of the Gran Coupe do come with the available XDrive all-wheel drive technology for better traction and all-round travelling even in the rain. It's quite perfect if you've encounter a road covered with pee. Without it, you could be in big trouble.

For personalization, you might have a choice of either a BMW Individual for added exclusivity upon your request or the M Sportpaket for added sportiness. Anyway, the available colors are Titansilber metallic, Saphirschwarz metallic, Havanna metallic, Spacegrau metallic, Tiefseeblau metallic, Vermilionrot metallic, Orionsilber metallic, Mineralweiß metallic, Carbonschwarz metallic*, Citrinschwarz metallic**, Rubischwarz metallic**, Tansanitblau metallic**, Mondstein metallic**, Fronze Bronze metallic**, Brilliantweiß metallic**, Frozen Gray metallic**, Frozen Silver metallic**, Schwarz uni, Alpinweiß uni, and Imola Rot uni*

*M Sportpaket-only color
**Individual-only color

My comment:
This BMW Gran Coupe is too misleading and it feels like it was made by people for the people who don't exist, like the skyscraper from Hong Kong that was made by people for the people who don't exist. Remind you of any? So I ask again, who would made a 4-door coupe anyway? Is it because they waste too much money for some research and development? Is it because they answer responses from many men? I don't really know why but anyway, the Gran Coupe costs 79,500 Euros, making it more expensive than the Mercedes CLS-Class. So, I would rather buy it instead of the Gran Coupe and use the extras for something else, like um...Facebook credits.

Consider this one DELETE or EXTERMINATE.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG golf trick

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - David Coulthard is now a Guinness world record holder
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG golf trick

Former Formula One driver, Mercedes-Benz brand ambassador, and the Scotsman who shot Jeremy Clarkson's popsicle with paintball on the Top Gear car art episode, David Coulthard, is now a Guinness record holder! How? He drove the SLS AMG Roadster to catch a golf ball driven 275m from the tee with the car's cabin as he was driving it.

Pro golfer Jake Shepherd hit the ball with the speed of 285kph (177mph) while Coulthard piloting the SLS Roadster up to 190kph (118mph) to catch the ball as it fell in the car's interior. With just two tries, they succeeded to snag the record holder of THE FURTHEST GOLF SHOT CAUGHT IN THE MOVING CAR. Beat that!

Top Gear The Challenges 6

Top Gear The Challenges 6

Think of Top Gear The Challenges as Top Gear's greatest hits. A selection of the best of Top Gear moments in telly. For the 6th installment, which is available only in Great Britain this June 4 (no word when will this come out with Japanese subtitles soon), this DVD packed with the selection of the greatest hits from the Top Gear series. These include;

1) The Ashes challenge - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May face off against their Aussie counterparts in the series of THE ASHES challenge. Some drag race, double decker racing, sheeps, and rally racing are occurred...

2) Trains - Jeremy, Richard, and James try to create a cheaper, faster, train travel by replacing carriages and locomotive with some caravans attached to a Jaaag! Sadly, that didn't work. With such arguments, Jeremy decided to make a sports train, the TG V12, while Richard and James bought a used Audi S8, making it useful to pull those caravans on rails. Some poos and wees come out!

3) Teenage Car Challenge - The boys bought used cars targeted for 17-year-olds who passed their driving tests. This challenge gets even louder than a banging stereo!

4) The Snowbine Harvester - the boys try to save Britain from the misery caused by snow with a help of a combine harvester, some modifications, and a trip to Norway!

5) 1980's BMW Convertibles - the boys buy used four-seater convertibles, which ended up being 1980's BMW convertibles, for a series of challenges. Even they look the same, they have different attitude, even how much germs and bacteria left on their interiors.

6) Demolition Men - the boys rely on military vehicles to demolish numerous old houses in Gravesend's Christian Field's estate. Are they better than normal demolition equipment used by the professionals?

7) Skoda Yeti road test - Jeremy Clarkson reviews the Skoda Yeti with numerous tests including a tattooist, fire, and a helicopter which happened to be circling the Top Gear Test Track!

8) Countryman WRC vs Skeleton Sled - James May meets Amy Williams, who is English Skeleton racer and British Olympic Gold medalist. He enlisted a rally driver and the MINI Countryman WRC to race against Amy Williams and her skeleton sled for some icy offense.

9) The new Jaguar XJ - an epic battle between the Jaaag against the Creator of Heaven and Earth as Jeremy Clarkson race to the beach against the Earth's rotation!

10) Range Rover Evoque - James May drives the new Range Rover Evoque from Death Valley to Las Vegas, showcasing its offroad capabilities despite its unibody structure. Oh, and there's a tranny at the end of the Evoque review...

11)  Amputee's Dakar Rally trials - Richard Hammond meets up with the incredible rally team who are soldiers wounded from wars. The amputee team are trying their hardest to become part of the Dakar Rally. Sacked Stig and author of THE MAN IN THE WHITE SUIT, Ben Collins, makes an appearance!

12) E-type and Eagle Speedster - Jeremy Clarkson pays tribute to the Jaguar E-Type's 50th anniversary and he even got a chance to try out the modern day E-Type, the very rare, very expensive, half-a-million quid, very beautiful Eagle Speedster, which makes the best noise!

13) The Marauder - Richard Hammond flies to South Africa to drive a car so tough, it can even survive explosions!

Special features include;
• Stig’s Cousins’ Laps
• Unseen Interview Clips of Sebastian Vettel, Jonathan Ross, Ryan Reynolds, Ross Noble and Alice Cooper
• Interceptors’ Titles Sequence
• Amy Williams’ Helmet Cam Footage
• Desert & Ice Montage
• Deleted Scenes

ITC280 Update 9

What I learned on Week 9 of the ITC280 class?

1) Here is a stub of a class:

class Car{}

2) Here is a simple Car object created from the car class:

$myCar = new Car();

echo $myCar->mph;

class Car

{

 public $color = "";

 public $mph = 0;

 public $price = 0;

 public $model = "";

}

3) We add a constructor to be able to load data into our object

$myCar = new Car("ferrari",100000,140,"red");

echo "MPH: " . $myCar->mph . "<br />";

echo $myCar->model;

echo $myCar->color;

echo $myCar->price;

class Car

{

 public $color = "";

 public $mph = 0;

 public $price = 0;

 public $model = "";

 function Car($model,$price,$mph,$color)

 {

  $this->model = $model;

  $this->price = $price;

  $this->mph = $mph;

  $this->color = $color;

4) We can Create accessor methods (get/set) to allow read/write access;

function getMPH()

  {//will allow read access to a private property

  return $this->mph;

 }

NOTES:

It's almost the end of this class and I haven't decided on what will my final project be. Should I use the theme we used in class or use something different? That is a question I cannot answer but hey, how many lessons left before we do the final project? What should I do? I'm still stuck and I can't figure out what will my final project be...

Only one way to find out...soon...
