How to dress as Aikatsu characters (Part 2)

It's the Aikatsu franchise's 5th anniversary so let's celebrate by teaching you how to be as one of your favorite Aikatsu idols but because we have the original Aikatsu and the latest Aikatsu Stars, let's focus first on the original just for nostalgia purposes.

Last time, I already tackled how to dress as characters like Ichigo Hoshimiya, Aoi Kiriya, Ran Shibuki, and the others. Now, let's focus on the 2nd year arc where Starlight Gakuin faces a stiff competition against the best and the brightest from the prestigious Dream Academy.

Time to pick up where we left off as I will explain to you how to be as the other Aikatsu stars during the 2nd year arc and when I say "how to be", I mean mimicking their hairstyles because the outfits are too random for me to explain and these outfits are up to you. By the way, little kids, ask your parents first before doing so.

As Seira Otoshiro: Seira is one of the Dream Academy students who made a courtesy visit to Starlight Gakuin just to put some pressure on Ichigo and the pals, especially Akari Ozora, who was a newcomer back then. Because of her taste for Rock N' Roll, she represents the Swing Rock brand. Okay, being Seira, first get a very long red hair to start with, then put a big ponytail and a ribbon to finish it off. Once done, it's up to you to decide the outfits.

As Sora Kazesawa: Sora is one of the Dream Academy students who undergoes designer courses. She represents the Bohemian Sky brand. Getting a long blue hair is a start because Sora's hair has some purple gradient below so this should be tricky for color-blind cosplayers like me. If you get the gradient all sorted out, feel free to pick the outfits for your cosplay; either her Dream Academy uniform or one of her Bohemian Sky outfits onstage.

As Kii Saegusa: Kii is one of the Dream Academy students who undergoes producer courses and she's known for her love for a special cider known as the Aikatsu Drink. Getting a long blond hair is an easy task but the hard task is to recreate Kii's puffy twintails and with all that puff in Kii's twintails, this may take a fortnight.

As Maria Himesato: Maria's one of the Dream Academy students who is very skilled at makeup and nails. Maria's not quite the trickiest to recreate, especially when her hair is somewhat peach-colored and she has some floral stuff in front of her hair.

As Mikuru Natsuki: Mikuru is one-half of the newly established WM idol duo comprising of her and the once veteran idol of Starlight Gakuin, Mizuki Kanzaki. Recreating Mikuru's look is no problem. You just need a long beige-colored hairdo and some pigtails to do this and once you're done recreating Mikuru's look, feel free to choose whatever outfits you like.

Next time, let's focus on the characters introduced in the final season of the Aikatsu anime, also known as the Akari Generation where Akari Ozora became the main character of this final season before Aikatsu Stars took over the telly. Watch for it.

How to dress as Aikatsu characters (Part 1)

It's the Aikatsu franchise's 5th anniversary so let's celebrate by teaching you how to be as one of your favorite Aikatsu idols but because we have the original Aikatsu and the latest Aikatsu Stars, let's focus first on the original just for nostalgia purposes.

Of course, because Aikatsu is primarily a children's franchise, if you are going for tips to dress as your favorite Aikatsu characters in time for Halloween, best to have parents' supervision first before starting to dress as your favorite Aikatsu characters. Parents, take note if your little girl wants to dress as her favorite Aikatsu character, but if you're a seasoned cosplayer, feel free to take my advice anytime.

With so many outfits to choose from, you have been given free rein to dress whatever outfit you like as seen from Aikatsu, from their uniforms to on-stage co-ordes. Because of that, let's shift on the hairstyles per Aikatsu star because this is help determine whose Aikatsu star you're going to be at.

Okay, so let's get cracking beginning with this one...

As Ichigo Hoshimiya: It's simple being Ichigo Hoshimiya, really. You just need a long blond hair and a ribbon headband and voila! But make sure the ribbon in the ribbon headband I mentioned is as big as Ichigo's.

As Aoi Kiriya: The quiet one of the bunch, Aoi's hair, hence the name, is colored blue but the tail of her hair is facing on her left so take your time.

As Ran Shibuki: The easy part? A long brownish hair. The hard part? Your free rein to choose whatever outfit that suits this cosplay best.

As Mizuki Kanzaki: As the top dog of the Starlight Gakuin, Mizuki's hair is long and purplish but I'd recommend putting a tiara because that reflects her status of being the academy's top ace respected by many.

As Otome Arisugawa: This is the tricky one because while her hair color is a bit light brown-ish, the twintails are a trickiest to pull one off because her twintails have the shape of a baguette. If you're going to recreate Otome's twintails, better picture a baguette while doing so because this is very challenging indeed.

As Yurika Todo: Yurika is an idol who's into the gothic trend and her vampire instincts is what really terrified you down, especially when she has a pet bat named Alan. Being Yurika, you're going to need a long white hair to begin with, then there's the tricky part. Her spiraling twintails would require some extreme curling to recreate Yurika's look before setting off to find something to wear for your Yurika Todo cosplay.

As Sakura Kitaoji: Sakura's hairstyle is a short pink hair with some flowery hair accessory that takes about a fortnight to deal with. If you're happy replicating Sakura's hairstyle, feel free to pick whatever outfit you want for this cosplay.

As Kaede Ichinose: Kaede's the energetic top idol of the academy who was transferred from America and she's part of the Tristar posse consisting of her, Yurika, and Mizuki. If you're feeling as energetic as Kaede, her short red hair would work rather well and if you're happy with the short red hair, you have free rein over which outfits you want to wear, preferably either her uniform or any of her Magical Toy outfits onstage.

Next time on Part 2 of "How to dress as Aikatsu characters", let's focus on the characters introduced during the 2nd Year arc of the anime, including those from Dream Academy. Watch for it.

How to dress as one of Aqours

In honor of the upcoming premiere of the much-awaited Love Live! Sunshine!! TV series, this is the perfect opportunity to explain any Lovelivers around the world how to dress as one of the Aqours members. If you need a quick refresher, Love Live! Sunshine!! centers on nine teenage girls on how they formed Aqours and become Uranohoshi Girls High School's finest school idol group ever formed.

Love Live! Sunshine!!
Since this is an idol anime packed with idol girls, the girls will have a wide array of wardrobe they'll be wearing throughout the course of Love Live! Sunshine!! and while you'll be worrying about the outfits later, the target will be hairstyles based on Aqours members. I'll be detailing it so pay attention.

As Chika - Chika Takami is the leader of Aqours and the youngest of the three sisters. She's a second year student and her family runs an inn. She's a fan of μ's. To start being Chika, it may take a orange wig with a just-size (not too short, not too long) to do the job but notice the hair accessories Chika wore? She had a big yellow ribbon on her left and a small green one on her right but I don't think that's the half of it because there's a small braided portion of the left of Chika's hair. If you can manage to replicate Chika's hairdo, you're free to do whatever outfit you like.

As Riko - Formerly from Tokyo, Riko Sakurauchi now resides to Uchiura. A second year student who loves to draw and likes to stay indoors. Judging from her hairdo, Riko has a crimson-colored long hair with a few specks on her right. If being Riko is an easy task, the choice of outfits will not be easy but I'll leave it all to you.

As Kanan - Kanan Matsuura is a senior-year student who runs a diving shop with her grandmother on a nearby island. Just a simple long blue hair should do the trick but don't forget the ponytail look that Kanan had. Once settled, the outfits are up to you but for the record, you better don't let anyone's guard down while you're on a wet suit because diving is one of Kanan's pastime.

As Dia - Dia Kurosawa is the senior-year student and she's Uranohoshi Girls High School's student council president. As I believed, Dia's behavior will be similar to her predecessor, Eli Ayase from μ's. She rejected the idea of having a school idol group in the first place but she'll be reluctant to be part of it if things get dirty. If you maintained your long black hair, disregard this notice but if you cut it by mistake, best to have an emergency long black hair wig ready and spec out with some minor hair accessories to complete the Dia look.

As You - You Watanabe is a second year student and an excellent diver fit for a swim club. Oh dear, fans expect that they're going to wet themselves in bedtime upon remembering this idol swimmer in her speedo, but for the ladies who are reluctant to become You, a sand-colored wig should do the trick but keep the wig just the right shortness. Once settled, feel free to do whatever outfits as you please. Be warned though because there are worse things than running through a You Watanabe cosplayer wearing a tight one-piece speedo.

As Yoshiko - Yoshiko Tsushima is a first year student who considered to be unlucky. She prefers to be called Yohanne instead of her real name. She dislikes mikan fruits. Yoshiko's hair is somewhat royal blue-ish, and it's long, so it would be a super tricky approach to find the right blue color for the wig. Also, the round part on the right of Yoshiko's hair would be less rewarding but once done, you're free to do whatever outfits you like.

As Hanamaru - Hanamaru Kunikida is a first year student and a daughter of a family of shrine keepers. Although she's a member of a local choir, she loves to read and gets dizzy easily. To become Hanamaru, a simple toffee colored hairdo should do the trick and the rest is up to you.

As Mari - Mari Ohara is a half-Japanese senior student who is a daughter of an Italian-American father who had his hands full with the hotel businesses. She likes to do things at her own pace. Yes. a blonde hairdo should do the trick but this going to be fairly difficult to replicate Mari's hairdo due to the odd-looking style at the top of Mari's. It's a very challenging task but if you managed to sort it out, the outfits are yours for the choosing.

As Ruby - Ruby Kurosawa is a first year student and a good friend of Hanamaru. She maybe prone to crying but she's good at sewing. This is a very easy task for those who want to be Ruby because all you need is a red wig and pigtails just to complete the look. Once settled, good luck on your outfit hunting out there.

And there you have it. If you can choose which Aqours member will you be, sorting out the costumes is now the next objective for you all and once done, it's showtime! With the help of your buddies, you'll be able to show what Aqours is all about! I have high hopes that there will be a plethora of Aqours cosplay around the corner post-premiere so good luck, Lovelivers!

How to dress as one of μ's

The school idol group μ's from the ever popular Love Live! School Idol Project franchise. Once started as a fan-sourced project made by a certain anime magazine, now propelled into one of the most successful franchises in the world and because it's so successful, everyone's fighting to get their products be known to μ's. From Honoka, Eli, Kotori, Umi, Rin, Maki, Nozomi, Hanayo, and Nico, every μ's member is unique in every tangible way and together, they can achieve the impossible not just for their school but to have their presence as a group be known to the world.

μ's Final Love Live
Image: Project Love Live!

Yes, with μ's Final Love Live concert coming at the end of March 2016, looks like the send-off for one of the most iconic anime teams of all time will be a big one and looks like we can expect lots and lots of μ's cosplay even before, during, or after μ's grand finale. Of course, the rate of Love Live cosplays are very common ever since the anime began last January 2013, there's no shortage of those but if you're new here, best to give you some guidelines on how to dress as one of μ's.

As we learned from the 765PRO ALL-STARS from THE IDOLM@STER (yes, I've mentioned it because of a certain point I'm going to make right about now), these idols are well-known for their wardrobe on their on-screen antics and because of so many wardrobe to choose from, guess I'll be focusing more on the hairstyles while leaving the wardrobe up to you.

As Honoka Kousaka: Honoka's a second year student and the mastermind behind μ's upon observing a certain school idol group at a certain school that sparked her an idea that would save Otonokizaka High from imminent closure, She's the kind of idol she would never give up on her friends. Actually, being Honoka isn't so bad at all, especially if you're going to become her for your cosplay plans. All you need is a semi-long orange hair that is not too long, not too short, just the right size. If you got the right hairdo, make sure the tail of your hair goes to your right. Perhaps ribbons or any other hair accessories would work just to replicate the Honoka look. If you got your hairstyle that matches Honoka's, the wardrobes are up to you.

As Eli Ayase: Eli Ayase is a quarter Russian senior student of Otonokizaka High and the president of the school's student council. At first, she denied Honoka's idea of having a school idol group but later on, because of Eli's desperate goal to save the school, she became part of μ's. Although her personality is cool as ice, her iconic smart and cute characteristics donned her the KKE nickname. That's Kashikoi Kawaii Elichika. Becoming the quarter Russian school idol is no slouch. First, save a long blonde wig for the job. For blondes with long hair, disregard this notice or if you cut your hair by accident, best to have one. If you got the blonde hair ready, give it a more sophisticated ponytail look to replicate that KKE appeal. With the hairdo now KKE-worthy, feel free to pick on the outfits either from the anime or from the School Idol Festival game regardless of rarity. Oh, and don't forget Elichika's keyword; Хорошо!

As Kotori Minami: Kotori's a second year student and one of Honoka's childhood friends. A kindhearted idol with a pure heart, Kotori's got a talent for making costumes for μ's. Actually, you may find that Kotori sounds and looks like a little girl, making her one of the most adorable members of μ's, and becoming her isn't a hard task. First, the wig of choice has to be long and it's sorta amber-colored. I bet it's colored amber but anyway, with the amber-colored hair ready, be ready with an array of hair accessories (ribbons presumably) that can be placed on your right side. Again, your right side. With Kotori's hair now in session, feel free to choose whatever costumes you like.

As Umi Sonoda: Umi's a second year student and one of Honoka's childhood friends. She's a member of the school's archery club and although she's the silent type, this μ's member is a sharp instrument, although she might find her dull in a game of cards. For those who want to dress as Umi, there's only one major requirement for this job: a long blue-colored hair. That's it. Just a long blue-colored hair and the outfits that Umi wore in the series are up to you.

As Rin Hoshizora: Rin is a freshman student who loves sports and of course, ramen. Although being the sporty type of idol you would want to hang out more often, her feline personality always gets the better of her. Like we learned from Honoka's, best to have an orange wig for the job but this time, make it shorter. With the short orange hair now primed and ready, feel free to decide on which outfit you'll dress.

As Maki Nishikino: Maki's a freshman student and her parents run a very successful hospital, therefore she's a rich girl with a sassy attitude. Although being a well-rounded tsundere, she's very skilled at playing the piano. To become Maki, best to get your red wig ready, as long as the sizing's just right to match Maki's. If so, feel free to pick whatever outfits Maki wore but for hotter recommendations, try to dress as Maki in her Wonderful Rush outfit. That will make fanboys wet their pants during bedtime.

As Nozomi Tojo: Nozomi's a senior student and the vice president of the school's student council. Although fortune-telling is Nozomi's top specialty as well as her caring personality, don't let her luck get the drop onto you because deep down, she can be very conniving, especially her signature "washi washi" pose. Aside from being the big-chested member of μ's, she's also got one of the biggest pigtails of any anime character you know, To do so, find a long hair that has shades of violet, then give it a twin-tail look to replicate Nozomi's. If done, feel free to choose whatever outfit Nozomi wore in the show.

As Hanayo Koizumi: Hanayo's a freshman, just like Rin and Maki, and although she has a bashful personality, her responsibility as one of μ's shows that she's doing her best to change. Believe it or not, she has love for plain white rice, which explains a lot. Becoming Kayo-chin is a challenge because while her hair is short, it's hard to tell if it's gold or a bit brownish (can't tell which) but if you figured out the color of the short wig that matches Hanayo, be sure to decide which costume best suits your Hanayo cosplay.

As Nico Yazawa: Nico may look like a little girl but she's a senior student just like Nozomi and Eli, and annoyingly a blabbermouth and a clumsy type. Despite her flaws, she's a good idol girl no one can resist her cute charm as well as saying her signature "Nico-Nico-Ni!" catchphrase. Becoming Nico, it takes a black semi-long hair and some twin-tails to do the trick nicely. Once you're done, feel free to decide on the costumes fit for your Nico cosplay. Oh, and don't forget her catchphrase: "Nico-Nico-Ni!

And there you have it. Being one of μ's from the Love Live anime series can be a fun experience either by yourself or with a group of mates as long as the costumes you wore are well matched to the μ's member of your liking. The stage is yours, Lovelivers!

Fight, Dayo!

How to dress as one of the 765PRO ALL-STARS idols

THE iDOLM@STER

Nothing in the world of THE IDOLM@STER is more so than the 765PRO ALL-STARS because with so many installments come and go, you can't really beat the original idols because they're unique, they're great, and most of all, they are what you really called the poster girls, or idols, of the whole franchise for 10 years now. Of course, these idols are well-known for their wardrobe on their in-game and on-screen antics but hold it right there. Because of the array of wardrobe to choose from, cosplaying as a 765 Production idol is hard but happily, you don't need some fancy clothing to be a 765Pro idol, well for some. All you need is some hairstyle that correspond to your favorite 765 Pro idol!

As Haruka Amami: Haruka maybe more of a clumsy type but she's the best asset to the 765 Production. She would never give up even on her colleagues and the producer. Admittedly, being Haruka isn't such a bad idea on your next cosplay and before you can pull off some of the most iconic wardrobes in IM@S history, your hairstyle needs to be brown hair, short, and with two ribbons. Red ribbons are recommended but you can use any ribbon you like, just to replicate the Haruka Amami look. When done, feel free to use any outfit suitable for your Haruka Amami cosplay. An ideal recommendation includes the Forever Star outfit, the Starpiece Memories outfit, her school uniform from the first episode of the IM@S anime, her outfit from the anime DVD/Blu-Ray covers, and her luxury outfit. Oh, and please don't trip yourself like what Haruka does on her onscreen antics...

As Makoto Kikuchi: Makoto's the buttkicker of 765 Production and if I were you, I'd better be away from her because when singing is her second favorite thing, her first favorite is kicking your butt out. Don't say I've warned you but for the tough ladies out there who have a knack for iM@S, here's your chance. Just a short jet black hair should do the trick but to be Makoto, it's best to be outfitted with your favorite IM@S wardrobe of your liking.

As Chihaya Kisaragi: Chihaya Kisaragi devotes everything to music in a stoic manner. Despite her dark past, her voice is lyrical as an angel. That sounds a lot of love for her and being Chihaya is the one thing you would want for your next IM@S cosplay at a certain convention. Since Chihaya's hair is blue, a long blue hair should do the trick. With your long blue hair in possession, feel free to choose which wardrobe suits you. Recommendations include her signature luxury outfit, her winter outfit, or her outfit as seen in the anime DVD/Blu-Ray covers.

As Azusa Miura: Azusa Miura likes to do things at her own pace but she has qualities. Annoyingly, it's her big-chested physique that woos certain fans or maybe is her rather erotic voice? Who cares? Anyway, like we dealt with Chihaya's hairstyle, blue is the best color for your hairstyle but there are two options; you can go for the long hairstyle or for the short hairstyle. For ideal recommendation, go for the short hairstyle. That should do nicely. With the hairstyle at hand, feel free to choose which outfit you'll go for your Azusa Miura cosplay but the best idea would be the wedding dress with some petal of flowers covered. It's like she's running through a bouquet of flowers from a certain episode.

As Yayoi Takatsuki: Yayoi Takatsuki is a dependable part of the 765 Production and she's devoted to her big family. She also has a very cute personality that will capture the hearts of many fans. Becoming Yayoi sounds like hard work, right? Especially as cosplaying as her because to become her, all you need is a long orange hair and give it a twin-tail look but don't make the twintails too short. Just the right size of the twin-tails that matches Yayoi's. With your orange hair with the matching twintails, you can use whatever outfit you like that works well with your Yayoi cosplay.

As Ami or Mami Futami: Ami and Mami Futami are twins who love to make double trouble. As to cosplay either of the Futami twins, you can either do this alone or pair up with a buddy to pull off your Futami twins cosplay. One thing you need to aware is the tail of their hairstyles. The tail of Ami's hairstyle goes to her right while the tail of Mami's hairstyle goes to her left, just to avoid confusion between these two. If you already sorted out which one of the Futami twins will you cosplay or go on both with a mate, feel free to dress whatever you like, as long as it fits to your Ami or Mami cosplay.

As Yukiho Hagiwara: Yukiho Hagiwara's a bashful type of idol who lacks confidence but she's doing her best to change onstage. Cosplaying as her isn't a bit of a challenge when it comes to her hairstyle but when it comes to wardrobe, I'll leave the rest to you. Just be sure that the hairstyle you're looking for is somewhat of a tan or a light brown color because anything darker than that, you'll have to resort being Haruka. If you have the right color of the hairstyle that matches Yukiho's, you can choose any wardrobe you like.

As Miki Hoshii: Miki Hoshii is an idol who has endless potential but lacks motivation. Much to the popularity of this 765 Pro idol, dressing as her isn't an easy task, especially when you're looking for a hairstyle that matches her's. Just a long blonde hair should do the trick and if you got the right blonde hair for the job, try to find the costume that works well with your Miki cosplay. Recommendations include the My Dear Vampire outfit, the Starpiece Memories outfit from the IM@S movie, or even the one you saw from the anime's DVD/Blu-Ray covers.

As Takane Shijou: No idol in the world of anime is as nobler and more mysterious as Takane Shijou. Even though this idol has a secret she would never tell, most fans gone bedwetting every time they remember her. Sounds gross but she's very gorgeous onstage and on her personality that steals the hearts of many. Being Takane is good if you are a woman who has the face of an angel and the body of a supermodel but annoyingly, anyone can dress as Takane as long as the one in their dispersal is a long white hair you bought at your nearest wig shop. If you got the right hairstyle for your Takane cosplay, feel free to choose whatever outfit suits best. My recommendation includes the Dressy Alice outfit, the Forever Star from the final episode of the IM@S anime, a certain yukata, her outfit from the anime DVD/Blu-Ray covers, and to send fanboys wetting their pants on naptime, her signature luxury outfit. Nice!

As Ritsuko Akizuki: Despite her idoling past, Ritsuko Akizuki is a necessary member of 765 Production. Whether if she's a deputy producer on duty or a part-time idol when they need her help, her motherly instincts really give the idols a much-needed morale. Her hairstyle is a bit of a challenge because there are two styles to choose from but as a precaution, make sure your dark hair's not too short or else, you can't commence either of these two. Anyway, on her hairstyles; you can go for her braided twin tail look to reminisce her idol days or go for the messy bun hairstyle that matches her look. Best to go for her messy bun hairstyle right away because that's well recommended for your Ritsuko cosplay. Why not? To give you that bossy feeling as the right hand producer and part-time idol of 765 Production.

As Hibiki Ganaha: Hibiki's the kind of island girl who smiles like the sun shines. Believe it or not, she loves animals, especially her pet hamster named Hamzou. To be Hibiki, it's best to maintain your long black hair and if you lose it, you'd better off find a long black wig for yourself in case you chopped your hair off by accident. As for the hair accessory, you're free to do so but the ideal recommendation is a big, teal-colored, ribbon that fits perfectly well with your Hibiki cosplay. If you managed to sort out Hibiki's hairstyle, you're free to pick whatever outfit you can dress as long as it's related to IDOLM@STER.

As Iori Minase: Grew up from a family who had their hands full with a multinational conglomerate, Iori's the bossy boots of the pack despite her cute appearance. To become Iori, it's ideal that you have maintained a long brownish hair for a long period of time. If not, it's off to the wig shop to find a long brown hair for you. However, your long brown hair is not enough because there's one missing piece for your Iori cosplay; a pink headband. With the hairstyle set, you're free to pick whatever outfit suits your Iori cosplay.

And there you have it. Choosing which idol suits your personal preference on your next convention sounds like hard work but it's the heart that counts when it comes to decide which 765 Production idol will you cosplay and so is the wardrobe of your choosing. Whichever floats your boat, your love for all things IDOLM@STER is what's important.

765 PRO, FIGHT!!!

How to dress as the emotions of Inside Out

Image: Disney

We all love the latest Disney Pixar flick called Inside Out and this animated movie pull all the right emotions just like the emotions themselves. From Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear, it has been one heck of an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. Because we've enjoyed watching this animated family flick, we wonder what's like to be one of the emotions and find out how to be like them. Well, worry no more because it's time to list down the things you need to dress as your favorite emotions from Inside Out.

As Joy:

- First, your hair needs to be blue and short just like her's. If possible, shop for some short blue wigs which is essential for your Joy cosplay.

- Her outfit; she wears a lime-ish sleeveless one-piece dress. It takes luck to find a one-piece sleeveless dress similar to her's but if you shopped for one, congratulations.

- Joy doesn't wear shoes so good luck going barefoot, which is weird but this is the only way to bring out the best of your Joy cosplay.

As Sadness:

- Her hair is blue, just like Joy, but unlike Joy's, Sadness' blue hair is somewhat semi-long so it will be difficult to find a semi-long blue wig or better yet, improvise it.

- The tricky part to pull a Sadness cosplay or any other emotions that I will talk about it later is the body color. For Sadness, her body color is blue so you need is a blue body paint to cover your face and your hands.

- Sadness wears round eyeglasses but feel free to use any eyeglasses if you like.

- For the top, you need to have a white plain sweater which is similar to Sadness'. For the choice of trousers, your blue jeans straight from the closet might be your best bet.

- You can wear any shoes you like as long as the color is blue.

As Anger:

- Your head is going to be a liability for your Anger cosplay if you have hair but no matter. If you have a red body paint, you can splat it all over your head and your body. If you had hair, paint it red with a dye bought from your nearest beauty store. No worries.

- For the top, you need to wear some light red polo shirt and a necktie. You can use any necktie you want as long as their as reddish as Anger's. For the trousers, find something that is dark red.

- You can wear any kind of leather shoes as you like as long as their dark in color.

As Disgust:

- Ladies, the first step to dress as Disgust is her hairstyle and because Disgust's all green, the first thing you'll need is a green wig. Any size will do as long the color matches Disgust's.

- Yes, a green body paint really is a disgusting choice but if you want to be Disgust, there's no other way to do it. You need to have your entire body covered in green in order to bring out the best of your Disgust cosplay.

- Disgust's fashion style involves a fuschia-colored scarf to wrap on your neck, a green one-piece dress, a green waist belt to match your dress, some green trousers, and some purplish shoes. Have these in your shopping list, ladies.

As Fear:

- Like the Anger cosplay I've mentioned, the head is the tricky part for the Fear cosplay and so is the body paint because it's difficult to find a body paint that is purplish. If you can mix both the red and blue body paints, you can improvise your very own purple body paint, which is exactly what you need to paint some parts of your body purple. If you have hair, which is somewhat a problem, don't worry. Color it purple!

- Fear's outfit is somewhat intellectual ranging from a long-sleeved purple polo shirt, a black and white vest, a red bowtie, a dark purple trousers, and some dark leather shoes. Be sure to shop for one of these items if you need to dress as Fear.

And there you have it. As long as you dressed as your favorite Inside Out emotions, the key point you should need to do when it comes to dress as your favorite emotions; act according to their emotions!

That's all. Dismissed.

How to dress as Bonnie

Bonnie is the little sister of Clemont, the Lumiose City Gym Leader, and although she’s too young to be a trainer just like her big brother, she has a very special friendship with a cute Electric-and-Fairy Pokemon named Dedenne. If she sees a very pretty lady, she would come approach to one and ask if she can take of her big brother. Sounds humorous but never mind because if you’re planning a Pokemon cosplay, here’s how to dress as Clemont’s little sister, Bonnie!

We’d recommend having a little girl from your family at a preschool age but in case you haven't got a little kid in your family, don’t worry because you can do this to yourself, unless if you’re a girl and if you have an adequate amount of budget to pull that off.

1) Start by finding a short-sleeved brown T-shirt but hopefully, the sleeves should not be too long or it will spoil it. If you got that kind of shirt, feel free to add a black ribbon on your shirt.

2) You need a white miniskirt for the outer part of your cosplay and for the inner part, some skin-tight cycling shorts (black, obviously).

3) Your hair needs to be blonde and short, although it’s difficult to match Bonnie’s hairstyle because of those round parts on it.

4) Although it’s difficult to find a yellow handbag similar to Bonnie’s, any handbag will do as long as it’s shoulder-carry and yellow.

5) Your shoes need to be pink. Any shoes will do as long as they’re pink and they’re not long-heeled. For a recommendation, why not find some pink clogs?

6) Optional: Bring a Dedenne plush with you

And there you have it. You can dress yourself as our favorite little sister who loves to ask out to take care of her big brother when she sees a pretty lady. That sounds comical but if you want to dress as Bonnie from Pokemon XY, follow these steps in no time.
