A 12-inch Catbug plush

A couple of days ago, I went to the Hot Topic branch in Westfield SouthCenter, just in the middle of last-minute Christmas shopping like everyone else does...and I found this...

I bought this recently at Hot Topic. It's a 12-inch Catbug plush from the Cartoon Hangover web series Bravest Warriors.

It maybe a Convention Exclusive but Hot Topic sells the remaining leftovers just for us for a very limited time. Lucky for us because Catbug is one of the cutest cartoon characters known to many. Why is Catbug cute? Ahem...remember the segment that I did before?

He costs around 18.50 US Dollars when I bought him at Hot Topic but luckily, there was a limited-time promotion at Hot Topic where when I buy one, I get one for half-price. I bought him second because the first one I bought is a present to my sister for Christmas. Because of that, my Catbug plush I bought costs 50% less. Talk about holiday savings during the last-minute Christmas shopping, eh?

Awww....look at Catbug! So cute! I really want to hug him so hard! Oh yeah, in case you don't know about this cute critter or about the Bravest Warriors, my suggestion is to watch it only on the Cartoon Hangover website.

So far, the latest episode in Bravest Warriors, now on its second season, is the one with Jelly Kid on it. Anyone watched it yet?

From every angle, you can see that this limited-edition plush that was modeled after Catbug really does look like the real thing and because he's a plush version of what I know to be the most adorable being in the web series, you can hug him whatever you want. You can snuggle him while you're sleeping, or you can take him along on your next trips.

If I'm honest, my Catbug plushie is worth a rarity in his own right, and since I once have a BMO plush at home, I can feel free to pair these two cuties up in my spare time! Pair these two adorable characters and you got yourself the feeling that you've died and went to cuties heaven! Awww...

If you're looking for one of these, best to be hurry because these adorable plushies are for a very limited time so once they're all gone, they're all gone so hurry.

Things are getting frosty with our Elsa plush

In my previous article, I checked out that Anna plushie I just bought from the Disney Store and I told that it really is a keeper for little girls of all ages and if I were you, this is definitely a must have for a collector of everything Disney. Looks like the D23 community are thinking about my decisive choice and now, days later, I bought the Elsa plush just for the sake of the D23 community.

Here it is! After my whole EENEY MEENEY MINEY MO negotiation in the past and the whole...cockups that I made my family disappointed, I have finally got my hands on the character whose icy powers deemed uncontrollable and caused the kingdom of Arendella trapped in eternal winter. Quite an appropriate plush for an appropriate weather, especially in the Pacific Northwestern part of the USA, get it?

Yep, Elsa's been a fan favorite after all, especially in all her icy glamour.

Just like that Anna plush I've purchased, it costs US$19.95, so it's a bit expensive for a plush but if you're planning to buy one as a gift this Christmas (or if you're in a middle of a Monito Monita), this is just one of the alternatives.

Even in plush, it's still as elegant as the character herself! Even her textured braid does matches her personality. Oh yeah, if you wanted to have an Elsa-fied hairstyle, there's a clip for that.

Watch: http://video.disney.com/watch/elsa-s-textured-french-braid-4e99bbff4273f1e2b6ab48bf

Aside from her elegant looks and her cold-hearted...well, personality, it's the detailing that make this 20-inch plush stand out. To match the self-styled ice queen's icy and cold-hearted personality, her gown is pattered with snowflakes as well as her cape. Looks a bit transparent through the human eye but her gown's still as elegant as a winter wonderland. Her satin shoes weren't quite bad though.

Elsa the self-styled and villainous snow queen...wow, I'm starting to feel the cold now as well as the atmosphere's getting all frosty. Not quite frosty yet at the Pacific Northwest where I'm here now. Not yet snowy. Just dark clouds and rain. Let's just wait until it snows and when it snows, I'm getting the sisters of Frozen ready but for now...

Look at them! How nice it is when you pair these two sisters? I mean, just look at those two. I can't really decide which of these two is pretty but hey, your guess is as good as mine, okay?

Ah, but not done yet. I still need something special. A special treatment for the sisters Anna and Elsa...

There, that's better. Anna and Elsa, say hello to Sofia from Sofia the First. Ah yes, look at those three, looking fresh and pretty.

So, there you go, although she maybe a cold-hearted ice queen, Elsa's still elegant for a fan favorite if whoever went to the cinemas just to watch Disney's Frozen. For a plush toy of her, it's still worth an elegance worth feeling for, unless you're feeling the cold in a cold light of day.

Checking out that Anna plushie

With Disney's Frozen still freezing into theaters now, fans of the latest Disney movie never get too old to be salivated for this newest addition to the Disney movie lineup, especially when Disney fans can't decide who's prettier if it's Elsa or Anna. Who cares about it? As the movie brings the chills and cheers for the whole family this holiday season, the merchandising is going to be a must have and to find out, I went to the Disney store at Westfield Southcenter earlier...

Here they are...tons of Frozen merchandise in stock at the Disney Store, ranging from store exclusives as well as costumes of both Anna and Elsa. They can either save one for next year's halloween or some little girl's birthday party or some convention or whatever.

Hey look! It's that snowman from Frozen! Olaf!!! Some say, he tries to keep himself cool and he is. Imagine if I bought one as well as Doc McStuffins' Chilly...Oh My Disney! Two snowmen from different worlds. Proper fun...He he he...

And now this is the big part where I must choose which of these two sisters I should bring home. Is it Anna, the main character who's on the quest to save the kingdom of Arendele from its icy despair, or is it Elsa, a fan favorite whose icy powers are deemed uncontrollable, causing the kingdom of Arendele into a winter wasteland? First of all, I tried using my so-called "mystic other-worldly powers" to choose which one. In that case, that's EENEY MEENEY MINEY MO to you.

No matter how many times I do EENEY MEENEY MINEY MO, it's always Elsa but my mind kept on protesting. I can't decide which one of these sisters I should keep but in the end, there could only be one Frozen plush that makes me saying "shut up and take my money"...

It's Anna of Arendele. I know...It's for the best. Choosing the heroine of the story may not be quite a good choice for a Disney fan but hey, Anna's quite a charm for a princess of that magnitude.

Well, it maybe as less expensive as the other Disney plushies, US$19.95 to be exact , but in every angle, I think this is probably the better looking Disney plushie I have ever bought in ages. Look at those designs accurately crafted to match the outfit as seen from the movie...

From her folk-styled plush cape, satin dress and faux fur hat, every angle will truly tell you how special this plush and when your little girl has one, well, this is just the perfect cuddle buddy even on her bedtime. As a collector's item, it is a bit of a meh but who cares? This is still the prettiest of all of the Disney princesses from the past to present. Theoretically but still stylish and full of energy.

Oh yeah, if you girls are willing to dress like Anna of Arendele, just the way you want, watch this video: http://video.disney.com/watch/miss-glamorazzi-anna-lookbook-frozen-4eab4892c0f55e4427dedd16

Here comes that Anna smile on her face...

Awww...

Now to bring out this Anna plush at its best, I need another Disney plush but since I refused the Elsa plush earlier, I chose one of our Disney favorites; something more of a princess, something that is almost of a princess, something like...

Yes. Sofia from the Disney Junior series Sofia the First. Like all good girls playing with their Disney princesses toys, a Sofia plushie is a Sofia at her best when paired with a Disney princess and amazingly, this is probably the best (or maybe rubbish) thing to do when it comes to make a first impression out of a new toy.

Here's what I did to these two new Disney princesses...

Anna of Arendele cuddled Sofia. Awww...Looks like Sofia had the most heartwarming experience encountering her new special friend in the wonderful world of Disney. Anna of Arendele from Frozen truly is a keeper for little girls of all ages and if I were you, this is definitely a must have, even Elsa. Have them both and it's really really more fun having the two sisters at your own hands.

What's that? Is there something inside in this reusable bag I bought at the Disney store? Yes, I do bought one but not the bag, something inside the bag. I'm not going to reveal what's inside but what it is is a gift, Christmas gift to our baby boy Irvine. That's it. Just a teaser. Thanks.

Toying around with Jake, Doc, and Sofia plushies

Now, here's something I can guarantee; I can guarantee that someone who reads this has a sibling or has a wife or their relatives had little kids under the age of six want to watch Disney Junior on their TVs. You did. I know you did. You let the little kids watching Disney Junior for long hours and when suddenly, most of the songs heard from the shows the kids watching stuck on your head and try and try memorizing it for the fun of it.

Here in this blog, I never do the growing up kind of thing. When we have kids, which in case my big sis has a baby boy, it's worth the hassle. When you see kids watching Disney Junior, you're feel free to be with them even though they're done for General Patronage's sake. However, I'm not talking about the whole "songs stuck in my head" stories...

I'm here because a couple of weeks ago, I bought our baby boy some plush toys of his favorite Disney Junior idols. I saw my big sis Elise let her baby Irvine watching some Disney Junior shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins, and Sofia the First. She did, I know she did but this is too much and now, most of the songs from those Disney Junior songs really stuck in my frontal lobes. Anyway, look what I bought for our baby boy...

It's Jake! From Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

Yes, it maybe a plush toy of Jake but overall, it still looks like him from the show our baby boy enjoyed a lot. Since our baby boy Irvine enjoyed watching this show so much, he really really likes it. Pirates is what little boys love to play as and that character really suits him quite well.

Okay, since I noticed that our baby boy Irvine watching some girly cartoons like Doc and Sofia, I bought along plush toys of Doc McStuffins and Sofia themselves!

Ignore that, they still look like them but hey, having plush toys of your favorite Disney Junior characters sounds fun if you have kids under the age of six.

A brave pirate, a toy doctor, and a princess-in-training, now that's what I called a holy trinity. Wow, Disney sure knows that their image isn't just all about Mickey Mouse after all...

See how our baby boy's enjoying with his DJ faves...

Oh! Oh! He's enjoying it! Wow, I never blogged something like this before...

The fat and the furriest

Now everytime when normal people wanted to get rid of fat, their only hope for weight loss is by exercise, proper diet, weight loss pills, so on, so forth. But in 2008, the year when The Doctor (who was David Tennant back then) and Donna Noble reunited for Season 4 of BBC Doctor Who, the only thing they remember on the Season 4 episode titled "Partners in Crime" was those cute little critters called Adipose. These "adiposes" were made out of human fat and whoever took a ominous weight-loss pills distributed by some sinister company called Adipose Industries may get their lives dissolved into several adiposes.

No matter how old you'd watched that episode several times, in case you had the Doctor Who Season 4 DVD with you, you'd promised yourself that "it's okay to be fat" as long as you're thinking that you had a bunch of super cute aliens lurking in your body. Your main confession as a Whovian is when every time when someone mentions a new diet, you think of these guys. So, if every Whovians says awwww to the super cute but incredibly deadly critties, why would anyone want to have one at home? Tsk. Many had tried to make fanmade Adipose plushies for keeps but due to interests, a toymaker named Underground Toys took the memo and made one of these...

And this might do the trick. This is the genuine, the proper, the handcrafted, Adipose plushie from Underground Toys and it's a huggable one because it was modeled after the actual Adipose creature as seen on the 2008 season of Doctor Who.

At first glance though, it kinda looks like an enlarged marshmallow. Looks like it came from another world filled with cute aliens. Anyway, forget about that and about this stuff toy.

Every single piece of this stuff toy is an inch perfect and as for me, this is the "only" proper Adipose plushie for those who want to want a snuggle, a hug, and a kiss with these critters made out of human fat. Well, forget about the kissing part but you get the idea.

Scanning with The Eleventh's sonic...

Now this little critter's taking the sonic...

We asked P&F about this and the only reply I'm having was... "Well it was definitely cuter than the Meap"

Meap? Never mind but still, the Adipose is much more cuter than Meap.

Welcome to Fat Heaven!

The Adipose in my workspace.

So, there you have it folks. That's everything I have to know about this super cute creature from BBC Doctor Who. All I can say is that this is the best plushie I ever had not only because it's cute on the outside but this is just inch ahead of being a Whovian. If you ever see one of those Adipose plushies on sale, be sure to buy one of these and give those critters made of human fat some good hugging.
