Driving Music (What is the name of the song on car commercial?) Volume 22

Okay, now I'm under attack by some idiot from Indonesia who left a message saying "theme song all new kia rio 2011; kaze". You know what, you're aftering the commercial song huh? That was rubbish. As the year 2011 ends, I'm going to close this Driving Music corner for the year 2011 with another set of 5 Driving Musics (Car Commercial Songs) for you to find and hear it on your car audio!

5. Do We Rock by Point Break - as heard from the Ssangyong Musso Sports Korean TV commercial.

4. Power Struggle by Klaus Badelt - as heard from the 2006 GM Daewoo Winstorm Korean TV commercial. (TRIVIA: This BGM is heard on Top Gear Series 3 Episode 1: The end of The Stig at HMS Invincible)

3. heart of glass by Blondie - as heard from the Toyota Aqua Japanese TV commercial.

2. You Really Got Me by Val Halen - as heard from the 1998 Nissan Skyline Japanese TV Commercial.

1. I Don't Wanna Be In Love by Good Charlotte - as heard from the latest Ssangyong Korando C Korean TV Commercial.

That's it. We'll conclude this. I'm sure the year 2012 will be jam-packed with more car commercials and with more songs to be filled on the car commercials. No matter what, I'll be there for those. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

The folks from Senner Tuning beefs up the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG a little with a little help of their upgraded ECU and exhaust that churns out 606HP of power and 690Nm of torque. The suspension's been enhanced and it features 20-inch Corniche Vegas rims.

Mercedes-Benz Vito modified by Vilner

Vilner Mercedes-Benz Vito interior

Bulgarian design studio, Vilner, has modified the Mercedes-Benz Vito into something luxurious that will bring both the Toyota Alphard Royal Lounge and the Hyundai Grand Starex Limousine to shame. This modified interior was heavily inspired from a first-class jet and it's jam packed with luxurious features such as Nappa leather seats, Alcantara upholstery, CL-Class inspired front seats, a 19-inch monitor, refrigerator, cup holders, and a personal minibar for your drinks!

This looks perfect for a celebrity and politicians alike. Perhaps this is something I would gladly want...

For the first time in MMFF history...

For over 37 years, the Metro Manila Film Festival never disqualified any of the pinoy movies that were entries to this said festival. However, the year 2011 mark the first. The first MMFF entry to be disqualified was the movie "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", which was produced by Regal Films.

Yes, that movie made by the hands of Mother Lily Monteverde became truly the first entry to be disqualified from the Metro Manila Film Festival. Never believe it? This was MMFF's first disqualified entry for almost four decades! Now, this movie stripped off its " Best Picture", "Best Director", "Best Screenplay" and "Gatpuno Antonio Villegas" awards. So, why did that film disqualified? The violation was deviated from the script.

The MMFF rule was that if the script's approved, you will not make further changes. Gosh, that made Mother Lily so worried, she thinks that "she will not to take part for next year's!" and that made me sad.

Okay, enough now. What matters most that most MMFF entries are heating up such as Enteng ng Ina Mo, Panday 2, Segunda Mano, Shake Rattle and Roll 13, My Househusband, Ikaw Na!, and Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story.

Report: Indonesia will be ASEAN's leading automotive market

2005 Toyota Kijang Innova

Reports from Paultan.org said that a country like Indonesia is set to become ASEAN's number one automotive market, overtaking Thailand because of the recent Thai Flood disaster since October.

New vehicle sales in Indonesia for the first 11 months of 2011 has been peaked to 17%, about over 800,000 units sold. Some say that Indonesia will be the safe haven for Japanese car factories and serve as an alternative to the flood-stricken Thailand.

The Philippines often sourced Japanese cars from Thailand but could we consider a country like Indonesia to source some Japanese vehicles? Not sure but be patient...

New CR-V sales exceed the target!

2012 Honda CR-V interior

And now, the news. The all new 4th generation Honda CR-V marked a milestone when it went on sale since early December. The target was 1500 units per month but sales reached double of the target. That's 3000 units sold in Japan. 52% of the customers choose the 20G variant while 48% choose the 24G 4WD variant.

What we're hoping that this new model will come to the Philippines soon...
