The 2015-2016 Seattle International Auto Show

Every Autumn in Seattle, the CenturyLink Field Event Center is filled with some of the hottest cars in the market for the annual Seattle International Auto Show presented by State Farm. I came here and took some photos of some of the freshest machines offered for the Northwestern public as well as special previews of upcoming models.

That's the new Mustang GT350, one of the most track-focused Mustangs ever made thanks to its incredible aerodynamics and handling that makes this muscle car well-behaved on track.

That's the Mercedes-AMG GT, undoubtedly one of the finest AMG sportscars ever made and with its 4.0L V8 Twin Turbo engine and its advanced technology, nothing can go wrong with it.

The Lamborghini Huracan makes its Seattle Auto Show appearance...again.

That's no ordinary Corvette. That's the Z06 with the supercharged V8 engine and racing know-how inspired from the C7.R racer that made class wins at Le Mans.

Plethora of honest, good-looking, classics provided by LeMay's, America's Car Museum.

A gorgeous-looking Lincoln Continental Concept making its Seattle Auto Show appearance.

Doctor Who S09E04

Picking up where last week's episode left off, the fourth episode of the ninth series of Doctor Who, titled Before The Flood, sees the Doctor and his allies set foot to Cold War-era Scotland while Clara remains on the 22nd century underwater base to keep an eye on Cass and Lunn while encountering the unexpected. We might think that this episode turned out to be a suicide mission for The Doctor but while it maybe a suicidal attempt to get things right, he faced off against an alien warlord known as the Fisher King. It's a good thing the blast from the dam gave this alien a sinking feeling to finish it.

Just before the start of the episode, The Doctor gave the viewers a much irrelevant trivia we might be interested with involving Beethoven's 5th and getting The Doctor's rock 'n roll groove on. Anyway, it's still a rocking rush to see The Doctor fought off a powerful enemy from a distant past and saved the future, albeit a costly one.

If you're a fan of Gravity Falls who can understand the secret message on this title, it says "How to dress as Dipper or Mabel Pines".

Anyway, Dipper Pines and Mabel Pines, the so-called Mystery Twins who are here to solve the supernatural phenomena lurking around the town called Gravity Falls.

We all enjoyed watching that hit Disney animated series because with a blend of horror, comedy, drama, romance, adventure, and the inevitable plot twists that keeps the viewers guessing what's next, Gravity Falls is already turning to be the next Adventure Time for all the wrong barrels.

Yes, you can dress yourself as either Dipper or Mabel, so here are some useful bits of advice that will make you become one of the Mystery Twins.

As Dipper:

- Dipper's signature hat is a white and blue cap with a pine tree on it. It's hard getting the real thing so it might best to improvise it with your own creativity.

- For his top, Dipper wears a red shirt and a dark blue outdoor vest. Those are easy to find at the shops as long at they match Dipper's.

- Dipper's shorts can be somewhat grayish or blackish. I don't know what but I belive it can be grayish so feel free to find whatever shorts you can find as long as it matches Dipper's.

As Mabel:

Now this is the difficult bit because Mabel's outfit keeps changing per episode and so are her sweater designs. Apart from the sweaters, the color of her headband and her skirt also changes per episode.

I've gone with one of my favorites for you, ladies, to consider for your Mabel cosplay;

That said, you are free to replicate whatever sweater design Mabel pulled off every episode, as long as you got the corresponding headband and skirt that well-suited for the sweater design of choice.

And that's it! You're done. Becoming one of the Mystery Twins is one way of saying you are ready to investigate the world's strangest moments just like in the show. Whether if its world-threatening prophecies, people with abnormal looks, or other paranormal activities that lurk around everyday, like what the mystery journals told, you can be sure that your outfits are ready to take on whatever the supernatural throws at you, Gravity Falls-style!

Good luck and BEWARB!

Let's Do The News! (October 9, 2015)

- PAGASA warns that at least seven more typhoons will hit the Philippines until the end of 2015.

Spain's tax authorities charged Messi and his father two years ago with defrauding the Spanish state and failed to pay over four million euro tax on income from image rights between 2007 and 2009.

- Yesterday, legendary Philippine singer Elizabeth Ramsey, died at the age of 83. It was confirmed by singer and her daughter Jaya via Facebook. Numerous celebrities mourn the death of their very own "Mama Beth". - You may remember that in the recent Eat Bulaga kalyeserye, Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza put on a disguise alongside the Da Explorer sisters to avoid getting spotted by Yaya Dub's mom, Isadora. Looks like her disguise is not just limited to the recent kalyeserye antics because she went to a Lifehouse concert last night using the said disguise because she's not invited. What's even more surprising is that she's not the only one spotted at a concert. It's Showtime's Pastillas Girl Angelica Jane Yap was present as well.

- Speaking of Pastillas Girl, looks like ABS-CBN's variety show, It's Showtime, is in hot water right now over an accusation that they are pimping Angelica Jane Yap on the "Nasaan Ka, Mr. Pastillas?" segment. Women's rights group Gabriela called it in their complaint against the variety show "unfair and irresponsible, but also hurtful and offensive to women like Angelica".
