Cho, Toutoi LOVE/New Black

Because today's Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club is an eight-member unit, a different sub-unit approach was implemented, meaning the unit was split into two teams.

The team, comprising Rurino Osawa (CV: Kanna Kan), Sayaka Murano (CV: Kokona Nonaka), Kosuzu Kachimachi (CV: Fuuka Hayama), and Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld (CV: Miu Miyake), will be known as "Ruri&To", while the other, comprising Hime Anyoji (CV: Rin Kurusu), Kaho Hinoshita (CV: Nozomi Nirei), Ginko Momose (CV: Hina Sakurai), and Izumi Katsuragi (CV: Amane Shindo) will be known as "PRINCEε>ε>".

This latest Hasunosora single is the first for the two shuffle teams ready to make their statements.

Cho, Toutoi LOVE/New Black
Cho, Toutoi LOVE/New Black

For this new single featuring Hasunosora's two shuffle teams, the former will perform two new songs, such as "Cho, Toutoi LOVE" and "Hey Say Gals!!!!", while the latter will perform the other two, such as "Nεw Black" and "IcHiGo milK love".

These new songs truly showcase how the two shuffle teams make their statements, and you should too. Expect more to come for Hasunosora's two shuffle teams.

Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2

The Nijigasaki finale trilogy continues with the second part, and this time, the girls are heading to Kansai for the next phase of the School Idol GPX.

Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2
Nijigasaki High School Idol Club
Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2

Set shortly after the first film, the second chapter of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club finale trilogy follows the girls as they travel to the Kansai region. Setsuna Yuki, Ai Miyashita, Karin Asaka, Rina Tennoji, Shioriko Mifune, and Mia Taylor are participating in the Kansai leg of the School Idol GPX, a competition where school idols from across Japan compete to become "the most popular school idol at the moment."

Unlike the first film, the second installment is set to bring intense drama by delving into the challenges faced by the featured idols. It raises more questions for fans who eagerly anticipate seeing the other members showcase their new songs. This chapter includes Mia's confrontation with her sister Chloe Taylor, Setsuna Yuki's quest for self-discovery and the true meaning of loyalty, and introduces a shadowy masked vigilante who seemingly appears out of nowhere. Overall, this second chapter delivers a gut-wrenching emotional experience.

As tensions continue to rise dramatically, this movie reveals the authentic essence of the Kansai region, featuring Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe. We can expect fans to flock to the locations highlighted in the film, creating a lively buzz around this "touring" experience. For LoveLivers, this is what tourism looks like, and the movie is sure to generate a lot of excitement.

From tensions to tourism, the second chapter of the Nijigasaki finale trilogy is a must-watch of the season. Those who enjoyed the first film last year can look forward to continuing with this latest installment.

Great to have you back, girls. Bring it on!

What is my LIFE?

The Love Live! franchise celebrates its 15th year by welcoming the world with its latest project titled "IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD." This new installment, designed for X (formerly known as Twitter) and YouTube, focuses on ten girls enrolled in different branches of Love High School. Together, they form a school idol team called "Ikizulive!" It comes from a time when school idols and "Love Live" became a distant thing of the past.

"Ikizulive!" consists of Honon Ayasaki as Polka Takahashi, Rina Endo as Mai Azabu, Seri Miyano as Akira Goto, Kokoro Fujino as Hanabi Komagata, Aiha Sakano as Miracle Kanazawa, Ria Seko as Noriko Chofu, Yuki Okumura as Yukuri Harumiya, Akane Amasawa as Aurora Konohana, Honoka Kotomori as Midori Yamada, and Aoi Suzunose as Shion Sasaki. They are the stars of the newest Love Live experience.

What is my LIFE?
What is my LIFE?

This is the debut single of the new generation of Love Live school idols, "Ikizulive!". It's titled "What is my LIFE?", and this debut single welcomes longtime Love Live veterans and newcomers to the newest members of the Love Live family, especially in times of uncertainty.

In addition to the main offering from their debut single, it features an additional song titled ヒミツミチ.

The Love Live! franchise is one of the most iconic anime franchises in ages, but thanks to the demise of the School Idol Festival games, which allow fans to get to know more about μ’s, Aqours, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and Liella better, leaving only the "Link! Like! Love Live!" app game featuring the only school idol group they can play with; the Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club, it feels like the franchise's popularity have plummeted to almost none.

With "Ikizulive!" being the franchise's newest addition, will this save the franchise or let it rot? Only time will tell.

A quick history of 15 years of Love Live!

June 30th, 2025, marks 15 years of the Love Live! franchise. From μ’s, Aqours, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, Liella!, to Hasu no Sora, we have been with Love Live since the very beginning and will continue to follow the franchise. We have been there since the first installment and will continue to be there for the next. To commemorate 15 years of Love Live!, it’s time for a super-quick history lesson.

Love Live! Series 15th Anniversary
Love Live! Series 15th Anniversary

μ’s - The Love Live! series started on this day, June 30th, 2010. This is the day we celebrate the franchise's first school idol unit, μ's. The group consists of Honoka Kosaka, Umi Sonoda, Kotori Minami, Rin Hoshizora, Hanayo Koizumi, Maki Nishikino, Eli Ayase, Nozomi Tojo, and Nico Yazawa. Their first single, "Bokura no Live, Kimi to Life" debuted on August 25, 2010, and that's how the legend began. Three years later, μ's made their way to TV sets. In the TV anime "Love Live! School Idol Project", fans learn the origin story of μ's and how they risk themselves to save Otonokizaka High School from collapse. After two seasons, μ's story concluded with the movie version launched in 2015. A year after the movie, the world bid farewell to μ's with the Final Love Live concert at the end of March 2016.

Aqours - Five years after the first installment of the Love Live! franchise, a new generation of idol was created. The group, which was known as Aqours, was introduced with a TV anime series. The group had a total of nine members: Chika Takami, You Watanabe, Riko Sakurauchi, Yoshiko Tsushima, Hanamaru Kunikida, Ruby Kurosawa, Dia Kurosawa, Kanan Matsuura, and Mari Ohara. Their first single was released on October 7, 2015, and is titled "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteiru Kai?". The TV anime series ran for two seasons, with the finale having aired in January 2019. The group is also well known for its song featured in the spin-off series titled "Yohane of Parhelion -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR-," which was released in 2023. Aqours' final concert was in June 2025.

Nijigasaki High School Idol Club - Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a byproduct of the Perfect Dream Project from the now-defunct Love Live! School Idol Festival games. Three original idols from the first SIF app game—Shizuku Osaka, Emma Verde, and Kanata Konoe—were chosen to be part of the newest idol group, along with six new faces: Ayumu Uehara, Setsuna Yuki, Karin Asaka, Ai Miyashita, Rina Tennouji, and Kasumi Nakasu.

The group's debut album, "TOKIMEKI Runners," was launched on November 21, 2018. On September 26, 2019, the Nijigasaki members' stories unfolded when Love Live! School Idol Festival All-Stars was released. As the Nijigasaki story progresses, the group welcomes three new additions: Shioriko Mifune, Zhong Lanzhu, and Mia Taylor.

In the fall of 2020, the Nijigasaki story came to life on TV. The Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club TV anime series lasts for two seasons and centers on the eyes of a young teenage girl named Yu Takasaki, who holds the fate of the group. The first of the three-part Nijigasaki finale movies came out last year, and the second is due out this November 2025.

This group's story has an additional distinction. While this group is not just the first in the Love Live! franchise to add members, it is the first to have a seiyuu replaced. Tomori Kusunoki announced her retirement from her role as Setsuna Yuki at the end of March 2023 due to health concerns, and she was replaced by Coco Hayashi.

Liella! - What is Liella!? Liella! is the newest addition to the Love Live franchise, and it comprises five interstellar school idols who hail from the Yuigaoka Girls' High School. These girls are Kanon Shibuya, Tang Keke, Sumire Heanna, Chisato Arashi, and Ren Hazuki. They debuted on April 7, 2021, with their single "Hajimari wa Kimi no Sora." Three months later, their origin story unfolded on the TV screens.

Their story followed Liella! through the second season with the addition of four new members: Kinako Sakurakoji, Mei Yoneme, Shiki Wakana, and Natsumi Onitsuka. In a run-up for the third and final season that aired last Autumn 2024, the group grew to include Wien Margarete and Tomari Onitsuka, rounding out the group. Liella! is the next generation of school idol idols, and they promise to continue the Love Live tradition.

School Idol Musical - The School Idol Musical production is the first to feature an original story, not based on any of the existing Love Live! series. The show, which debuted in 2022, focuses on the challenges and triumphs of 10 high school girls as they pursue their dreams. The musical follows a group of school girls and their musical aspirations, featuring fresh and experienced talented actors alike. The show's positive reception led to the addition of further performances. There is also a live-action mini-drama, aired last November, another first for the series.

Hasu no Sora Girls' High School Idol Club - Link! Like! Love Live! is the first in the Love Live! series to take on an entirely digital format. This app is centered around a group called the Hasu no Sora Girls' High School Idol Club.

The original members are Kaho Hinoshita, Kozue Otomune, Sayaka Murano, Tsuzuri Yugiri, Megumi Fujishima, and Rurino Osawa.

Three new members were added during the app's second year of service. These are Ginko Momose, Kosuzu Kachimachi, and Hime Anyoji.

The 104th Final Term Fes x LIVE in Link! Like! Love Live! marked the last performance for three members before they were replaced. Those three members who were replaced are Kozue Otomune, Megumi Fujishima, and Tsuzuri Yugiri. Kozue, Megumi, and Tsuzuri were replaced by two new members: Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld and Izumi Katsuragi.

Ikizulive! - The Love Live! franchise celebrates its 15th year by welcoming the world with its latest project titled "IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD." This new installment, designed for X (formerly known as Twitter) and YouTube, focuses on ten girls enrolled in different branches of Love High School. Together, they form a school idol team called "Ikizulive!" It comes from a time when school idols and "Love Live" became a distant thing of the past.

,,,and there you have it. 15 years of the Love Live! series. The past, present, and future of the franchise that rocked the world. Whether you're a seasoned Love Liver or a newcomer, whichever Love Live series group you represent, you are glad that you have been part of the franchise that caused a lot of stir around the globe.

HAPPY 15TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE LOVE LIVE! SERIES!

How to dress as the Ikizulive girls

In case you missed it, the Love Live! franchise has unveiled its latest project titled "IKIZULIVE!

With the reception to the newest installment escalating, it's time to teach you how to be one of your favorite Ikizulive girls as cosplay season is reaching its boiling point.

IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD
IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD

As Polka Takahashi - Polka is a first-year high school student attending the Asakusa satellite campus of Love High School. She struggled with math in her early years and also failed her high school entrance exam. However, her life changed when she discovered L High, an online high school. To be Polka, you must first get a long orange wig and give it a tail on your left. Simple, really.

As Mai Azabu - Mai is a first-year high school student attending the Asakusa satellite campus of Love High School. She excels in Tronware, programming, and logical thinking, and dreams of creating a beautiful programming language no one has seen before. A short blackish wig should do the trick, given that her hairstyle is about the same size as Liella's Tang Keke. Don't forget to put a light blue ribbon on your front right.

As Akira Goto - Akira is a first-year high school student attending the Asakusa satellite campus of Love High School. Akira aims to be a top athlete someday, so she enrolled at L High to pursue her hopes. She prefers spending time alone rather than with the others. Becoming Akira requires getting a long brownish wig and giving it a ponytail as long as it matches Akira's hairstyle. Don't forget the small light green ribbon to your right.

As Hanabi Komagata - Hanabi is a first-year high school student attending the Asakusa satellite campus. Her family runs a kimono shop and hopes to take over the business someday. An extremely long black wig and a yellow ribbon to your left is more than enough to become Hanabi. Be mindful of the kimonos.

As Miracle Kanazawa - Miracle is a second-year high school student at L High's Fukui satellite campus. She aspires to become a top pastry chef one day. To become Miracle, you need long, fluffy pink hair adorned with two star-shaped hairpins on your left side.

As Noriko Chofu - Noriko is a first-year high school student at L High's Fukui satellite campus. She aspires to become a voiceover and after taking an audition since she was a senior middle school student, she was able to join a talent agency, but she doesn't have a proper job yet. To become Noriko, you will need long, dark purple hair as well as two lavender ribbons on your top. That's it.

As Yukuri Harumiya - Yukuri is a first-year student enrolling at L High's Umeda satellite campus. She has been learning ballet since she was little, and she loves musicals. Just a short brownish wig should do the trick as long as it matches Yukuri's description.

As Aurora Konohana - Aurora is a second-year student enrolling at L High's Umeda satellite campus. She returned from Los Angeles due to her parents' work and believes that "love is justice". Remind you of someone? Anyway, Aurora has extremely long, light blond hair. As long as you have that kind of wig that matches Aurora's description, you'll be fine.

As Midori Yamada - Midori is a first-year student at L High's Umeda satellite campus. She is passionate about environmental awareness, and her enrollment at L High is her way of promoting this cause. Midori Yamada, the group's environmental activist, has a green hairstyle similar to Maomao, the main character in "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto." If you have been saving a Maomao wig, you will likely need it to dress as her.

As Shion Sasaki - Shion is a first-year high-school girl of unknown origin. She loves coordinating uniforms and broadcast videos from her home, but she mostly can't go to school due to trivial matters, and prefers to stay in her room. To become Shion, you'll need a short brownish wig that resembles the hairstyle of Yukiho Hagiwara from THE IDOLM@STER. Make sure the hair color is slightly darker than Yukiho's. Once you have the wig, add a pair of white nekomimi headphones, and you're all set!

...and there you have it. How to dress as the Ikizulive girls.

Good luck trying to become one of your new favorite school idols from Love High School, as long as it follows the strict Fan-Made Contents Policy. That's all I can say.
