Cho, Toutoi LOVE/New Black

Because today's Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club is an eight-member unit, a different sub-unit approach was implemented, meaning the unit was split into two teams.

The team, comprising Rurino Osawa (CV: Kanna Kan), Sayaka Murano (CV: Kokona Nonaka), Kosuzu Kachimachi (CV: Fuuka Hayama), and Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld (CV: Miu Miyake), will be known as "Ruri&To", while the other, comprising Hime Anyoji (CV: Rin Kurusu), Kaho Hinoshita (CV: Nozomi Nirei), Ginko Momose (CV: Hina Sakurai), and Izumi Katsuragi (CV: Amane Shindo) will be known as "PRINCEε>ε>".

This latest Hasunosora single is the first for the two shuffle teams ready to make their statements.

Scarlet (2025 film)

Mamoru Hosoda, the visionary behind the animated classic Mirai, returns with his latest work, which is going to be a must-watch anime movie of the season.

Scarlet (2025 film)
Scarlet (2025 film)

Mamoru Hosoda's latest masterpiece, titled "Scarlet", made its debut at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, where it attracted significant attention. Set in the Medieval Times, the story follows Princess Scarlet, who, after failing to avenge her father's death, is plunged into the underworld, a realm inhabited by wandering souls. There, she meets a young man named Sai, a nurse from modern-day Japan. As she learns that Claudius, her uncle and the man who killed her father and seized her kingdom, is lurking in the underworld, Princess Scarlet must choose between vengeance and justice.

Another visionary masterpiece in the making since Mirai, Scarlet showcases a unique storytelling approach that blurs the lines between time and personal loyalty, as well as the path between vendetta and justice. This originality makes it feel like a blend of The Lord of the Rings anime movie, The War of the Rohirrim, and the universe of Makoto Shinkai. The film is gripping, emotional, and intense, revealing the true essence of this latest Mamoru Hosoda masterpiece.

If you loved Mirai, you should check out Scarlet. It's one of the must-watch anime movies not just for the entire autumn season but for the entire year 2025.

Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2

The Nijigasaki finale trilogy continues with the second part, and this time, the girls are heading to Kansai for the next phase of the School Idol GPX.

Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2
Nijigasaki High School Idol Club
Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2

Set shortly after the first film, the second chapter of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club finale trilogy follows the girls as they travel to the Kansai region. Setsuna Yuki, Ai Miyashita, Karin Asaka, Rina Tennoji, Shioriko Mifune, and Mia Taylor are participating in the Kansai leg of the School Idol GPX, a competition where school idols from across Japan compete to become "the most popular school idol at the moment."

Unlike the first film, the second installment is set to bring intense drama by delving into the challenges faced by the featured idols. It raises more questions for fans who eagerly anticipate seeing the other members showcase their new songs. This chapter includes Mia's confrontation with her sister Chloe Taylor, Setsuna Yuki's quest for self-discovery and the true meaning of loyalty, and introduces a shadowy masked vigilante who seemingly appears out of nowhere. Overall, this second chapter delivers a gut-wrenching emotional experience.

As tensions continue to rise dramatically, this movie reveals the authentic essence of the Kansai region, featuring Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe. We can expect fans to flock to the locations highlighted in the film, creating a lively buzz around this "touring" experience. For LoveLivers, this is what tourism looks like, and the movie is sure to generate a lot of excitement.

From tensions to tourism, the second chapter of the Nijigasaki finale trilogy is a must-watch of the season. Those who enjoyed the first film last year can look forward to continuing with this latest installment.

Great to have you back, girls. Bring it on!

Aikatsu x PriPara THE MOVIE: Deai no Kiseki!

The impossible dream becomes a reality because, for the first time ever, the worlds of Aikatsu and PriPara collide in this movie event of the season in honor of a decade of the Aikatsu anime's Akari Generation arc and the PriPara anime.

Aikatsu x PriPara THE MOVIE: Deai no Kiseki!

Deai no Kiseki!

The long-awaited dream collaboration has finally arrived in this season's must-see movie event. In celebration of a decade of the Aikatsu anime's Akari Generation arc and the PriPara anime, "Aikatsu x PriPara THE MOVIE: Deai no Kiseki!" brings together two of the most iconic family-friendly idol anime series that aired on TV Tokyo ten years ago. This exciting mashup promises to leave a lasting impact on both beloved idol franchises.

The Luminas trio from Aikatsu (comprising Akari Ozora, Hinaki Shinjo, and Sumire Hikami) and the SoLaMi Smile from PriPara (comprising Laala Manaka, Mirei Minami, and Sophy Hojo) are joined with some of the most memorable characters from both series for the biggest spectacle fans will never forget.

It's a dream come true to see the worlds of Aikatsu and PriPara combined in this movie. The classic moments, the greatest hits, all the way to the grand finale—this is definitely a must-watch for anyone who loved both the Aikatsu and the Pretty Series. A real treat for kids of the 2010s who fell in love with these two memorable anime series.

The movie has temporarily settled the debate between the Aikatsu series and the Pretty Series. However, while fans got what they wanted, the Pretty Series remains prominent, and the Aikatsu series has diminished as a viewer-only experience due to the recent Aikatsu Academy series. It's a long story, but never mind. Just enjoy it. It's a fitting tribute to both iconic idol anime franchises loved by Japanese families.

The newest "Run, Hany" movie, titled "Bad Girl", is an original film created in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the "Run, Hany" series. This anime movie features a brand-new voice cast for the series' most iconic characters. Jeong Hye-won, known for her roles in "Rainbow Bubblegem" and "Shooting Star Catch! Teenieping", voices the titular character, Hany. The cast also includes Kang Shi-hyun from "Bread Barbershop" and "Shapes" as Na Aeri, along with Hong Beom Ki (also from "Bread Barbershop"), Lee Sae-byeok ("Yellow Muzi and Friends"), Lee Sang-ho, Kim Hyun-wook ("Cookie Run Kingdom"), and Kwak Gyu-mi.

"Run, Hany" is back like never before, offering a modernized and mature take on the classic Korean anime that '80s kids grew up watching. Fans will appreciate how it stays true to the original series while still evolving the story. The rivalry between Hany and Na Aeri continues to intensify, especially as they now compete for a spot on the youth national team. Times have changed, but a good story like this never changes.

A nostalgia reborn for the big screen, this is what '80s kids who grew up watching this anime have been waiting for since the series finale a long time ago. With the rivalry between Hany and Na Aeri back on, this is one way to celebrate 40 years of the "Run, Hany" series.

What is my LIFE?

The Love Live! franchise celebrates its 15th year by welcoming the world with its latest project titled "IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD." This new installment, designed for X (formerly known as Twitter) and YouTube, focuses on ten girls enrolled in different branches of Love High School. Together, they form a school idol team called "Ikizulive!" It comes from a time when school idols and "Love Live" became a distant thing of the past.

"Ikizulive!" consists of Honon Ayasaki as Polka Takahashi, Rina Endo as Mai Azabu, Seri Miyano as Akira Goto, Kokoro Fujino as Hanabi Komagata, Aiha Sakano as Miracle Kanazawa, Ria Seko as Noriko Chofu, Yuki Okumura as Yukuri Harumiya, Akane Amasawa as Aurora Konohana, Honoka Kotomori as Midori Yamada, and Aoi Suzunose as Shion Sasaki. They are the stars of the newest Love Live experience.

What is my LIFE?
What is my LIFE?

This is the debut single of the new generation of Love Live school idols, "Ikizulive!". It's titled "What is my LIFE?", and this debut single welcomes longtime Love Live veterans and newcomers to the newest members of the Love Live family, especially in times of uncertainty.

In addition to the main offering from their debut single, it features an additional song titled ヒミツミチ.

The Love Live! franchise is one of the most iconic anime franchises in ages, but thanks to the demise of the School Idol Festival games, which allow fans to get to know more about μ’s, Aqours, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and Liella better, leaving only the "Link! Like! Love Live!" app game featuring the only school idol group they can play with; the Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club, it feels like the franchise's popularity have plummeted to almost none.

With "Ikizulive!" being the franchise's newest addition, will this save the franchise or let it rot? Only time will tell.
