FH3 Hot Wheels: Hunter SPECTRE

The Range Rover Sport SVR has been proven to be track-capable and offroad-ready Range Rover ever made for the discerning few and it's been featured in 007: SPECTRE where it met its fate with the snow plane during a snowy pursuit in Austria. If the RR Sport SVR has been proven to do almost everything at its disposal, what would happen if I sent the SVR to the most extreme challenge yet; the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia?

As we know, the Jaguar Land Rover team are very skillful in the art of PR marketing by doing some insane stuff when they launch a new car. They drove a Range Rover through a bridge made out of paper, their new Jag can drive through wires, an F-Pace can do insane loop-the-loops, there are so much insane stuff they ever made in honor of their new cars but for this, the Range Rover Sport SVR, what else to do with it than setting this track-honed sports utility vehicle on the wonderful world of Hot Wheels? Drive it, of course.

At stock, the RR Sport SVR feels pretty good to me, especially when I drove this one round Blizzard Mountain on frigid conditions, but because this is Hot Wheels, is a tough world out there so this hunk of British bulldog needs to get prepared for the worst outcome or else, get left behind in a stomping tantrum of high horsepower. In short, the hunter becomes the hunted. With all that taken care of, the Range Rover Sport prepares for an all-out war with the other SUVs and it's my job to do the impossible for the SVR or my name ain't Hunter SPECTRE. Get it?

Well, not much of a hunter myself but the hunter turned all of its competitors into its prey for tea and for the Range Rover Sport SVR, it managed to do the bold just like all of its relatives in the Jaguar Land Rover lineup done in the past. Needless to say, I want some more of the SVR because this has been one of my favorite SUVs since it got featured in SPECTRE. Like the dinosaur guarding Thrilltopia, this Range Rooney's a primal in every tangible way and it's the ideal SUV to turn the hunters into the hunted so watch out, naughty folks.

FH3 Hot Wheels: The Big Finish!

If you get up to 100 medals during your Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels adventure, you'll have access to the biggest Hot Wheels experience ever witnessed, which is none other than the Hot Wheels Goliath event. This event serves as the ultimate challenge where their insane driving experience they felt at the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia will be heavily tested in this ultimate rollercoaster ride where one single mistake will spell disaster for the driver.

For this final challenge at the Thrilltopia, I've selected FH3 Hot Wheel's hero car, the legendary Twin Mill, one of the most iconic Hot Wheels toy cars ever made, and because this is the hero car of FH3 Hot Wheels, there's a saying; Where it all began, where it all will end.

Of course, most of you saying there is no way your Twin Mill hero will survive Hot Wheels Goliath because this is an S2-class race and this car's S1-class and even if it tweaked to meet its regulations, there's no way it can take on powerful opponents. There will be Regeras, FXXKs, and Huayra BCs hounding on my backs like thieves at night and I understand that but this is the hero car so let the hero car win just once, ok? Let heroes finish what they started and that's my point.

Some folks are right though because even though it possesses almost a thousand and a half horses from its twin engines bolted at the front, it feels very heavy to handle and in this extreme circuit event, there is an extremely high chance that the Twin Mill will end up on a major slippage or fall on the ramp because of some jerk doing big miscalculations on where he will launch his favorite hero car at. But no matter the risk, I want to do this for the honor of Hot Wheels and nothing's going to stop me from giving a proper sendoff to the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia.

Without further ado, here goes...

After so much mud, sweat, and gears later, I finally did it! I finally owned the HW Goliath with the hero car and man, looks like I don't want to do that thing again unless I need a much suitable fast car for this task.

So, I finally conquered some of the extreme tracks on the rest of Horizon Australia. In the main campaign, I took down the Goliath Circuit with the Centenario. In Blizzard Mountain, I won the Kingmaker to claim the Ford Focus RX from Gymkhana 9, and now, I have beaten the Hot Wheels Goliath with the Twin Mill. It's all in the heroes' line of duty; finish what they have started.

Now that I finished the extremes, what's next? Well, we got a lot of mess to clean this up after all these tough challenges because even though I braved through the toughest, the journey's not yet over because there are plenty of leftovers around Horizon Australia, Blizzard Mountain, and Thrilltopia that need to be cleaned. I guess it's all up to me now but if I have some impressions about the cars I'm driving, I'm free to do so, but in the meantime, the journey continues...

FH3 Hot Wheels: PRIME Day

It's Prime Day and what better way to honor such a day of whatever that means to online shoppers than taking a spin round Hot Wheels Thrilltopia with some of the feral machines known to many, those that rev themselves to the prime meridian of their lives and whether if its against the likes of a HALO jumper, a mid-engined sportscar, or just for the fun of it, these prime specimens are all about business and leisure without compromise.

These are the prime specimens in question; the original Ford F-150 SVT Raptor with its 6.2L V8 engine, the 250HP Renaultsport Megane which is questionably the last three-door Renaultsport Megane in history as its replacement will be available as a five-door only, and the track-only finale of the legendary Pagani Zonda, the Zonda R.

Those three machines are humming to the sounds of the prime and despite being different in every tangible way, they are always in sync to the prime of their lives as they are proud to do whatever they want. The Raptor, for instance, once raced a HALO jumper and lost, the Megane once raced a mid-engined German roadster and lost, and the Zonda R, well, it tries to impress the driver with everything at its disposal. No matter the situation, the song of prime is what kept these machines alive for the prime of their lives as they enjoy their most insane races of their lives.

Since this is Prime Day, the Raptor, the Megane, and the Zonda are ready for their most insane race of their lives once more but first...

These prime specimens have been given improvements to survive Hot Wheels Thrilltopia. The Zonda R has became an inch replica of the Zonda Revolucion. The F-150 SVT Raptor became the Velociraptor by Hennessey. And the Megane RS250 became the Megane RS N4. The Revolucion replica is my idea while the Velociraptor and the Megane N4 are borrowed from a well-known expert in replicas. Guess I should give them credit after this. Anyway, with all set, these heavy beasts are ready for the prime of their lives as they are facing against a jurassic menace lying beneath the Hot Wheels tracks like bats out of hell.

This is exactly why they called PRIME Day because these prime specimens enjoyed the most insane races of their lives and even though their races are very dangerous, they feel like it should be like this all day. How's that for an epic soundtrack? From Arizona to Rockingham, this is business and leisure without compromise. This is PRIME and they are all made for their most insane moments in the prime of their lives.

Speaking of which, the Hot Wheels Goliath Circuit event's opened for business and looks like we'll end this note right here as I'm going to prepare the most insane race in my life right here in Thrilltopia. Until then, the journey continues...

FH3 Hot Wheels: Dino Thunder

As you can see, we are rejoined by the Mercedes-AMG GT R, the most hardcore version of the Mercedes-AMG GT, and while donning the familiar design I made since our last encounter, it's taking on a new adventure right here on Thrilltopia. Of course being Thrilltopia, the AMG GT R isn't just taking on the toughest visitors because today. we're trying to brave through this...

(roaring sounds)

We're trying to brave through an area infested by a giant T-Rex. Don't worry, they're not real, they're just mechanical T-Rexes, but seriously, they're as real as themselves so watch out for these metal munchers because it's going to be catastrophic if you get too close with these primal predators.

It's not just the T-Rexes we have to worry about now because even though this is the AMG equivalent of the Porsche 911 GT3, the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia is a free-for-all battleground so you will never know which cars your opponents might have and because this was designed to test the limits of your driving, you need some decent strategy to survive this primal playground designed from your childhood dreams and nightmares. Even when I'm brave against these gigantic creatures, it's the fast cars I should be worrying about because I never know what comes under the hood and they should not be underestimated.

Anyway, no time to be sappy right now because now is the time to unleash the AMG GT R, along with its Yuzu-ness for a shiny smile of my face in the face of danger, in an epic battleground where bravery comes first before speed and everything else. So, best of luck, then.

Now that was the toughest challenge we faced in this playground but the AMG GT R barely made it after all that bravery and speed witnessed in this dinosaur-infested battleground. I got to say that this was one heck of an epic drive indeed with the AMG GT R and looks like I am getting the hang of this place...well, almost.

FH3 Hot Wheels: Queenly Majesty

When the last time we encounter this "queenly majesty" in the nightlife of Hot Wheels Thrilltopia, I was thrilled that my kind of Porsche Panamera wanted to join the thrills and spills of Thrilltopia while giving me a total misery this "perfect queen" wanted me to do.

I don't really know why but this calls for a Bon Bon Voyage for me and the queen taking a summer vacation at Thrilltopia.

You may remember this second-generation Porsche Panamera Turbo that I tried back moments ago and then later transformed into the "perfect queen" with the gift of the "queenly majesty" to bow the eyes of beholders. That's Miss Elza Forte to you, by the way, but as the Tailor of Panamera returned for duty, it's my job to keep her entertained during our long summer holiday...unless you found out that summer happened months ago and it's already winter.

This "perfect queen" knows how to enjoy a little Game of Thrones here on Thrilltopia and she's very pleased. Very very pleased.

FH3 Hot Wheels: To Greater Heights

The BMW M2 has been one of my favorite M cars in Forza Horizon 3. I once challenged it against a Ford Focus RS as well as a Bentley Bentayga for some all intents and purposes and it shows that even though it's not as sharp and as powerful as any of the BMW M-cars, the M2 is better in every tangible way and I can get around with this Bimmer as long as I want, as long as that design I made is with me.

Now, it's ready to take on a brand new challenge, this time at Hot Wheels Thrilltopia because we're in a middle of our Hot Wheels arc of our Horizon trip, and to get itself prepared for this new kind of challenge, I've created a masterpiece just for the M2.

Love the new design I made for this? Made to replicate Yume Nijino's new outfit on the second season of Aikatsu Stars. I know, I know, it's an S4 uniform and with Yume wearing the outfit only the most elite students should wear, it feels great that she finally got the dream of becoming one of them. But even though her dream to be an S4 was fulfilled, there's more work need to be done to defend her title and to that, she needs help from one of her friends. Someone who spins herself like she was thunderstruck, someone who loves to poke her belly, and there she is.

Well, if it isn't the turbocharged, all-wheel drive, Ford Focus RS, with the Rola Sakuraba-themed look I made for it. However, it looked different from the last time. Wonder why...

Okay, now that explains everything. Rola in the same uniform as Lily Shirogane really mean one thing. No, she's not as desperate as she is but because she was easily defeated by Yume, all she ever does is to work as hard as she can before she can join the elite ranks some other time. Now that she's on the same boat as Yume and the others, they're officially partners again. Just like old times.

Anyway, with their designs updated to keep up with the times, as well as some new tricks to their sleeves since our last encounter with these things, let's see if they are ready to go through new heights in this epic roller coaster paradise we are venturing right now. Are these gals ready for the trip of a lifetime?

After a little night out at the Thrilltopia, it's fair to say that even through they've changed a bit, their attitudes never changed a bit and looks like they're up to greater heights, literally! The one who achieved the dream and the other one trying hard to be like her, they're in sync with each other! Speaking of which...

Heh? What's that queenly majesty doing here? Something tells me this isn't over between those two. He he he. Anyway, let's leave it at then and in the meantime, we have the whole Thrilltopia to go around for more as the journey continues.

FH3 Hot Wheels: The First Day of the Rest of your Life!

Welcome everyone to the Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels expansion pack, where your childhood fantasies became even more outrageous than ever with signature Hot Wheels stunts come to life in the Land Down Under. Horizon couldn't get even more exhilarating than this!

On your first arrival at the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia, you are greeted by one of the most intimidating Hot Wheels car ever to come out from every kid's toy box, the Bone Shaker, and as you drive through your new Horizon Festival, the welcome tour includes not just the iconic Hot Wheels iconic orange tracks but also some signature Hot Wheels stuff such as Speed Boost, the loop-the-loop, the cobra coil, the fire ring, and for a bigger treat, a mechanical dinosaur to scare you off. This is exactly what is like to be in the world of Hot Wheels.

Don't get to awed by the idea of living in your childhood fantasy because you're going to need some concentration and timing to conquer whatever you may come across in Hot Wheels Thrilltopia. From the speed boosts to the loop-the-loop, you need to be fast enough to outsmart the competition because if you go slower than that, the difference between a win and a loss could narrow and opponents closing on you may slip out by surprise so be careful while you're out there. Oh, best not to look down if you have fear of heights.

For my first outing at the Hot Wheels Thrilltopia, I am behind the wheel of the Rip Rod, an offroad buggy that shows that even the smallest of size can be the most intimidating, and now, I'm going off to introduce what to expect in the world of Hot Wheels.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is what you called "extreme racing" and just like in Blizzard Mountain, every time you win a race or complete a stunt/bucket list challenge, you'll earn medals. Earn enough medals to progress through the next batch of races and stunts to complete.

So, do you think you can work your way to the big finale they've lined up in Hot Wheels Thrilltopia? Well, time to get going because these medals don't earn by themselves and between you and me, this will be the most challenging adventure yet.

Good luck and drive fast!
