Brabus B63-620 Widestar

Brabus B63-620 Widestar

What you're looking here is a new model from BRABUS. It's called the B63-620 Widestar and this is essentially a tuned version of the recently-launched Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, the one with the 5.5L V8 twin turbo engine on it.

As you can see, BRABUS does a really great job tuning the latest Mercedes-Benz models through the years, just like what Alpina did to BMW models. Here on the all new B63-620, which is a tuned G63 AMG though, that is no excuse for Brabus. Thanks to its Brabus B63-620 PowerXtra module, the power of the AMG 5.5L V8 engine has been improved from 400 kW / 544 hp (536 bhp) to 456.3 kW / 620 hp (611 bhp) at a low 5,750 rpm. Peak torque grows simultaneously from 760 to 820 Nm (560 to 604 lb-ft), available on a plateau between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. 0-60mph is now 5.1 seconds and flatout it will be doing 130 or 143 mph.

There was also some cleverness on the exhausts from the B63-620. To make it sound quietly, hit it to "Coming Home" mode but if you want a very loud noise to wake the dead, hit this one to "Sport" mode. They can either be engaged on the steering wheel and there's more, there are paddle shifters on it that BRABUS says it can shift like a Formula-One car.

In terms of styling, a BRABUS-made body kit and 23-inch forged rims made by BRABUS themselves really made the B63-620 a very stylish off-roader that impresses the crowd if you're driving in posh cities elsewhere. Also, this off-roader's purely a bespoke model, meaning that it can be tailored to your specifications, showing off its exclusivity based on the owner's personal tastes.

As for the handling, this is much better than the normal G-Class because the B63-620 comes with suspension made by Bilstein, making it as sharper as a sportscar and with the Ride Control suspension, it matches your driving style, road conditions, and its personality while driving one of these.

ABT tunes the seventh Golf

ABT Golf 7

No kidding. They've done it again. The tuning commenced on the latest, seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf and it's all thanks to some German tuning firm, ABT Sportsline.

In addition to a wide body kit developed for this generation as well as the available 18 or 19-inch rims, the engine choices on the new Golf were tuned specifically from ABT. So on the 1.2 TSi engine, this beefs from 85 to 105PS. On the 1.4 TSi engine, the power output is bumped from 140 to 165PS. And on the 1.6 TDi, this goes from 180 to 210PS.

Renaultsport Clio III Phase One gets life anew by Cam Shaft

Cam Shaft Clio RS

What you're looking here is an old, third generation, Phase I, Renault Clio but it has been modified by Cam Sport. An old Clio has been spiced up a bit with something matte, something green vinyl, and something green rims that made it more sleeker and sexier and every angle but sometimes it is a bit nasty.

Power output is now 225PS thanks to some optimization on the car's computers, K&N Sports Air Filter, and Supersprint 100-cell sport catalysts and exhausts. Also, the brakes used on this modified Renault Clio was been derived from the hot Megane.

Platinum Motorsport's Phantom Conquistador

Rolls-Royce Phantom Conquistador
by Platinum Motorsport

Right, some tuning news and this time it's Platinum Motorsport, the guys that brought us that modified Continental GT on FM4 a couple of months ago. They're releasing their latest creation based on the ultra-luxury, ultra-expensive, fun for rappers, Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan fitted with the Mansory Conquistador body kit and a 26 inch Gionelle Santorini wheels. Those rims are huge and this modified version would be a perfect fit for the most notorious drug lord in the East Coast!

If all goes well, they'll be making four of these Phantom Conquistadors.

2013 Nissan Latio N17 gets the IMPUL treatment?! Ahem...

2013 Nissan Latio with IMPUL aero kit

The 2013 Nissan Latio (known in other countries as the Almera or Sunny) compact sedan was recently launched a few weeks ago in Japan with the starting price of 1,388,100 Japanese Yen.

In Malaysia, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) decided to spice up the Almera a little bit with the help of Nissan tuning firm, IMPUL (URL: http://www.impul.co.jp/index_top2.html).

The N17 Latio tuned by IMPUL comes with an IMPUL Blast 2 Exhaust Muffler and 16-inch HS-06 alloy wheels in silver and black with a matte finish. The rims equpped by IMPUL helped reduced its weight by 20 to 30%. Also, it has been lowered by 30mm thanks to its IMPUL-made suspension.

Malaysia is the first to get this spiced-up Latio/Almera/Sunny N17. We still don't know when this will be offered in Japan...

Molto Veloce means More Power in Italian

DMC Aventador Molto Veloce

As the tuning scene for the all new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 continues, we might wanna take a look at this and this time, this spiced-up version of the Aventador, courtesy of tuner DMC, tweaked up the power of its V12 engine and it now produces 900PS of power! 900PS! So that's why Molto Veloce really means MORE POWER in Italian and that name really sums it up! Also, the retractable spoiler has been removed and replaced it with a fixed rear carbon fiber spoiler for enhanced aerodynamics.

EXCERPT:

DMC Aventador LP900 Molto Veloce tuning kit cost 125,000 euros

Following initial images released a few weeks ago, DMC has released pricing and details for its new styling package, dubbed LP900 Molto Veloce, for the Lamborghini Aventador.

The German tuner specializing in Italian sports cars has given a mind numbing price of 125,000 euros (~$165,000) for their complete Aventator tuning package. However, broken down into their separate kits the pricing may seem a bit more palatable for some.

"The Molto Veloce aims at Aventador owners that seek to add a little more exclusivity to their LP700," says Thorsten Grebers, Marketing Manager at DMC Germany. "The LP900 engine upgrade clearly targets speed enthusiasts."

The least expensive kits are the new interior which costs 17,700 euros and the ADV1 wheel package which starts at EUR 7.800.

Next is the body kit which costs 19,500 euros and consists of a front fascia, lower lip spoiler and splitter, side skirts, rear wing spoiler and rear fascia with diffuser. All components are made of carbon fiber.

The meat and potatos are found under the hood, accounting for a head banging 80,000 euros. DMC has given the 6.5-liter V12 a complete valvetrain rebuild with 12 unique single intake throttle plates, new fuel pump and lines as well as pressure modulators and new injector nozzles. Also, the optimized engine electronics in addition to an electronic load pressure control system and a completely new wiring system has allowed DMC to rebrand the vehicle as the LP900 suggesting power output is now 900 HP (887 bhp / 662 kW) compared to its standard 700 PS (690 bhp / 515 kW).

DMC recommends clients fly their LP700 to the company's workshop in Germany or Switzerland for the engine modifications, but body components can be installed by one of DMC's global dealers.

All items are ready for order now.

KENSTYLE tickles the fancies of the Biante Granz

Kenstyle Mazda Biante Granz

Kenstyle Mazda Biante Granz

So, this special edition Mazda Biante Granz minivan got itself modified by KENSTYLE, eh? Lovely. The Japan-only Biante Granz that was modified by KENSTYLE is just one of the many things why modified minivans in Japan are getting more noticeable by the average dads who spend the rest of his time driving his people carrier for work, for family time, and about everything he desires.

Anyway, a full kit that comes with a front under spoiler and the rear under skirt may cost about ¥122,850 when it's colored or ¥ 97,650 when it's not colored. A garnished fog lamp with LED illumination may cost about ¥ 58,065, fog light garnish costs about ¥33,915, front bumper fin costs ¥19,950 and a painted rear roof spoiler just costs you ¥50,400. It's rigged with WORK VARIANZA A6S F19×7.5+48 R19×8.0+48 rims and Yokohama DNA Earth-1 225/35-19 tires. You could also spend ¥6,300 for the HID Adjuster Link.

We think it's cool but...if you're from Malaysia, Thailand, or Indonesia, having a plot to get one then I'm sorry. The Biante is Japan-only vehicle and it's not intended to be at the hands at some Malaysian, Thai, or Indonesian because it's SMUGGLING.

Elia modified the Renault Wind with matching Lotus F1 Team colors

Elia Renault Wind

Despite that Lotus and Renault are now in separate ways since the end of 2011 Formula One season, Elia modified the Renault Wind roadster that featured, and while you're sitting down, Lotus F1 Team livery! While Elia doesn't explain about its specs, this modified Wind is dressed in the former Lotus Renault GP team livery all over the car and it comes with a sports exhaust system and some low-profile tires.

A little late for the party but it doesn't matter for this modified Renault Wind.
