2025 NASCAR Cup Series - Chicago Street Race

To recall, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series introduced the In-Season Challenge, where drivers clash through five rounds to win the $1 million cash prize. As Chase Elliott won the race in Atlanta, T. Dillon, Keselowski, Bowman, Wallace, Nemechek, Jones, Stenhouse Jr., Gragson, Preece, Hocevar, Reddick, Allmendinger, Gibbs, Smith, and Buescher are advancing to Round 2.

The In-Season Challenge continues on the streets of Chicago for a street race.

As the green flag waved, NASCAR's only street race had begun with The Big One impacting most of the In-Season Challenge Contenders, followed by engine issues for Chris Buescher, Brad Keselowski's withdrawal, and a spin by Alex Bowman, to name a few. As Michael McDowell won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw trouble for Josh Berry, followed by McDowell's stuck throttle. With Ryan Blaney winning Stage 2, the final stage saw Austin Cindric grind to a halt.
