The 2026 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, part of the 14th season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, is the biggest headline-grabber of the summer. As the new Toyota TR010 race cars prepare for their all-out gambit to reclaim their Le Mans victory rights from Ferrari, the arrival of the Genesis GMR-001 racing machines is not much of a concern.
As for the LMGT3 class, this race will mark the Lexus RC F GT3’s final outing in Le Mans before getting replaced by Gazoo Racing’s GT3 racing machine soon.
From Genesis’s Le Mans debut ended in disaster as well as the downfall of the mighty Ferrari 499P, it became a clash between Toyota, BMW, and Cadillac. As the climax draws near, it became Japan VS Germany.
