2023 NASCAR Cup Series - Verizon 200 at the Brickyard

The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series continues at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard.

Because it's set on the road course rather than the oval, a swarm of foreign exchange drivers make their appearances including Supercars champion Shane Van Gisbergen (who won the Chicago Street Race early last month), former Formula 1 driver Jenson Button, another Supercars driver Brodie Kostecki, and Le Mans winner Kamui Kobayashi, who made history as the first Asian driver to race in NASCAR. With four foreign drivers on the grid, it looks like the NASCAR greats don't want to repeat what happened in Chicago and this time, this is THEIR game.

As the green flag waved, the action at the Brickyard is on with Daniel Suarez leading the field. After the opening lap, Kamui Kobayashi spins in turn 2 after being shoved by Andy Lally while Justin Haley got shoved by Joey Logano into the tire barrier in turn 5.

As the race restarts on lap 6, Kobayashi went off track three laps later. As Daniel Suarez beats Michael McDowell off pit road in Lap 17, it didn't take long until Austin Dillon takes the lead before he went to the pits on Lap 28.

Fast forward to Lap 48, Daniel Suarez bumps Chase Elliott out of the way for 2nd in turn 12 followed by Kyle Busch missing turn 12 in 8th with a flat spotted tire on Lap 58, Todd Gilland gets into the wall in turn 12 a lap later, Jenson Button and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. make contact again in Lap 65, and Stenhouse sent Kobayashi spinning in turn 1 in Lap 67.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series - Quaker State 400

Despite hangovers from Chicago, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Quaker State 400. This time, it's everybody's game now.

As the green flag waved moments after Kevin Harvick's tribute run in honor of Harvick's retirement from Cup racing at the end of the season, the action in Atlanta is on.

In Stage 1, the #21 car loses control off the corner while Joey Logano made a power play to gain the lead...only it wasn't enough. As Ryan Blaney takes Stage 1, Stage 2 saw a nudge by Corey LaJoie send William Byron spinning followed by a disastrous spin by Kyle Larson, a would-be-the-big-one by LaJoie in Turn 2, and a collision course between the #48 and the #11. 2023 NASCAR Cup Series - Grant Park 220

For the first time in 75 years, NASCAR held its first-ever street race on the streets of Chicago with the Grant Park 220. With special appearances including three-time Supercars champion Shane Van Gisbergen and former F1 driver Jenson Button spicing up the grid, this is NASCAR unbounded because...this is Chicago after all.

As the green flag waved, the first-ever NASCAR street race in Grant Park, Chicago, is underway. The first stage saw Kyle Busch goes windshield deep into the turn 6 tire barrier, and Noah Gragson crashed into the tire barrier.

As Christopher Bell wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw a bad case of deja vu for Gragson as he crashed into the tire barrier again, and a double whammy for Alex Bowman with a spin and an engine problem.

As Christopher Bell wins Stage 2 under caution, word from the mouth is the race has been shortened to 75 laps due to the upcoming sunset, meaning the race has 29 laps left, setting the stage for the final stage to determine who will win the first NASCAR Chicago street race. With the final stage kicked off, a massive pileup occurred in turn 11 when William Byron went into the wall, causing Corey LaJoie to check up and be spun by Kevin Harvick and started a chain reaction.

Come Lap 57, Tyler Reddick stuck the tire barriers in turn 6, Martin Truex Jr. slid into the tire barrier in turn 1, and in Lap 73, an overtime-triggering incident when Bubba Wallace gets spun into Ricky Stenhouse Jr., sending the latter into the outside tire barrier.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series - NASCAR All-Star Race

The mothballed North Wilkesboro oval track has been spectacularly revived to its former glory, making it the ideal battleground for this year's NASCAR All-Star race event, the first NASCAR race since its closure in 1996.

Before the All-Star Race occurred in the born-again North Wilkesboro, an All-Star Open event occurred with the top 2 finishers and the Fan Vote winner getting transferred to the All-Star Race. With Noah Gragson the Fan Vote winner, Josh Berry winning the All-Star Open and Ty Gibbs finishing 2nd, they got the spot at the All-Star Race alongside points race winners from the previous and present NASCAR Cup Series races as well as past All-Star Race winners and NASCAR Cup Series Champions.

200 laps, 24 racers, and one million dollars at stake. This is what the NASCAR All-Star Race is all about and because this is North Wilkesboro born again, it's historical.
