It's Judgment Day once again at the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs as the Hollywood Casino 400 race at Kansas Speedway determines who will or will not make it to the final 8 of the playoffs. With all the thrilling action happening at Kansas, the road to Homestead is becoming a wild one.

As the green flag waves, the elimination race kicked in with loads of drama and thriller in store. In Stage 1, we saw Ryan Blaney wiggled while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. smacked the wall and then the thrilling five-wide for the lead. As Joey Logano won Stage 1, Stage 2 gets even more action with a contact between Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer, and the #66 got nudged out by someone behind, triggering a caution. Stage 2 belongs to Denny Hamlin. In the final moments of the race, more drama involved with Ryan Blaney scratched the wall and triggered a caution, and Bubba Wallace spun while lost a tire. As the overtime triggered, the #41 and the #8 smashed themselves to the wall while the #22 got spun out.
After all the thriller in Kansas, Denny Hamlin wins the Hollywood Casino 400 race and the final 8 is assembled. Brad Keselowski, William Byron, Alex Bowman, and Clint Bowyer are all out of the playoffs.
With Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Ryan Blaney completed the final 8, who will make it to the final four of the playoffs? The action continues at Martinsville Speedway for the First Data 500 on the 27th of October.
