At the 2021-22 Seattle International Auto Show

After being called off last year due to the COVID pandemic, the Seattle International Auto Show returned for 2021 at the Lumen Field Event Center for the entire Veterans Day weekend, from the 11th to the 14th of November, 2021.

Despite its comeback, this year's car show focused more on the mainstream and less on lavishly-priced luxury cars so if you're looking for some outrageously-priced Germans, tough luck. Anyway, here are some of the pics that I got during my visit to the car show.

Visiting the Tulip Town at Skagit Valley

Earlier, me and my family went to the outskirts of Skagit Valley to check out Tulip Town, a tulip farm that celebrates the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, which runs through the rest of April.

First and foremost, what is Tulip Town? It's the premiere tulip farm situated in the outskirts of Mount Vernon, Washington. It's one of the popular venues of the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival which occurs every April. This year though is the second Tulip Festival of the COVID-19 era so health and safety protocols mean that visitors need to wear masks, practice social distancing, and most importantly, handwashing.

Also, due to COVID-19 protocols, visitors have to reserve tickets online before visiting Tulip Town.

As we get through the entrance of Tulip Town, the fun truly begins.

The famous Tulip Town windmill on display.

An old house full of tulips blooming.

Rust in pieces, Mr. Truck.

All aboard! Welcome to the Tulip Town express! Visitors have the chance to ride one of these tractor-pulled fleets to check out the sights and sounds of Tulip Town.

When you're done checking around the tulips blooming around Tulip Town, you can visit the store to buys some snacks and drinks as well as bulbs to plant in your home garden and some souvenirs.

My video:

So, what do you think about Tulip Town? Is this the best place to spend spring in the Pacific Northwest? A place where you can relax yourselves, looking at the tulips blooming around the field? If so, I'd recommend visiting Tulip Town when the annual Tulip Festival blooms every April.

At the 2019-2020 Seattle International Auto Show

Earlier, I went to the CenturyLink Field Event Center to attend this year's Seattle International Auto Show presented by BECU, which runs until the 17th of November, 2019. This year's car show showcases the latest machines available including Toyota's GR Supra of course.

Although words are hard to describe this year's car show that is #WorthTheWhiff, here are some pics from this year's show.

My first PAX West experience

Every Labor Day weekend in the West Coast, one of the biggest gaming expos in the world, the PAX West, brought the roar to the gaming community at the Washington State Convention Center. There are showcases of the newest trends in video games, e-sports tournaments, celebrity guests, cosplays, merchandise, and so much more. It's fair and obvious to say why most of the passes were sold out minutes after announcement but you get the point.

I had my first experience of PAX West this year which took place from the 30th of August to the 2nd of September, which is Labor Day in America of course, and believe me, that expo is fierce in terms of lines, security checks, and showcases PAX West delivered to the visitors.

At the 31st Pacific Northwest Historics Vintage Races

As people from the Pacific Northwest trying to beat the hangovers from the 4th of July holiday, a handful of car enthusiasts spent the weekend at Pacific Raceways for the annual Pacific Northwest Historics Vintage Races.

On its 31st outing, this year's Pacific Northwest Historics celebrates 50 years of IMSA Racing and in addition the vintage racing action lineup, this year's guests of honor are none other than Mitch Bishop and Kathy Rude, two key people in the history of IMSA.

This race weekend, happening until the 7th of July, in the Pacific Northwest is just the ideal way to stave off hangovers from the 4th of July holiday. I managed to snap some shots just to pass the time.
