Top Gear S26 FINALE

After five weeks, Series 26 of BBC Top Gear has came to an end and this is the very episode where Matt LeBlanc's officially graduated from this show after four seasons since 2016 when Top Gear's revised.

Top Gear S26 FINALE

In the Series 26 finale, Matt LeBlanc, who is officially graduated from this show after this, checks out the brand new Aston Martin Vantage, a British sportscar with a German engine, and see if the German-powered Aston has the guts to outrun the Mercedes-AMG GT.

Then, Rory Reid tries to prove whether the new Rolls-Royce Phantom lives up to the promise as the best car in the world.

And after that, Chris Harris does a sensible car test to see if the new Ford Fiesta ST is better than the Lamborghini Aventador S on the road and on the track.

The season ender's guest star is Stephen Mangan.

So, there we are. After four seasons of having Matt LeBlanc on board, driving the world's best cars around the globe while mincing words with his co-hosts, this is an end of an era for a near-wonderful TG presenter who have done so much to bring Top Gear back to its form and some will really miss his charisma from this show.

Now that LeBlanc's time is finish, Andrew Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness's time begins and with the next season of Top Gear coming this year, here's the teaser video welcoming the newest TG presenters.

Top Gear will return soon...

Top Gear S26E04

In the penultimate episode of the 26th season of BBC's Top Gear, it's all about second-hand flagship saloons for the price of the new Dacia Sandero as the boys accept the producers' challenge to buy such cars and took on numerous challenges that are deemed to be punishable for their cars.

Top Gear S26E04

With LeBlanc bought a Bentley, Harris bought a Rolls-Royce, and Reid bought a Mercedes-Benz, the gang took on numerous challenges such as finding out if its faster than the Dacia Sandero, with The Stig behind the wheel, round the Top Gear Track, and then the ultimate test comes into play; the Silverstone six-hour endurance race. It has become one of the most car-punishing moments in Top Gear history.

This episode's Star in a Reasonably Fast Car is Matt Baker and he set a lap time of 1:38.6.

Top Gear S26E03

It's two men and a Bentley, a French hot hatch got duct taped with cardboard pieces, and a Porsche that is scary to drive in the third episode of the 26th season of Top Gear.

Top Gear S26E03

For a first, two presenters are reviewing one car as Chris Harris and Matt LeBlanc are tasked to review the all-new Bentley Continental GT until they got involved in a bitter argument to make it more convincing and to top it all, they summoned a Le Mans-winning racecar to pit against it.

Meanwhile, Rory Reid samples the all new Renaultsport Megane IV and to make it more sensible, he taped the car with some cardboard pieces to see if its as mad as Renault's hot hatch greats and it didn't go well according to plan. And then, Harris returns to the Top Gear track to sample the most frightening Porsche of all, the 991.2-spec Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

Gregory Porter is this episode's Star In A Reasonably Fast Car and he set a lap time of 1:43.4 round the Top Gear Track.

Top Gear S26E02

In the second episode of the 26th series of Top Gear, it's all about tuk-tuks in Sri Lanka and two hot German saloons in the track. Nothing more.

Top Gear S26E02

Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris are in Sri Lanka to prove that the tuk-tuk, the three-wheeled motorised rickshaw that ferries much of Asia about its daily life, is the most versatile vehicle on the planet. It wasn't an easy task but the boys find ways to make use of these three-wheeled wonders.

Meanwhile, Chris Harris is at the Top Gear Test Track, sampling the F90 M5 from BMW while it was up against the new Mercedes-AMG E63, driven by Business Stig.

Professor Green is this week's SIARFC and he set a lap time of 1:46.

Top Gear S26E01

BBC's Top Gear has returned for their 26th season but this will mark the last season to have Matt LeBlanc as host. Needless to say about what's going on with this season, this is going to be one hell of a send-off LeBlanc's going to meet as he will spend the last five weeks driving fast cars with Chris Harris and Rory Reid alongside.

In the beginning of what is known to be the last season for Matt LeBlanc on Top Gear, he and Harris went to Scandinavia to test out the newest high-performance shooting brakes. Matt LeBlanc tries out the Ferrari GTC4Lusso while Chris Harries tries out the new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo. The two guys took on series of challenges across Nordic roads.

Meanwhile, Rory Reid attempts to carve a new mountain using Suzuki's compact crossover, the Ignis. Then, he was challenged by a Fiat Panda Cross, driven by Sabine Schmitz, to see who rules the newest carved mountain Reid made.

James Marsden guested in the recent episode as Star In A Reasonably Fast Car and he set a lap time of 1:39 round the Top Gear Track.

Top Gear S25 FINALE

Easter Sunday, April Fools, the recent Top Gear is no joke because it is the Season 25 finale and in the finale, crossovers and a burning new Alpine are in the hooks.

It all starts with the newest midsize SUVs in the market as Matt LeBlanc drives the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Chris Harris drives the new Volvo XC60, and Rory Reid drives the new Range Rover Velar, getting involved in a messy comparo at the Burghley Estate via horse trials. Sounded familiar?

Harris, meanwhile, tries out the return of the Alpine A110 round the track. Later, he puts it to the ultimate test at the Rallye  Monte Carlo, with Eddie Jordan as his co-driver. Sadly, the A110 caught fire, spectacularly. When given to The Stig, it set a lap time of 1:22.9 round the track.

Jason Manford is the last SIARFC of this season and he set a lap time of 1:40.6 round the track.

And that concludes the 25th season of BBC Top Gear. After an American V8 Road Trip, hunting bigfoot, a trip to Japan, a look back on the 2CV, building the Track-Tor, and saddling crossovers, this season has been quite a ride for the boys and let's hope we'll see them again someday.

Top Gear S25E05

The fifth episode of this season's Top Gear is all about making a sports tractor, a hardcore muscle car not allowed for European roads, and a very powerful Ferrari.

Top Gear S25E05
The highlight of this episode is where Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris trying to make agriculture more fast and fun by turning an ordinary tractor into something they christened it as the "Track-tor". The Track-tor was so awesome, it managed to beat the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Tractor with the speed of 87.271mph.

Rory Reid, meanwhile, returns once again to America to sample the most hardcore muscle car that is so hardcore, it's banned for European roads. It's the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE and to demonstrate it, Sabine Schmitz coaches him to drive it round Willow Springs while aiming for the target time.

Also, LeBlanc samples the most powerful V12 Ferrari ever made, the all-new 812 Superfast, and he even takes it for a spin round Imola.

Award-winning actress Vicky McClure is this week's SIARFC and she set a lap time of 1:45.3 round the track.

Top Gear S25E04

The fourth episode of BBC Top Gear Season 25 is all about the fastest car ever to emerged from the United States, a post-war cult classic Citroen, and two of the most exciting cars ever to emerged from the Land of the Morning Calm, almost.

Top Gear S25E04
The biggest highlight of this episode is Matt LeBlanc trying out the fastest car in the world that can scare away the European exotics on the drag strips, the all-new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon with its 840HP Supercharged V8 and specially-made drag tires. Then, he puts the Demon to the test as he is tasked to aid the landing of the world's most technical aeroplane to land on the runway, specifically at the Armstrong Flight Research Center, the ER-2.

Rory Reid, on the other hand, samples the most exciting cars ever to come out in South Korea, well almost. There was Kia's brand new high-performance saloon sold in South Korea, the Stinger, and Hyundai's GTi contender that is (still as of now) not sold in South Korea, the all-new i30 N. Meanwhile, proving that the i30 N is the real GTi contender, they've summoned Stig's teenage cousins to answer the question amidst the wet weather. The GTi did it in 1:39.3 while the i30 N did it in 1:34.6.

Then, Chris Harris pays tribute to the legendary Citroen 2CV and see what it's like driving it with Matt LeBlanc interrupting his fun in their very own adventures with the French classic and later racing against 2CV drivers in a race.

Ed Byrne and Dara O Briain are this week's Stars in a Reasonably Fast Car and in that segment, in wet conditions, Ed did it in a 1:50 while Dara did it in 1:53.2.

Top Gear S25E03

In the recent episode of Top Gear Season 25, the boys arrived in what is known to be the land of anime, robots, gadgets, painful game shows, J-pop, kawaii, sushi, and annoyingly, hybrid cars. That's right, folks. Top Gear is back in The Land of the Rising Sun, Japan!

Top Gear S25E03

On that episode, Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris are on a road trip to Enbu with second-hand Japanese sports cars. LeBlanc goes for the ER34 Nissan Skyline coupe while Harris goes for the FD3S Mazda RX-7. Throughout their road trip, the boys are taking some kinds of challenges including sumo wrestler racing as well as a sampling motorway food, a trip to the deserted Fukushima prefecture, and then tandem drifting, not to mention a finale where only one will have its flight back to Britain to sell it.

While the two had their fun, Rory Reid, meanwhile, is in Tokyo to observe the wild and wacky car culture Japan possesses, from kei cars, Bosozoku, heavily modified Lamborghinis, to a road-legal replica of a Porsche Le Mans prototype.

Then, Chris Harris samples Japan's latest sportscars, the all-new Honda Civic Type R FK8 and the Lexus LC500. There's even a one-on-one shootout at the Ebisu Circuit as well with Harris in the new Type R up against The Stig's Japanese cousin in a Lexus. That's Ninja Stig to you. After the duel, both the LC and the Civic Type R recorded a 1:25.6 lap time at the Top Gear track.

They try different kinds of offroaders at their disposal; a Ford F-650, a Sherp Pro ATV, they even ride the all-electric Alta Redshift dirt bike as well. They've even thrown a flying ATV to the mix.

Harris, being a McLaren nut, goes to Portimao, Portugal, to check out the newest McLaren supercar, the 720S. It even had a shootout against the P1 as well.

Then, when the boys went Bigfoot hunting, Rory Reid's occupied with the creation of reverse racing, which involves driving cars on reverse.

Top Gear America - Time Capsule

The season finale of the first-ever Top Gear America on BBC America is all about remembering your first love with your first car.

Bill Fichtner remembers the moment with his 1966 Buick Special, Antron Brown with his Honda CT70 bike, and Tom "Wookie" Ford with the Series IIA Land Rover.

Looking into old cars, Tom checks out the best of AMG with the wideout Benz C126 coupe and later with the AMG 500TE estate.

Then, Bill and Tom are sampling the retro taste of electricity with the VW Splitty and Ferrari 308, both modified to run on electric motors. But since focus goes to the EV-upgraded Ferrari, they let The Stig drive both the normal, petrol-powered Ferrari 308 against the modified 308 with electric motors on. After lapping two identical Ferraris round the track, the normal 308 did it in 1:26.19 while the Electric GT did it in 1:16.43. It's a shocking revelation to see that an electric powered car can eat its normal equivalent on the track.

Magician Penn Jillette is the last guest of the season and he did it in 1:34.25.

Because this is the season finale, Wookie crashes through the Top Gear Test Track in the UK to dig more on AMGs and then tries out their latest offering, the Mercedes-AMG GT R and the GT C Roadster.

Man, what a ride it was for the first-ever Top Gear America. Going on a Baja with the buggy, doing stunts, camping, going drag racing, recreating the first NASCAR race in history, offroading, the list goes on and on, not to mention driving some of the best cars and inviting America's best celebrities. This newly-revived American version of Top Gear is everything you need to pass the time before the real Top Gear returns soon.

Well, now that the first season's wrapped up, we're back for the waiting game until its rival motoring show popped up in the autumn and we are in a tough battle before the original shows up. Until then, thanks for watching Top Gear America and see you next trip!

The recent episode of BBC America's Top Gear America is all about a blast in the past.

Bill Fichtner arrives at Charlotte Motor Speedway to have a dose of NASCAR action and learn of its dirty history, until the arrival of Tom Ford and Antron Brown prompted them to recreate the first NASCAR race in history in this very place, with a slight twist involving the use of 1980's cars.

With Bill in a Buick Regal, Tom in a Pontiac Grand Prix, and Brown in a Ford Thunderbird, the boys are recreating a piece of NASCAR history with hillarious results.

Top Gear America - Life on the Go

The recent episode of Top Gear America is all about people movers driven by breadwinners and soccer moms alike every day.

With a budget of three grand, the boys are buying RVs for an adventure of a lifetime. Tom Ford bought a second-hand Dodge van while Antron Brown bought a second-hand Chevy Silverado pickup with an RV bit on it. However, Bill Fichtner trumped them both by renting a brand new, F-350-based, Earthroamer XV-LTS recreational vehicle for the weekend and getting himself cozied like a boss while Wookie and Brown are struggling to live with the RV life.

Then, Antron Brown has his first dibs on Toyota's "swagger wagon", the Sienna, and also the track-day weapon equivalent, the Sienna R-Tuned Concept, approved by The Stig and his family. Yes, The Stig has a family in case you're wondering. Family matters aside, The Stig drove it and lapped it round the track in 1:15.62.

Top Gear America - Made in America

The Americanized version of BBC's hit motoring show, Top Gear, returns with a new name and a new home on BBC America. In the pilot episode of Top Gear America, William "Bill" Fichtner, Tom "Wookie" Ford, and Antron Brown are driving back to the American border from Mexico using offroad buggies. It's a tough journey back home but life couldn't get even more crazier than this.

Meanwhile, Wookie lands in Marysville, Ohio, to examine the brand new Honda/Acura NSX hybrid supercar and then handed over to The Stig to set a lap time of 1:07.78. Then, Bill tries out the all-new Ford F-150 Raptor high-performance offroad truck.

Former baseball superstar C.J. Wilson is the first celebrity to do a lap round the track in a brand-new Honda Civic Hatchback and after some hearty conversations with the host, he set a lap time of 1:24.25.

The pilot episode of this new shows that it still has the heart of the original show, only American, and it's a fair say that it's much better to watch than the old Americanized Top Gear the History Channel removed. With a new home, new faces, and the same Top Gear craziness, this Top Gear America really is the ideal motoring show to pass the time and I strongly agree with that.
