F1 2025: Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix

The F1 2025 season has three races left, with the last street race of this season, the Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. Amid inclement weather, that didn't stop the ongoing title clash between Max Verstappen and the McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Let's find out what this race is all about.

Due to the disqualification of both McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, because of the thickness of the rear skid on their cars, Max Verstappen's recent win places him 24 points behind Norris in the standings. As a result of this disqualification, the Mercedes drivers, George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, have been promoted to second and third place, respectively. Other finishers include Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Isack Hadjar, Nico Hulkenberg, Lewis Hamilton, Esteban Ocon, and Ollie Bearman.

Gabriel Bortoleto was slapped with a five-place penalty for the next race for his Turn 1 crash with Lance Stroll.

With only two races left this season, can Max Verstappen regain the lead to defend his Driver's Champion status, or will the two McLaren drivers fight back until one of them gets their first title?

F1's 75th anniversary celebrations continue with the penultimate race of the season, the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, this November 30, 2025.
