- The Pentagon, America's military headquarters, is preparing for weeks of ground operations in Iran. According to a report, the plan could involve raids by Special Operations and conventional infantry troops in Tehran. However, it remains uncertain whether United States (US) President Donald Trump will approve it.

- The Philippine National Police (PNP) strongly condemned the ambush that occurred on its personnel in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur, on the night of March 28, 2026. In the said ambush, members of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company were attacked by unidentified armed suspects while they were returning to their detachment after patrol and police visibility operations. As a result of the incident, five policemen were killed while three others were wounded and are currently being treated in the hospital.

- Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste warned that the Philippines' debt could exceed ₱19 trillion if the waste of the people's money is not stopped.

- President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. said that the Philippines' good relations with oil-producing countries have been a great help in ensuring sufficient supply to the country. According to the President, the country's oil supply reserves are more than 40 days due to good relations with suppliers. He also admitted that there have been times when some oil suppliers have not responded immediately after tensions flared in the Middle East.

- The all-new RAM ProMaster City has been unveiled. This model is based on the current generation of Eurovans, including the Peugeot Traveler and Opel Zafira Life, among others. It is designed to fit in standard parking garages with a height of under 80 inches. The ProMaster City can accommodate two standard pallets, offering a cargo volume of 167 cubic feet.
