Cars GT6 Should Put (Volume 3)

Everyone knows that more and more car gamers everywhere are willing to prefer the upcoming Gran Turismo 6, coming this winter exclusively on the Playstation3 console, than the upcoming Forza Motorsport 5, coming this autumn exclusively on the new XBOX One console. However, despite the 1200-car lineup, there are some cars GT6 should put...

Cars like...

1) RUF Rt35 '12

Why: Because of EA restrictions, no Porsches are allowed to be here except the Need For Speed franchise. That's why the committee picked RUF. Some people say that RUF is a tuner for all things Porsche but it is a manufacturer of its own right. They even built the legendary CTR Yellowbird which garnered much praise and attention in the motoring world. That rings me, how come they never add just one new RUF here? Maybe this special Rt35 would do the trick.

Built to celebrate RUF's 35th anniversary, the special Rt35 was launched at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and it's based on the latest 991 Porsche 911 but with added turbos to develop 621HP of power and a 205mph top speed. I sure hope GT6 should feature this special machine that what makes RUF special

2) Vauxhall Astra Tech Line '13

WHY: Starting Season 20 of Top Gear, the Vauxhall Astra Tech Line (with Lifetime Warranty) served as the new reasonably priced car for the show, replacing the first-generation Kia Cee-Apostrophe-D. Oh come on. Back in GT5, you didn't feature reasonably priced cars, whereas the rival Forza Motorsport 4 game has the Cee'd and the Liana.

Come on, GT6, you have to feature this new reasonably priced car because it's what we, Top Gear fans, want.

3) Toyota Crown Athlete S '12

WHY: Last December 2012, Toyota launched the 14th generation Toyota Crown and the Crown I was interested on, not the hybrid one, but the Athlete one with the 3.5L V6 engine and the 8-speed automatic gearbox. Although, I don't like the new model's weird look, I just wanna see this car showed up in GT6 anyway and if it does, this is probably one of the executive saloons I'm looking forward to, just in case I wanna compare it to the TOM'S Chaser and the old Toyota Aristo models.

4) Lexus IS 350 F-Sport '13

WHY: There's a new generation Lexus IS out there and even though it still has an even weirder look than the new Toyota Crown, I still want to see this car to be in Gran Turismo 6 no matter what. The one I'm interested in was the IS 350 F-Sport model. Like the Crown Athlete, it comes with a 3.5L V6 engine mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. I wanna compare this one to the new Crown Athlete just in case both of these showed up in Gran Turismo 6.

5) Renaultsport Clio 200 EDC '13

WHY: Despite being double-clutch only and five-door only, the new Renaultsport Clio is just one of the most anticipated hot hatches of 2013. In terms of handling, the new Clio sure behaves like a spartan and you don't need to be an expert to master this kind of hot hatch. I really want Gran Turismo 6 to feature this hot Clio for the heck of it.

The results please? So, if Polyphony's still on the rethinking process whether these cars I've mentioned will be featured on Gran Turismo 6, whether in game or as a DLC, you can't say that I didn't had a bit to do with that.

Take that to Kaz Yamauchi!

Cars GT6 Should Put (Volume 2)

Everyone knows that more and more car gamers everywhere are willing to prefer the upcoming Gran Turismo 6, coming this winter exclusively on the Playstation3 console, than the upcoming Forza Motorsport 5, coming this autumn exclusively on the new XBOX One console. However, despite the 1200-car lineup, there are some cars GT6 should put...

Cars like...

1) Mazda CX-5 XD '12

WHY: If I recall, the Nissan Leaf was added in Gran Turismo 5 last year because of its 2011-2012 Japan COTY win. That was the theory but if that became truth, why not add the CX-5? The CX-5, thanks to its clean diesel engine, KODO design, and SKYACTIV Technology, won the 2012-2013 Japan COTY award and this crossover deserves to be in GT6. Imagine if I can abuse this crossover round the Top Gear Test Track or at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca...

2) Lotus Exige S '12

WHY: What Gran Turismo 6 needs is a lightweight V6-powered Lotus because the Evora is not enough to tickle my fancies. How about the new Lotus Exige S? It maybe heavier than the old one but the supercharged V6 engine from the Evora S really makes it a competitive British lightweight even if it weighs more than one ton. I love driving this new Lotus Exige S so much, I just really wish that the V6-powered Lotus Exige S should be part of the GT6 car lineup. Please make it happen for the sake of Lotus fans.

3) Holden HSV GTS '13

WHY: Gran Turismo 5 never featured a Premium Australia car. The only Holdens offered in GT5 were the VZ Commodore SS and the Monaro sports coupe. That's not enough because what Gran Turismo needs are some new V8 Aussie muscles. With rumors suggesting that GT6's adding an Australian race track, I just hope this came true and if that, I really need to see some new Australian cars, especially the Gen-F HSV Holdens. Maybe the new Gen-F HSV GTS would do. It has the same engine that powered the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, making it the most powerful performance production car ever built in Australia.

I just want one...to be in GT6. Please? Do this for our Australian mates?

4) Mazda Atenza XD L-Package '12

WHY: Two generations of Mazda Atenza or Mazda 6 were featured on GT5. For Gran Turismo 6, can you please just feature the latest incarnation of the Mazda Atenza saloon car? Yep. It's the one that look like the Takeri concept car, has SKYACTIV Technology, Kodo design, and comes with two body shapes; a saloon and the wagon. I wonder if the SKYACTIV-powered Atenza fares well in the world of Gran Turismo 6...

5) Peugeot 208 GTi '13

WHY: The Peugeot 208 GTi uses the 3-door 208 as its basis for this high-performance model that harks back to the legendary 205 GTi. It was reviewed in the Series 20 opener of BBC Top Gear with Richard Hammond behind the wheel. This hot hatch makes it a perfect addition to GT6 so if you had the time, please feature it. Thank You.

The results please? So, if Polyphony's still on the rethinking process whether these cars I've mentioned will be featured on Gran Turismo 6, whether in game or as a DLC, you can't say that I didn't had a bit to do with that.

Cars GT6 Should Put (Volume 1)

Everyone knows that more and more car gamers everywhere are willing to prefer the upcoming Gran Turismo 6, coming this winter exclusively on the Playstation3 console, than the upcoming Forza Motorsport 5, coming this autumn exclusively on the new XBOX One console.

Sure, it may have a 1200-car lineup; some are new while most came from GT5, but for me, I think it's not quite enough because for the upcoming GT6, they don't know what "quality over quantity" means, the whole "Standard" and "Premium" tier car lineup is a stupid idea, the worst car physics because they've been partnering with Yokohama, one of the worst tire makers in the world because no other supercars of today wear those, the lack of community-made content such as livery editing and the feature to upload replays, less partnerships, and everything but why would most idiots want to have a go for it rather than the completely perfect Forza? I mean come on, you would wanna go old-fashioned rather than modern, well good luck with that. I hope whatever's missing would be your lesson.

However, if those weren't a concern. my biggest concern would be the cars and since while other racing game franchises such as Forza, NFS, Grid, and others features the latest and the hottest machines than Gran Turismo, it's going to be a total pain for me if this don't go exactly as planned. To address the issue to Mr. Kaz Yamauchi and the rest of Polyphony Digital, I made myself a special segment I called...

CARS GT6 SHOULD PUT! Lovely. This is a brand new segment starting from now up until the game comes out this winter 2013, I'm going to provide five different cars that Gran Turismo 6 should put. It's going to be every week so every week, I'll be posting more of the cars that GT6 should put so by the time it arrives, it shouldn't be a rot and keeps every players happy.

Are you ready? Here goes...

For this week's CARS GT6 SHOULD PUT, here are the cars that Gran Turismo 6 should put. (No Porsches, please. You know the rules...):

1) Ferrari F12berlinetta '13

WHY: This is Ferrari's most powerful road car right before the hybrid hypercar LaFerrari showed up on the flesh. It showed up at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and based on its press releases, it lapped round the Fiorano quicker than the Enzo or the 599 GTO (which Gran Turismo had no plans for that). The engine is a 6.3L V12 engine, the same thing as seen on the FF, but it's been uprated to produce 740PS of power, that's more than the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, and 690Nm of torque.

I believe that Gran Turismo 6 should put this because this can be a very nice addition to the game's Ferrari lineup and it's one of the most enjoyable cars I have ever witnessed in ages. May not quite be an alternative to its Lambo rival but my gosh, it's still a thoroughbred with a throaty V12 engine.

2) Aston Martin Vanquish '13

WHY: This is Aston Martin's newest flagship grand tourer. It serves as a replacement to the outgoing DBS and it inspired its design from the now sold out One-77 hypercar. Although it may not quite as good as the other hardcore Astons but it's still a beauty worth enjoyable to drive. James May drove that on a Series 19 episode of BBC Top Gear and shortly, XTM's Top Gear Korea had its host Kim Jim Pyo drove one round the BBC Top Gear Test Track in one episode.

Since the Willow Springs is included on GT6 and with the LFA returning and the SRT Viper announced, I bet this can be worth the ticket to recreate the Aerial Laser Tag scene from Top Gear Series 19 Episode 2. Please make it possible to add the new Vanquish on GT6. I'm begging you...

3) Lancia Rally 037 '82

WHY: Replacing the Stratos in the world of rally, the 037 became the only Group B rally machine to defeat the might Audi Quattro. A lot of Gran Turismo fans are begging to have this classic rally car featured on GT6 and since the rally-spec version of the Quattro is added, this car makes it quite the perfect treat to initiate the duel between the Quattro and the 037. Mathematical!

4) Fiat 500 Abarth Esseesse '09

WHY: Because the standard Fiat 500's not good enough to tickle my fancies. Why is Gran Turismo ignoring this silly little Abarth anyway? Anyway, the Fiat 500 Abarth is one cool car to handle and imagine if I can take it for a spin on Rome Circuit, it should be a breeze. Come on, Kaz. This hot Abarth 500 needs to be on GT6.

5) Land Rover Range Rover Evoque '11

WHY: That reminds me, why is Polophony don't consider having Range Rovers in the world of Gran Turismo. Oh come on, I don't really like the Range Stormer concept you'd just offered because having a one-car lineup is not good enough. We really need more Range Rovers. Hmmm.... How about this Range Rover Evoque. When used in dirt and snow, the Evoque really behaves like a Range Rover even though in its crossover sizing.

Please make it happen for us...

The results please? So, if Polyphony's still on the rethinking process whether these cars I've mentioned will be featured on Gran Turismo 6, whether in game or as a DLC, you can't say that I didn't had a bit to do with that.
