- The situation around the PH Senate remains peaceful despite several clashes recorded during the height of the protest action by supporters of the camp of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and former President Rodrigo Duterte.

- Former Senator Sonny Trillanes insisted that Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano should face the fact that he lost after the Senate leadership election.

- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has summoned former Anakalusugan party-list Rep. Mike Defensor on June 10, in connection with information that he allegedly ‘bribed’ ₱5 million each to ‘18 ex-marines.’

- The Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFOMS) has rejected Senator Rodante Marcoleta's claim that some members of the media, particularly journalists covering the Senate, should be "paid." In a statement, PTFOMS said that apart from the baselessness of the allegation, it could also pose a threat to the security and safety of journalists who are only carrying out their duties under a democratic society.

- The Sandiganbayan 2nd Division denied the motion filed by Sen. Jinggoy Estrada's camp regarding the graft case filed against him.

- The Philippines failed to secure a seat as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), after Kyrgyzstan won the vote for the Asia-Pacific Group representative. In the fourth round of voting, Kyrgyzstan obtained 142 votes against the Philippines' 49, earning it its first seat on the Security Council. At the same time, Zimbabwe, Austria, Portugal, and Trinidad and Tobago were also elected as new non-permanent members of the UNSC.

- Three members of the Royal Navy die in a helicopter crash during a training exercise in Devon, England.

- The Hampshire Police chief apologizes to Henry Nowak's family for the way the murdered teenager was handcuffed and arrested as he lay dying.

- Mitsuoka is teasing a new open-top sports car coming this November.

- The Subaru Levorg Layback S:HEV has been unveiled. This new model is equipped with the same series-parallel hybrid system found in the Crossback and the Forester. Offered in a wagon configuration, it has some distinct differences from the standard Layback SUV, including a different front headlamp design, a conventional front bonnet, and a height that is 200mm lower.

- The special-edition Ford Bronco Filson was unveiled, made in collaboration with outdoor brand Filson, and it will go on sale in early 2027.

- Game 1 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals saw Ginebra leading 1-0 after beating TNT at the score of 102-100.

- Game 1 of the NBA Finals saw the New York Knicks draw first blood after beating the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 105-95.

- SIGABO, the new action-packed TV drama starring Coco Martin and Julia Montes, will premiere this June 22, 2026, at 8PM.
