F1 2026: MSC Cruises Gran Premio de Barcelona-Catalunya

F1 2026's summer of trans-European racing continues in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the MSC Cruises Gran Premio de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Despite being overshadowed by the WEC's Le Mans endurance race, this F1 race is another headline-grabber of the summer because of a certain anti-climactic moment that rocked this season.

Mechanical failures at the near end of the Spanish Grand Prix caused current frontrunner, Mercedes's Kimi Antonelli, ended his five-win streak of the season. This is the incident Antonelli wouldn't want to remember.

Behind Antonelli's heartbreak, Lewis Hamilton ended his winless streak by delivering his first-ever win as a Ferrari driver, beating George Russell and McLaren's Lando Norris. Other finishers include Max Verstappen, Oscar Piastri, Isack Hadjar, Pierre Gasly, Franco Colapinto, Liam Lawson, and Arvid Lindblad.

F1 2026's summer of trans-European racing continues in Spielberg for the Lenovo Austrian Grand Prix this June 28, 2026.
