The summer of trans-European races for the 2026 F1 season began on the streets of Monaco with the Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco. This iconic street race showcases the capabilities of the new-generation F1 racing machines as they navigate the twisting corners of the Côte d'Azur.

This season's Monaco Grand Prix features many incidents, including Max Verstappen's poor start and the Red Flag-causing crash by Charles Leclerc as the climax approaches.
Despite the unfortunate events in Monaco, Kimi Antonelli extended his winning streak to five races during the 2026 F1 season. Lewis Hamilton finished in second place, while Isack Hadjar achieved his first-ever F1 podium finish, securing third place. Other finishers included Oscar Piastri, Liam Lawson, Arvid Lindblad, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, and Sergio Perez.
