The 12th season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is underway in Berlin, featuring the two-part Berlin e-Prix. Ahead of the race weekend, significant news has emerged, including Opel's entry into the sport's GEN4 era next season and Lucas di Grassi's announcement of his retirement at the end of this season.

In the first part, Nick Cassidy made headlines by achieving his first-ever victory in Formula E, racing in a specially liveried "Pink Pig" Porsche. He finished ahead of Citroën's Cassidy and last season's champion, Oliver Rowland from Nissan. In the final segment, Mitch Evans secured a win against Rowland and Pascal Wehrlein.
Post-Berlin, Pascal Wehrlein leads the title fight with three points ahead of Mitch Evans, 101 vs 98, while Edoardo Mortara of Mahindra is in third with 93 points.
The next venue is in Monaco for the two-part Monaco E-Prix this May 16-17, 2026.
