- The MalacaƱang ready to face any petition filed against the 2026 national budget. This is the Palace's statement on Caloocan Rep. Edgar Erice's plan to file a petition with the Supreme Court, to question the legality of unprogrammed appropriations in the 2026 budget.

- ParaƱaque 2nd District Representative Brian Yamsuan has proposed the permanent removal of the ₱1,620 Travel Tax for Filipinos and citizens of member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). This is part of Yamsuan's House Bill 4793, a bill that aims to boost tourism and make travel more affordable in Southeast Asia.

- The Armed Forces of the Philippines has warned the public about a YouTube video currently circulating online claiming that the Philippines' security alliances have been revoked or reversed. In a statement, the AFP said the video contains fake information and comments that do not reflect the official policies or actions of the Armed Forces and the Philippine government.

- Ousted Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro made his court appearance in New York. Maduro was detained by US forces following last weekend's deadly military strikes near Caracas. He's expected to face multiple charges.
