Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are back, reprising their iconic roles as Glinda and Elphaba in the much-anticipated conclusion to last year's smash hit musical, Wicked. In this final chapter, titled Wicked For Good, the fates and destinies of the two characters are ultimately decided. As Glinda becomes the symbol of peace in the land of Oz, Elphaba, known as The Wicked Witch of the West, unleashes chaos. As the two face off, their destinies will be determined... for good. This movie also stars Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Prince Fiyero, Ethan Slater as Boq, and Marissa Bode as Nessarose, among others.

When the first Wicked movie came out last year, moviegoers didn't expect a second part to be coming soon, and here we are, with the long-awaited conclusion to last year's blockbuster, which picks up moments after the end of the first movie. There's nothing to explain about. Still, with a new setlist of songs in this gravity-defying final chapter, moviegoers will laugh, cry, and sing their hearts out as they witness the decisive moments between Glinda and Elphaba.

While it may not be the best movie of 2025—since the first Demon Slayer film holds that title—it is certainly a worthy contender for an Oscar and fits well into the category of an "artisan pick." From beginning to end, being part of the Wicked experience is truly a significant honor.
