Silverstone, the former World War II airfield that transformed into a racing circuit, was the site of the very first Formula One race 75 years ago. It comes alive once again as the celebrations for F1's 75th anniversary continue with the Qatar Airways British Grand Prix. This race has earned its status as an instant classic, even after 75 years.
