It's been a while since the Empire of Death, but Ruby Sunday is back in the fourth episode of Doctor Who Season 2. It may be her lucky day, but not for UNIT because they’re facing something that brings them down.

HOLD IT! Before my quick review, ensure you have already watched the episode. Then, come back here when you have.
Ruby Sunday (played by Millie Gibson) began dating Conrad Clark, a man who claimed he first met The Doctor and Belinda Chandra 18 years ago.
As the two are in a relationship, strange things are happening when a monster runs amok in the streets of London. As Ruby and Conrad try to confront the monster, UNIT forces have arrived to deal with the threat.
Sadly, the Shreek threat was a trap set up by anti-UNIT vloggers called Think Tank, where Conrad Clark is behind it.
With UNIT facing downfall following Conrad's recent vlog, Ruby and Kate Lethbridge-Stewart are not giving up. With word that Conrad infiltrated the UNIT HQ because of a spy he sent, it didn't take long before Kate unleashed a retaliatory counterattack against Conrad. That meant using the captured Shreek monster as leverage, exposing Conrad to what UNIT really is.
With UNIT back to normal, Ruby Sunday is reeling from the trauma she experienced last night. Meanwhile, Conrad, who was infected by Shreek poison ever since he got bitten by the said monster, comes face-to-face with The Doctor again. This time, The Doctor let Conrad off with a stern warning before sending him back to prison.
It's great to see Ruby Sunday back in this episode. We get the opportunity to explore her life after traveling with The Doctor last year. Now, she is dating a vlogger who later turns out to be an anti-UNIT vlogger.
Imagine dating someone who is trying to overthrow the very organization that is saving the world. It's a harsh but typical catfishing situation. Still, that serves him right about disinformation. Spreading fake news will lead you to deadly consequences.
This goes to show that, like what Ruby Sunday learned the hard way, be careful who you're dating. You might be dating a conspirator posing a threat to global stability.
We are halfway through the season, and another Mrs. Flood sighting occurred at the end of this episode. Expect more action in the coming weeks.
NEXT TIME: Barber story, anyone? About the missing people?
