Disney's Lilo & Stitch (2025 movie) |
Starring Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis, introducing Maia Kealoha as Lilo, the live-action remake of the Disney family classic sees Experiment 626, a.k.a. Stitch, escape from space and into planet Earth, destination Hawaii. While being hunted by Jumba and Pleakley, Stitch meets Lilo, a young girl whose sister, Nani, is her only family. Their first encounter wasn't really friendly, but together, they'll discover the true meaning of "Ohana", meaning "family" in Hawaiian, of course.
This fresh take on a Disney family classic speaks for itself. Even in a live-action hybrid movie setting, the timeless storytelling remains. Filled with memorable moments that evoke joy, sorrow, and anger, experiencing the thrill of a Hawaiian rollercoaster ride has never felt more alive. And yes, that iconic song is included!
There are 626 reasons why you should watch this new Lilo & Stitch movie, but there's one ultimate reason why you should. It's STITCH! Once gatecrashed the wonderful world of Disney since 2002, forever gatecrashing our hearts.
Aloha!
