The city of Townsville comes to life with some intense racing action as the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship continues with the NTI Townsville 500.

The action in Townsville made Shane Van Gisbergen the headline after sweeping through the entire race weekend. In the first race, he defeated Will Davison and pole-sitter, Cameron Waters, in a tightly contested match between them. And in the final race, following the last-lap clash that caused Anton De Pasquale to be slapped with a five-second penalty after pushing SVG off in the final corner, SVG got promoted to first place.
The next race is the OTR SuperSprint on July 30-31, 2022.
