F1 2022: Heineken Australian Grand Prix

After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Albert Park in Melbourne's back to its fighting form with the grand return of Formula 1's Heineken Australian Grand Prix. The return of the Australian Grand Prix is greeted not just by the return of Sebastian Vettel after meeting quarantine regulations but also by the newfound rivalry between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen in this new era of Formula 1. Can the newfound rivalry heat up?

With the lights out, the return of the Australian Grand Prix is on. The first two went well until Lap 3 saw Carlos Sainz out of the race after his car went to the gravel, triggering a virtual safety car. As the race resumes on Lap 7, Leclerc storms into the lead from Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Lap 10 saw Vettel go wide into the gravel but make it back. As the race heats up, Lap 24 saw Vettel crash and therefore out of the race. Sad day for the comeback man. With the race resumed on Lap 27, the drivers are going all-out by all means. However, come Lap 39, Max Verstappen's day in Melbourne is done by the request of his engineer. As the climax draws near, Leclerc made bold moves.
