Kicking off the race is Maximilian Guenther's unfortunate crash that triggered the safety car. As the race resumed, Stoffel Vandoorne tries to maintain his lead right up to the moment that ATTACK MODE is permitted. As the race intensifies, Robin Frijns snatched Vandoorne's lead. As the race nears its climax, Mitch Evans pulled a sudden resurgence as he stormed into the lead by surprise. In the end, Mitch Evans won the first race.

The second race, meanwhile, saw some more action, with Antonio Giovinazzi crashing in the middle of the race. In the end, Mitch Evans completed the Rome sweep with the win followed by Jean-Eric Vergne in 2nd place and Frijns in 3rd place.

The next race will be the Monaco E-Prix on the 30th of April, 2022.
