GRID Legends

The GRID franchise returns in the most dramatic installment where players will experience the most dramatic racing thriller ever witnessed as GRID Legends delivers the most intense racing experience for the racers who are new and familiar with the GRID franchise.

GRID Legends (PS5)

GRID Legends (Xbox)

GRID Legends is the first GRID game built in the time Electronic Arts took over the famed racing game developer Codemasters. Thanks to EA's takeover of Codemasters, this latest GRID game has the genes of the Need For Speed game, meaning this new installment feels like, you guessed it, a Need For Speed game.

This latest installment features the most intense campaigns ever made and the chance to create their own race rules, giving them endless possibilities to enjoy this latest GRID game their way.

So, what to start? GRID Legends features a story mode called Race To Glory, a live-action hybrid cinematic experience where players enter the world of GRID as a driver representing Seneca Racing where the fate of the racing team rests in your hands as you will take on rival teams such as Voltz and Ravenwest in the dramatic battle to become the GRID World Series champion.

Having enjoyed the game's story mode, you can experience Career mode, which is jam-packed with numerous races to take on. If you got what it takes to take on The Gauntlet, be prepared because you'll be going to need the right kind of cars to take on the most grueling races ever witnessed.

Unlike most racing games, GRID Legends features a teammate system and the return of the Nemesis system. Beginning with the latter, it's almost easy to turn your opponent into a Nemesis. If you harass your opponent long enough (like for instance, dirty overtakes, crashing to it several times, anything), your opponent will be tagged a Nemesis and the Nemesis driver will behave aggressively and chase against you, so watch out.

As for the teammate system, you can give race command a call during the race to check on your teammate's status. You can also give your teammate commands such as holding the position or defending against a Nemesis-tagged driver. This is applicable for Career Mode and Quick Race and with enough funding, you can upgrade your teammate and mechanic skills for more efficiency and bonuses in future races.

Whether you're new or a fan of the series, GRID Legends is fit for all levels of driving. You can customize your gameplay experience by adjusting AI difficulty, driving aids, use of Flashbacks, and more.

Racing an MX-5 against a 787B? No problem. Trucks vs. Minis? You betcha. Hypercars vs classics? Yes, we can. With the power to create different kinds of races in GRID Legends, the possibilities are nearly endless so feel free to experiment with different races with different cars and see which one is the best for you.

From its intense story mode, expansive career mode, an array of vehicles, and endless possibilities, GRID Legends is by no doubt the most intense installment of the GRID series, and thanks to EA's takeover of Codemasters, this game could have been a Need For Speed game, if you know what I mean.
