DTM 2021: Assen

The 2021 DTM season arrives in Assen for their sixth double-header race event that will literally heat things up even as the weather conditions in this venue gets slightly cooler.

In the first race, Marco Wittmann is named the winner while the Italian driver Mirko Bortolotti nicked his first podium finished by placing 2nd and Liam Lawson finished 3rd.

In the final race, meanwhile, Lucas Auer wins while Lawson and Wittmann finished 2nd and 3rd.

After Assen, the gap between Lawson and Wittmann is now at ten points, 175 vs. 165, while Kelvin Van Der Linde's in 3rd place with 160 points. It's too close to call.

With only two races left on this season, the title fight's going to be one-sided. Find out as the next event will be at the Hockenheimring from the 1st to the 3rd of October, 2021.
